After paying them $13k for a new roof, a year later…read morewhen a branch fell and put a hole in the roof they could not be any less interested in doing the repair. It took them nearly two weeks to come out to check the damage, they estimated around $500 for the repair, then over a week later still had not gotten back to me to schedule. I called multiple times to follow up and they essentially told me that I was not a priority to them due to roof damage that had occurred in subsequent storms at other properties, but that they would come out and do the repair for double the initial quote. In a time where we are all struggling, it is sad to see a "family owned business" effectively price-gouging their paying customers. They are simply understaffed, overextended, and do not care about you as a customer in the long term.

Holly M (Director of Customer Engagment) caught wind that I was going to build and reached out to ask if Kent could provide a HVAC bid, and I'm so glad she did! She put me in contact with Bob and he made the bid process so easy. I had a finalized/signed bid in less than a week and we were able to negotiate a few other items that we wanted! I reached out to Bob via telephone with questions and he was prompt with his response. I found out later that he was actually on vacation when he responded! Holly also hand delivered information packets about the equipment we would be getting installed. The customer service is top-notch! Kent was my favorite company to work with during the new build. I was able to be on site while all the trades were there at the same time, and the Kent team was always the first to greet me when I arrived! We got the runaround from the other trades about when they would start on our home, but as soon as we gave Kent the green light, they showed up and started exactly when they said they would. This was the first time my contractor worked with Kent and he was so impressed. I was unable to be at the initial walk-through, so Holly and Alex made a special trip back out to the house to FaceTime me and make sure I was informed of the plan! They walked through every room, gave me their feedback/suggestions, and answered all my questions. I was confident that I was in good hands! The walk-through was on a Friday where they laid everything out then Alex made the ductwork on Monday and they were off to the races on Tuesday. I can't thank the install team enough, they were working in below freezing temperatures to get the job done! Kent really is a well oiled machine! The new owners, Stacy and Glenn know exactly what they're doing! New construction is full of twist and turns but I want to give a huge thank you to Holly, Bob, Alex, Zack, and Stacy for making this experience the easiest and most smooth part of the construction process!

After the service was installed, they verified everything electronically to make sure all was up and running. It was! Before they even started, I explained that safety was my biggest concern about electricity. Their explanation and verification was very reassuring. Also, they made sure that I could call them with any other questions I might have. I like that Red Tail has an amazing and informative website. Even more, I like that this company is individually owned not just a satellite of some big impersonal entity. You could tell the difference with the cordial, conscientious and professional service provided by Caius and Bryan. I will refer them to my family and friends. By the ongoing conversation between me and my husband, after the power outage and restoration took out our emergency generator and several speciality light switches, one of the gentlemen suggested we might be in need of an electrician. I thought he was a Home Depot employee but it turns out he was an electrician apprentice owner working with a licensed, bonded, and insured electrician owner. They came to our home the following day, assessed the damage, gave us an estimate for repairs (the actual bill was, in fact, less than the estimate) and returned in 2 days to fix the problem. They arrived when scheduled, did a good job, and cleaned up the work area when done. Highly recommend Red Tail Trades!
