These gentlemen, Rodrigo, Rigo, and Jose are the most efficient and helpful workers I have ever encountered on any job. They were fast when painting the house, destroyed nothing, no plants or walkways were oversprayed, and the work they did looks great. In addition, they were quiet and very friendly, and helpful when a question arose. After getting 3 estimates, their pricing was the best. And, they used a great quality paint, not a contractor's grade. If they work the same for you, you will assuredly be most pleased. I see by their advertised work description that they do several other things like drywall, etc. I will definitely call them again when something is needed.

In 2014 we had Art and his crew come paint the entire interior of my house which came out amazing!, and then in 2019 I hired Art to come and help me paint the exterior of my house, both are pictured in this yelp review. Definitely one of the best companies I've ever worked with in construction in recent years. Very reliable, professional and clean. Very good recommendation from my family friend, and now is the only painter I will call. Thanks Art for coming out and finishing the exterior of my house. I definitely bit off more than I could chew.

Great work, when not faced with staffing issues. Greg, the owner, is highly personable, but can be…read morereally difficult to work with. Shaun, an employee, is really nice too, and is very good at his job, but inconsistent. I hired ProTec for two other jobs prior, and I was happy with the outcome. However, on the third job, towards the end, I was awaiting for the shipment of a murphy bed, and asked that notches be left in the baseboard for the murphy bed. Shaun convinced me that it would be better to install the baseboards after the murphy bed was built/installed, and that he would come on a weekend to complete the job. Shaun left early that day from the job, and I haven't been able to schedule a time with him since. That was over 2 weeks ago. I called Greg to follow up. He got aggressive and yelled "I'm done with you" on the phone. I said "let's try to work things out." Eventually, Greg calmed down and he agreed to call in several days with Shaun's availability. He also explained that he would charge me for the extra day, so the cost of this incomplete job went up. It has been a week since Greg agreed to get back to me. Also, scheduling is really challenging with Protec too. Greg always tells you he will get back to you on scheduling, but often forgets to and sometimes just shows up. He'll then say "either we do the job today or you'll have to wait 2 to 3 weeks," not leaving you a whole lot of options. Sometimes he will also forget what was discussed for the job. I have had to show him the itemized contract to remind him what work needed to be done. They did just hire a secretary, so maybe these are no longer issues.

Greg the owner was very professional and did exactly what he said he was going to do. He applied 2 coats of paints as promised and used the paint he said he would use. Considering how badly the paint was chipping off the wood while it was being sanded, Emily who works the office, who also was a pleasure to work with, made sure that the mess created was cleaned up once the job was completed. Since we have some frequent winds in Fontana which was blowing the chips into our pool while the work was being performed they made sure chips were removed from there as well. As a company I feel they went far beyond my expectations. Very pleased.
