The facility offers everything from steam rooms, saunas, the Dead Sea salt hot pool, the hot Epsom salt pool, to the cold water plunge pool. There are instructions everywhere - on the walls and in the lockers - telling you the next step in the process. It's very customer-friendly! What stands out is that the facilities are state of the art. The Dead Sea salt pool even has massage water jets, and the water quality is tested several times a day. I personally saw a staff member testing the water quality! This is great for anyone with a cleanliness obsession. Two final points: this is a women-only space, and phones are not allowed. The photos I've shared are from the official website, which maintains a high level of privacy. The service is excellent and the place is incredibly clean! Upon entering, you are asked to fill out a medical history form, and they inquire if you need any medical accommodations. Such thoughtful and considerate service!

The sauna was barely warm. The main pool was luke warm; albeit relaxing to move in, as I was the only one using it. The supposed "hot" pool was not warmer than my hottub at home that we keep at 104, so must've only been around 101 my guess. And yes, the 2 other women that were there were chatting up a storm, so not your relaxing, spa type environment. The staff, though, were very kind and helpful. I'd say if you have time and the same amount of money, head an hour east to Thermea spa, which is well worth the time and money!

Their Hammam Turkish Bath, and body treatments are also a treat. They provide you with a turkish wrap, robe, towels, and flip-flops for your visit so you don't need need bring too much with you on your visit. The use of their co-ed eucalyptus oil infused stream room (great for couples) is also complimentary with most services over $100. The exception are mainly a few facials as this can make your skin sensitive for the treatment. NEGATIVES: my experience here the past couple of years has been mixed, as the service is not as consistent as it used to be, the prices inflated quite a bit, and a lot of the staff appears to be changing more frequently than it used to. My rating for Hammam Spa fluctuates mostly between 3 and 4 based on my visits since the end of 2021 to the present. While the renovation is nice, the spa feels a little less cozy than it used to. I've also had a period of terrible service (with treatments and online orders) around the end of 2021 to early 2022, which made me take a break from this place, but things have improved since. They also recently replaced their plush white robes with shorter, thin robes made in the same fabric as their turkish wraps.

The entrance to the women's washroom was right at the entrance. Like I'm talking while I'm barely clothed in a towel, people with their winter jackets can make eye contact with me from a few meters away. Then the change rooms. Man they are so tiny. No shoe racks. No private change areas. If you go to change in the washroom there's no where to hang anything. Very underwhelming. Steam room was 10/10. We got a facial and it was pretty good. The girl who was doing my facial was nice and seemed professional but when I brought up some items specific to my skin she didn't seem to do anything about that or change her service in anyway. Up until now I was fine, until I went to use the amenities. In the shower was something really concerning and disgusting. I don't have it in me to say what it was but I think it would really have an impact on their business. I jumped out and didn't shower. I told staff who said she'd telling her manager. She was nice and young but brushed it off a bit because it is an ongoing issue. I immediately left and missed out on using amenities I paid for. I told the girl at reception and she said "ya we know, it's normal this time of year" and slapped me in a bill. Honestly a manager should have came out and talked toe directly. I can't help but think if I was someone else, if they would treat the situation differently. Believe me if rich, society types saw what I saw, grantee someone would have spoke to me.

I'm so glad I was able to do two sessions here and honestly, I think about this place every day. The guides here are so special. The concept of other ship is contrast therapy: there is sauna, and cold plunge. But it's unlike any contrast therapy I've done. It's a 75 minute class where you go in and your swimsuit and it's coed. You take part in a version of Aufguss - a sauna where they break balls of ice infused with delicious essential oils. I took a Gacha class where you do lymphatic drainage and then I also took a heart opener class. They also have free flow where there's no guide. The cold plunge is really special - you get paired up but if the class is small you can go alone. I've cold plunged a lot, and this experience transformed me. I was able to stay really, really calm and have a euphoric experience. The guides also use a tuning fork after the cold plunge to get you to calm the nervous system. The shower and changing room is not ideal for anyone that wants to go about their day after the experience but other than that, I wish I lived in Toronto to do this daily. The staff is also super friendly. They gave me their signature incense for my first visit. I love, love this place.

It's not just a sauna and ice bath facility, but a place that fosters community and inclusivity and a sanctuary for when you need to get away from the stresses of life (or when you need to relieve all that stress). The facility and it's staff, along with other participants, provides a safe and welcoming space for you to let go and look inward where you feel like a completely different person once you finish your session or class. I have always been interested to try Othership but was afraid to take the first step. I was able to try one of their guided classes recently as I received a free credit. I booked a deep stretch guided class around noon mid-week. Not knowing what to expect I went in with an open mind, allowing myself to explore and be curious about the experience, as well as try new things. Prior to the class, I probably was most anxious about the cold plunge part of the class. Upon entering Othership, you are greeted by staff where you are checked in. I did tell staff it was my first time there and they gave me a tour of the space. I was also given a wristband to wear, indicating that I was a first timer there - this is done so that it is easier for the instructor to identify the newcomers in the group, just in case we needed extra guidance or direction. Facility wise, Othership is a nice sanctuary in the city. The changerooms aren't terribly big but they do have private change rooms you can utilize. There are lockers you can store your belongings and shoes are not allowed in the sauna/cold plunge area. They provide you with 2 towels and there is tea as well as water (and cups) available. The bathrooms are at the very back past the cold plunge area. In regards to my class, we were able to settle in and the instructor explained the guided class and what we would be doing as we settled on the couches. She was aware that many of us were first timers in the class, knowing that we would be anxious about the cold plunge. She told us to embrace our own journey, with the understanding that everyone is starting at different places with different levels of experience. This pre-class talk was quite reassuring and I felt a sense of comfort sharing this experience with others, knowing that we were in this together. In the guided deep stretch class, we were first in the sauna for about 25-30 min where we did a series of breathwork and stretching, focusing on different parts of our body. The sauna was quite hot after a while and I was dripping sweat but the focus on the breath was a key factor in managing how I was feeling and the heat. After the sauna we were split into 2 groups where we did the cold plunge for 2 min (prior to the plunge you have to rinse off your body using the communal showers). I was so nervous about this part of the class but I was able to stay submerged for the whole 2 min. Having a focus on your breathwork was crucial. After the cold plunge we all gathered in the sauna again where we did several more breathworks and had a sharing portion to the class where we could talk about our experience if we wanted to. Last 15 min of class we were invited to do another cold plunge, stay in the sauna, or relax and drink tea/water. Overall, I had an amazing first experience at Othership. Will definitely return to try more guided classes in the future!

