Thank you to Dr Lilly and all of the staff at Lilly PT!…read more I first found your PT office, right here on Yelp. I had mostly constant leg pain, sitting or standing, and was skeptical from having already gone to a commercial/corporate PT establishment, with little success. Your office was out of network and I was concerned about the cost and in the end maybe still not having any answers or pain relief. I am so happy now that I took the chance and moved forward with your PT plan! September was the first time in about 8 months that I had some solid pain relief and a more positive future outlook. Thank you all for that! I appreciated that you all did not just give me exercises and send me home to do them. The hands on work in the office, adjusting the exercises for what I needed at that point, red light therapy and the Softwave all contributed to where I am now....which includes being able to stand up with crying out in pain. Lilly Phyiscal Therapy helped me tremendously and I hope that this review can help someone else looking for a PT office (and some help & hope) like I was.

The staff at IRG was friendly, and tried to be helpful, but the physical therapist assigned to help me assigned exercises that didn't help. Some of them made the pain worse. He didn't use the feedback to further his assessment of the problem. An MRI, xrays, and surgeon's consultation later revealed more information about the cause of my pain, and why the therapy IRG prescribed initially was not successful. but I don't have confidence in IRG's therapist's ability to use the new information to create an appropriate program. The facilities are also unpleasant and crowded.

I am submitting a review in order to explain why I have left IRG - Harbor Square Physical Therapy…read more This is my third time to need PT for a long process of healing two knee replacements. I first went to the office across the parking lot from Swedish Edmonds Hospital. I'm quite sure it was not called IRG then. It was a wonderful experience. Then after the left knee had to be redone due to infection, they had moved the facility to the Edmonds waterfront at Harbor Square. Many of the people who worked in upper Edmonds moved down there as well. Again, a perfect situation. Now, recently, after my third surgery to replace my right knee I quickly registered and got a referral for IRG-Harbor Square again, expecting the same kind atmosphere. But what a surprise! It is still IRG but with all new therapists. In all my time spent in hospitals for these knee issues and Physical therapy I have ALWAYS been treated with absolute respect and in a pleasant and encouraging atmosphere. This time I was assigned to Erin and I thought things started out OK but what a nightmare it became. When I tried to engage with her and have a smile and pleasant conversations with her she reminded me that she was a Licensed Therapist and did not have time to listen to me talk about the tulips in Mt.Vernon and say Good Morning, Thank You or anything else pleasant. Apparently Licensed Therapists are also unable to take a moment to smile. I advised her that I was hard of hearing and was sorry I had to ask for some things to be repeated. I hope to get hearing aids soon. So due to my not hearing exactly what she said sometimes she just SCREAMED my name at the top of her lungs, as well as the instructions of what to do next. I have to say I have never ever been treated with such disrespect from anyone in the medical field. I always mention how much I appreciate those who work with the public to try and help them recover. I told her that as well but she was not interested in my chit-chat. (Licensed Therapist, you know.) I don't know if it's just me she treats this way or everyone she doesn't like. The other people in the office are always pleasant. No matter what happens in the future I will never go back to IRG-Harbor Square. I'm sure that will please her to no end. I did receive a couple of email requests to rate my experience.

1 star I tried to…read morebecome a new patient at MTI Physical Therapy in Edmonds, but the communication experience was poor enough that I decided to look elsewhere. I repeatedly tried calling during their posted business hours and was unable to get anyone to answer the phone. Instead, I would receive text messages from the office when it was convenient for them. I responded and provided the information they requested, but they still failed to follow through and get back to me about becoming a patient. What bothered me most was that I was actively trying to give them my business and communicating during their own documented business hours, yet I could not have a normal phone conversation with someone or get a timely response after providing the requested information. I can't comment on the quality of their physical therapy because I never got far enough in the process to become a patient. This review is specifically about the new-patient communication and intake experience. Based on that experience, I did not feel that they were particularly interested in earning my business.

Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, she is professional, and extremely personable. She genuinely cares about people and takes pride in her work. You hit the jackpot if she is your first contact as she was my husband's who called the facility on my behalf to research the level of skill and credentials at Axis because I had been to a previous PT who only has two Masters degrees so was not a DPT. After several months, I left without success and physically worse off. I was weary and leery of starting anew. I made the right choice going to Axis because every DPT is highly credentialed and I improved! If you have a lot of questions or concerns regarding this facility and staff, be assured they will help you. Everyone I encountered was very well trained. I had the best aide I have ever had! I do not exaggerate. Her name is Kat. She is currently working toward a Doctorates in Physical Therapy. Her degrees are in Kinesiology and Psychology which make her an excellent aide! Once she receives her DPT her talent will soar as she will combine her knowledge of kinesiology and psychology. As an aide, she had the education of how important proper body mechanics and movement is for pain relief and pain management as our limitations affect all areas of life. Kat is very professional and has more knowledge than any PTA that has ever helped me. She knew how to help me without hesitation. I felt vey confident in her ability. Axis is very accommodating. I asked to work with a female. I worked with two female DPTs, Lia and Jessica. Axis has two DPTs work together, alternating sessions, to make sure they have a more complete understanding of a patient's needs and condition each bringing their own expertise. I was uncomfortable at first because I had only worked with one DPT or PT. I didn't understand why two different people were working with me. They were both very different and very helpful. Two people have better eyes on a patient than one. I had no strength in my transverse abdominal muscles when I first started. I went twice a week and was very vigilant with my home exercises. To my surprise I improved very fast! Axis Physical Therapy is very well run and the staff are a very friendly team.

After being brushed off, by an overpriced orthopedic doctor.....I had a very bad fall, he finally agreed I needed more than an Amazon brace. Referred here. Dr. Jessica is amaze-balls. She looks so sweet, but brought the pain. It was awful, seriously. I had bruises constantly on that leg/ankle area. As she promised, if I stuck with it, I'd be able to avoid surgery and it would help. I trusted her, got through the pain. Followed her home exercises and 6 months later I'm feeling a lot better. I'd recommend her and the staff to anyone looking for quality physical therapy, not a pill to numb the pain.
