In the two hours we spent together (she was very generous with her time), we went through a series of breathing and movement activities, supported by props and her expert eye, and even learned several techniques with which to gift each other the relaxation of massage in the years to come! Of all the experiences we had the privilege of enjoying during our time on this island, this one stands out for the personal connection Pua La'a fostered, the persistence of the knowledge she shared with us, and the individuality of the programming she put together. Through the combination of a gorgeous, serene environment, her many years of hard-earned yogic knowledge, and an unmistakably empathetic and kind spirit, Pua La'a will reward your willingness to step outside the box with that elusive goal of every life traveler: the creation of a beautiful, personal, and unreproducible memory. We would return every week if we lived on Kauai.

The reason I prefer KTI is because of its Gracie affiliation; they specialize in self defense for real life situations, not just rolling/competitions. I highly recommend this school and hope that more females come and check it out!
