The job…read moreconsisted of taking the old doors down, Painting the new doors I purchased from Lowe's (along with paint I purchased) putting the new painted doors up, along with taking light fixtures down and replacing them with new fixtures. The light fixtures were taken down with no problem and place where I wanted them. When it came to the doors he took down all the doors, however the doors he attempted to attach where NOT PAINTED , and PUT on wrong!!! The doors do not close!!! what kind of Handyman is this!!! The doors are rigged to appear nice however when you attempted to close the doors, you are unable to closed the doors. He also messed up one of my door frames attempting to shove a door that was to big into the frame. Now I must hire someone else to take down the doors, paint the doors, put the doors back up, and fix the out door frame that he damaged. DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!!! There is no justification for what he has done. His response was typical of a non professional Person,,, Jackie, now let's unpack some of things you listed above in its entirety. We did quote you the $1900 for the installation of 10 prehung doors, 1 vanity, and 3 light fixtures as confirmed in our conversation within thumbtack. Never once in those discussions did you mention painting the doors. As we would have promptly explained we don't do painting unless it's very minimal. Secondly, we are in agreement the light fixtures were done without issue. Where your train seems to derail is in reference to the doors. You didn't want the help nor did you inform R3 to hault the work. As trying to still make it work for you we made adjustments the best way we could with what you provided. You approved the work after reviewing and even sent a text saying " The work looked great" and asked us to do more work for you so now all of the sudden we have done a terrible job?? Good day Jackie its unfortunate that things have gone this way but we decline to further work with you as well. We wish you the best! Also I forgot to mention, No vanity was installed. That was my fault I did not purchase it, so that would have gave him ample time to figure out where each door should have been place. Per Reesio "We not only asked to come measure the doors prior to your purchase but we also informed you that what you did buy was in fact TOO big." This never Happened. Please do not hire him!!! In reference to the text he received form me praising his work , was due to my sister walking through the house at night and saying the doors look great I took her word.I needed more work done ( painting a entire kitchen and living room) He mention he did minimal painting right.... He reached out and was going to take the Job!!!! ( But remember this man is not a painter) By that time I made it home and notice the horrible job he did I sent him a text and which with pictures of the work and expressed my dissatisfaction.

Although Frick's was among the more affordable companies, I chose them based on Joseph's genuine sincerity in making sure I was happy with the work. He thoroughly explained how he would do things, made recommendations that saved me money and put all the specifics in writing. I appreciated his attention to details. Joseph and his crew did a magnificent job bringing this worn, disheveled, damaged house back to life. The home looks fresh and brand new. Every wall, ceiling and trim was painted. I have all new, gorgeous flooring. They made all kinds of repairs to the house, that if I had to hire someone for every kind of repair, would have cost me much more. I am thrilled with my "new" house and grateful to Joseph and his team of professionals.

The doors are fiberglass and the manufacturing company told me it would take a major blow to crack and indent the exterior surface of this door. When I pointed out the damages to the jamb to the carpenter, I was told "it came that way." They did not come that way. It took 2 days for 2 supposedly experienced carpenters to install doors that they had to remove after fully installed to correct problems that kept the doors from shutting. They were almost almost an hour late each day. They took 3 to 4 cigarette breaks per hour. They were not prepared with basics such as screws of various lengths, tools needed to plane a warped area in the opening for the door, spray foam to seal gaps in spaces, etc. I reached out to the carpenter and he flatly denied any damage occurred due to their installation and work with our doors. No willingness to assume any responsibility for their substandard work. Use caution if you hire this company. We have to buy another door to replace the damaged one.
