They were the only service I reached out to who asked for specific details about the jobs before providing a quote, which is a great way to do business. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. They arrived a little before the time quoted with two people - one the main handyman and one being trained. They did a prompt and excellent job and the cost was very fair. They provided us information from the beginning on the amount of days it would take, they'd be here from 8-4 daily Monday-Friday. They were on target with that. The previous contractor that did my other bathroom would show up at 10 AM, leave for 2 hour lunch at 11:30 and work and hour and go home. I didn't have to deal with that with this place. They came in and did a job as specified. Our bathroom was outdated from the 1990's and he modernized it to our liking. However, he did not speak any English. How disappointing! I probably should have stopped there, but I didn't and I regretted it. It was too hard to communicate even the most simple words. We had to use a translator app which takes away from the time I'm paying for. I believe if you're going to charge $50 an hour, and the state minimum is $7.50, you should speak English. If you don't, you need someone with you that does. I had a series of tasks and every conversation required the app. The performance was excellent for some tasks and others were a bit disappointing. I was trying to patch some holes in the wall in the paint did not match exactly. He painted all the holes instead of just doing a small part and getting my approval before moving forward. Maybe we lost something in translation there. Now I have uneven colors and I'll have to cover with a painting. I'm giving it 3 stars because I feel that announcing that the worker does not speak English should be business practice for transparency. A paying customer deserves that. I paid them in full and made my comments known. If you only have one task, perhaps a translation app is okay. In my case, we had several and the constant need to record and play made it for a long afternoon.

He said he did two coats. I had to fix quit a few spots. We decided to try him again and gave him a $750 down payment on some painting in the home we were selling. Well, an assault landed him in jail. When he got out, he came to our house and said he knows he owes us the money. We even gave him a power washer to help him make money. We even said he could do some things to work off what he owes. He decided not to do that. He know won't pay us back and has blocked me. Not a good person.