Truly an unforgettable experience at Spa myBlend!…read more We treated ourselves to the Floating on a Cloud Together experience, which consisted of a 90 minute couples massage and 30 minute private time in the spa room to lounge around, shower/bathe and enjoy the complementary bubbly. Note this experience must be booked over the phone. We were given all day access to their swimming pool, sauna, co-ed lounge and other spa facilities. From the moment we walked in to the Ritz hotel we were greeted warmly and guided towards the elevator at the back of the lobby which leads to the spa located on the fifth floor. After checking in for our appointment, we were given health forms to fill out. Shortly after, one of the spa staff led me to the ladies changing room and gave me a tour of the facilities, and introduced me to my RMT. She noticed my hair was down so she provided me a hair tie before I begun changing into the robe and slippers that were provided. Such detailed oriented service! We were led to our massage room, which was darkly lit. Both our RMTs asked us to pick out of one of the three essential oils for the massage. Then, the foot bath and massage ensued. So relaxing! After this, we were led to the heated massage tables for the full body massage. The temperature can be adjusted if you find it too warm and they are also happy to adjust the volume on the peaceful music playing in the background. Before I knew it, 90 minutes was up. It indeed felt like we were floating on a cloud together in the end. So peaceful and relaxed. Our RMTs brought us glasses of Prosecco and snacks. They advised us the bath takes too slow to draw and showers are ideal if we wanted to take it. I tested out the bath and the water did run too slow. Note if you shower they have the Clarins soap (which I think is different from the regular soap used in the showers in the change rooms). Anyway, we enjoyed our time hanging around after our massage on our own. It was a special experience! Once our appointment was complete, we chilled in the lounge, where they have complementary snacks and magazines for you to read. We brought our bathing suits so we went across to the swimming pool and jacuzzi (which requires an access card from the spa reception). From the jacuzzi you can get a view of the CN tower. We went back to the spa change rooms after to shower, but unfortunately there were no heated towels left in the men's changing room. After the shower there is an area for you to get ready in the washrooms or change room, with a Dyson hair dryer, hair comb, lotion, hair spray, deodorant and more. If you need a straightener or curling iron you can ask the staff. Perfect set up if you're looking to dress up after your spa date! Overall, I highly recommend the spa at the Ritz. It's priced high, but the value and quality of the service you receive makes up for it. Worth going at least once for the five star spa day experience.

For my husband's birthday, I was excited to take him from our home in NYC to Toronto. On our last day there, following so many great reviews online, I booked in advance your spa on 3/4/25. Every other part of our experience in Toronto was beyond exceptional! While the spa itself seemed great and we enjoyed our very expensive massages, I was following all of the spa rules, including bathing in the jacuzzi, sauna, and steamroom area with a bathing suit. After my bathing suit was wet, I used the same bathrobe in the co-ed area that everyone else was using to read with my husband. A woman who works there came up to the public area, where there were several other bathers, about 6 to 7, and spoke very indiscreetly that I had been getting complaints from a fellow spa member. She said it very loudly and aggressively and even though I never broke any spa rules and wasn't at the time of this encounter. I immediately was confused, and asked "wait, someone complained about me or my husband?" I was so confused because I was following the spa rules, and if she had looked at me, she would have seen that I was not naked nor breaking any rules. I started crying immediately out of horror. We had been there for less than 2 hours. I told the staff person we would leave immediately, because of how horrified I was by how I was being treated by her. The staff person said, "I'm sorry," but had taken the tattler's word as fact and did not ask me a single question. making it an extremely upsetting encounter for me. I left to go to the front desk with the person who helped us originally and seemed really nice. I was crying, which I don't usually do. I told her exactly what had happened, that I was following the spa rules and had been "shamed out of the space" pretty aggressively by the woman employee. I explained that it was my husband's birthday and there was nothing relaxing about this, and how much we had paid to be shamed and mistreated despite following every rule. You need to train your staff about privacy and how to handle these incidents. As a fellow clinic and business owner, and any time I have worked for other institutions, my main concern is people's satisfaction. I was crying harder than I have ever cried in public and her main concern was that I pay for the services. Again this reaction shocked me. We were on the street in the cold thereafter for the rest of the day for an inappropriate shaming accusation. The person at the front desk explained that her manager would call me that same day (and never did). I spent the next several calling the manager who never was able to call me back. I am filing a complaint with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. I was frankly shocked by this on every level. --
