There are more than 44 centers teaching this mediation - it has become a real world wide sensation! I am so grateful to the helpers that have guided me along the way. I have completed all 7 levels and I so much at peace now it is amazing! They have multiple Sanghas and many activities for a broad spectrum of interests, all of them of very high quality. I like to go to the Sunday 5PM Awakening Heart Sangha, and always leave relaxed and with a clear mind, no matter how stressed I arrive - a great way to recharge for the coming week. I also like that it is multi-faith, non religious, but also integrates the Thich Nhat Hanh traditions, which give the place depth and uniqueness.

I was fortunate to have a chance to visit with Ruth and Tina when I arrived. Their vision is exciting! If you have a chance, arrive early so they can share with you their wonderful ideas. Ruth and Tina spared no expense on designing a studio that is very warm and inviting. I did my first vigorous class with Rebekah on October 5th 2022. Rebekah is a fun and very knowledgeable instructor. I love the way she builds on the flow. Allowing your body to warm up before breaking into more difficult poses. Rebekah is also excellent with counter poses which are very important when practicing yoga. Her class was a vinyasa with a few "circus tricks" lots of twists and balancing . Shala yoga loft is now my favorite thing to do on Wednesday at noon. ----- It's now 2023, and I'm now a member at Shala yoga loft. In October of 2022 I purchased a $40 two week unlimited, and I'm so glad I did! It allowed me to try all the different classes which helped me decide if Shala was the place for me. I now go to as many classes as I'm physically able to go to. I love the variety of classes that are offered and the uniqueness of each of the instructors. I honestly believe that Shala's yoga instructors are the best. They are all very kind and extremely knowledgeable. I also LOVE the choice of chilled or heated lavender towel at the end.

Since my very first session, I have healed and flourished in ways I never imagined I could. I initially resorted to hypnosis simply as a means to lose weight, as I have had a pretty rough 5 years. However, the 30 pounds I have lost and kept off over Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and NYE now feel like the most insignificant changes in myself, considering all the other major pieces I have put into motion. It is not possible, unless I write a short-story of my own, to put into a simple review how many ways Cal has helped me find my purpose.
