If I could give negative stars, I would. Took it to these guys after my catalytic got stolen. I had it replaced and new oxygen sensors put on. I continued to have problems. Took it in, they found leaks which they said caused the oxygen sensors to go bad and would likely need a new catalytic converter. They had my car for a month and a half. I kept calling asking for updates and same excuse, that the parts had not arrived. FINALLY, they said the part arrived and ready to be picked up. I paid them $2000, leave their shop, make my first left turn and the check engine light came on. So I take it back in, they have my car for another couple weeks, say they fixed it and check engine lights comes on immediately as I leave their lot. I paid $2000 for them to fix it so I continue taking it back a few more times with hopes that I didn't waste my money. I give up. I've been out of a car, in total, for 4 months since I initially took it in and basically flushed $2k down the toilet. They didn't even have the courtesy to inflate my tires when I picked it up the last time. STAY AWAY from this place. read more

Mr. Handley is the best mechanic I've ever taken my car to. He is friendly and not condescending at all. Some places I've gone I felt talked down to because I'm a woman. Mr. Handley is a very friendly person and acted like he's known me forever. A very down-to-earth man who is genuine and authentic. When my car needs repair I'm definitely going to Handley's. He got right on the problem and fixed it quickly. read more

Very honest, professional, and experienced. I own several older vehicles and I've been around the block working on cars myself so I know when I'm being tested well by a shop. Bob Handley and his team are the real deal. Tons of experience, reasonable solutions, and great service. They can meet almost any need you have for a vehicle old or new. Highly recommended. read more

Highly recommend. Bob is one of the good, honest ones left. Easy to work with, flexible and honest.

Bob takes pride in his work and has always had a solution to our problems! Would definitely recommend for any automobile issue

I can't thank Mr. Handley and his team enough! My Check engine light was on and my air conditioner stopped working. Ford quoted me $2700 for a whole AC replacement so I just gave up on the idea of having air conditioning again and went all last summer without it. My husband started delivery driving this week and he was so miserable I convinced myself to shell out the money to have it fixed, but also wanted a second opinion. I chose Handley's mostly because of the proximity to my house and also the great reviews. I'll just say that my check engine light is not on anymore and my air conditioning is blowing cold again and all it cost me was $375! Thank you to the entire Handley's team!! read more

My car's A/C went out 2 days before a month long trip from South Lake Tahoe, to Arizona, and all the way up to Alaska. By the time we were rolling into Bakersfield, we were on the verge of heat stroke and couldn't take it anymore. I called Handleys and they diagnosed it, flushed the system and repaired it to full capacity within the hour. I could not recommend this shop enough-they were the epitome of everything we could have asked for from a repair shop. Thank you guys so much!! read more

My family has been taking our vehicles to Bob Handley for many years. He is honest, reliable, and has fair prices. Best mechanic in town.

Never responded to my request. I don't think he was interested in this difficult engine repair.

Straight forward service and pricing. Very responsive and great communication. Thanks Bob. Highly recommend.

Thought I hit the jackpot here at Handleys. Bob was super nice with not charging me to look at my car and try to find the problem, he referred me to bobs muffler and they said I had a fuel trim issue and to take it back to Handleys. After dropping my car off he calls me the next day saying it's my upstream 02 sensor. I knew there was literally no work involved because the cover was already off of the 02 sensor so all he needed to do was take it off and put the new one on. A job I could have done in 10 min. I also already knew the price of an O2 sensor at AutoZone to go anywhere from $60-$130 so when I get to Handleys he tells me it's 250$ for the part and 150$ for the labor he literally charged me $415 to do like 10 minutes of work. I only have 300 on me because I did not think that it woulid cost that much. So I'm driving back home and not even five minutes later my check engine light comes on. so he literally charge me $415 or what? I decided to not even take my car back here because I could not even believe charge that much and not even fix the problem. I explained to him how I was ripped off by the person who sold me the car to just get ripped off again. Super disappointed and broke with an illegal car that can't pass smog. Thanks Handley's. read more

Best customer service I've seen in many years. Mr. Handley actually cares about those who bring their broken rides to him... Unlike many shops, females are treated as human beings who might actually have a brain! Highly recommended. read more

Bob is the real deal, no BS. He has kept my F150 alive as well as my old BMW. He won't say anything unnecessary needs to be fixed and he doesn't try to up sell you like the big chain places. The guy has been around the area forever and I won't go anywhere else! read more

This shop is great. Bob is honest, and a great mechanic. You can't ask for more than that. We won't take our vehicles anywhere else!!

Many years ago, on a recommendation from a friend, I brought my older Plymouth to Bob for misc.repairs and since have never thought to bring it elsewhere. When the Plymouth was replaced with my current newer import car I didn't think Bob would want to work on it, but I was mistaken. He has literally saved me thousands of $$$'s with good advise on maintenance and reasonable repair costs. read more

This is the bestest place in town if you need your car, truck or etc worked on. He is the most honest man that I know. In fact the other day I had to take my van down and get a mirror put on for me. He took the door apart and took off the old mirrior and installled the new one and put everything back together just like new. I asked him how much. He said not Charge. I was ready to pay him He said today is a freeebie. That saved me about a $100.00. Will not take my vehicles any where else but to him. Harold/Drug Tester #1 read more
