Korean in Milan? A few minutes to walk to from the Duomo, it sounded like a nice change of pace from having pasta all week. Baanchaan was just ok. Galbi quality had too much inedible fat. Naengmyeon ~ diluted watery soup base. No buckwheat noodle available either. Jjigae was basic, no depth to the broth. Just one selection of Korean beer & soju. Oddly, where the noise level is to be expected in this full capacity restaurant in the middle of Milan, we were told to keep it down? Oddly, though we have clearly ordered over $500 and wanting to order more, the waiter came around saying we needed to hurry finishing our dinner and leave because of other tables waiting? Overall ~ subpar Korean joint anywhere else in the U.S. but the only game in town here in Milan with a prime location. read more

I was dying for something other then Italian food then i saw this restaurant, the instant I walked in I know that it is a good restaurant because natives were eating in it, it made me think that they serve truly authentic food. Not recommend! I order the spicy noodle and rice cake and ask the waiter to make it not too spicy, then the dish they cooked is like the picture... totally different! They explain to me that they use the "less spicy source". Come on... are you kidding me?! Weird dish... weird waiter... and weird restaurant.... read more

Tired of Italian so we wanted some Korean food to try it out. Any 4-5 star reviews are LIES!!!! Do NOT BELIEVE! The cashier will choke you if you say his food f**** sucks. So we tried this Korean Restaurant based on Yelp and Google reviews! It's all a LIE! The Korean food is absolutely atrocious! So let me begin with this review- the Korean Side dishes are inedible! The Korean Kimchee is overly fermented and Luke warm. The egg side dish tastes like an old shoe. Then we ordered Korean Pan-cake-WTF it's not cooked at all it's doughy. And the kimchee Kimbap tastes like old veggies put together. I ordered the dengjeng (Miso) Korean soup. What the hell is this crap?? It tastes like water with soybean paste. Literally like sewage boiled water. I had them take it back. The pancake sauce is jacked up! The recipe is incorrect! The Korean Ginseng tea is f***** garbage! It's like some cheap packet you get from Chinatown. The bottle water looks nice but is toilet water with a pretty bottle look. Service has most Asian people who can't speak Korean. My recommendation do NOT come here! It's utter Korean garbage and waste of money... if I can cook better korean food then it's a problem. I am 100% Korean and eat Korean food all the time in Korea and home dinners! This is some of the worst if not the worst Korean food I have had in my life! The Korean guy Cashier comes outside after I said his f**** food sucks. He heard me say that and he walks outside and then tries to choke me outside (witness). And then tries to push me because I kept saying I don't his food was god awful. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!Just don't want to go this restaurant again!!!! Their service were terribly awful...we went with our dog and they let us enter in the first time. Then when we prepared to order, another dog in the restaurant started barking and then make our dog barked...the manager came, took away the menu and just let us out!! Without any reason and apology!!!so why they let us in in the first place and why they don't let another dog out too??????it was a serious problem about their service and I need the apology for this!! read more

Found this amazing place in central Milano. Not far from the Duomo and very easy to locate. Once we walked in, we found the place booked and had to wait for the table. The owner / manager offered us glass of champagne for our wait time. Amazing... it was most thoughtful and came as a surprise. The table was ready pretty quick and was seated while still enjoying the complimentary champ. Food is great and clean. Authentic Korean food that we enjoyed very much. Went back the next day for carry out to take back to our hotel~~~ for our last night in Milan. Thank you so much and will return again. read more

We came here on our hotel's recommendation when we asked for a Korean or Japanese restaurant (we were getting tired of eating Italian meals every night). This restaurant is easy to find, very close to the Duomo, and they were open relatively early compared to most restaurants in Italy, many of which don't open until 7:30 pm. For the first half hour while we were there, all the people who trickled in to the restaurant were Asian. We read that as a good sign. By the time we left, all tables were filled! Service was very fast; we got our food pretty quickly. All dishes were delicious. My brother, who lives on the edge of Koreatown in LA, frequents the best Korean restaurants LA has to offer and thought the food at Hana was good albeit it had a limited menu compared to the wider offering he is used to. We stuck with bebimbap, chap chae, dumplings, sliced beef, etc -- pretty common Korean dishes you can find anywhere. And now after that meal my daughter declares that Korean food is her favorite cuisine! read more

My mother and I ordered Jjambbong and Bossam. Jjambbong was terrible. I've never seen Jjambbong with a bunch of Kimchi in it. Kimchi should not be put in such dish. Too much pepper powder made its taste not clean and it tasted like Kimchi Jjigae (other dish). Not at all worth paying 16 euros for this. Bossam was rather small for the price we paid. The quality of those dishes is under the average, definitely. Also, the male cashier (looked like an owner) was rather rude to my mother's feedback on food. He ignored my mother's question that asks if they put Kimchi in Jjambbong. I should've had lunch in an Italian restaurant. read more

I was really thankful to find this place on my visit to Milan. I only had European/American food for the last 7 days and it was about time to crave Korean food. As a Korean native, I always try to have at least 1 Korean dish per day and I couldn't get any since it was my first time visit to Europe and there were no Korean restaurants in other cities I have visited. Since I was in Milan, I tried to search for Korean restaurants near Duomo plaza. Hana restaurant came up on my search and it was right by the Duomo plaza. It was very easy to find this place and it looked really nice/modern from outside so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I entered restaurant, I was welcomed and seated right away! They had variety of Korean dishes on their menu and I ordered bibimbab and bean paste stew. Food came out in a reasonable time and it looked very authentic. My food was served in hot stone bowl which kept my food warm for a long time and it was very tasty! It was like finding oasis in the middle of nowhere. I strongly recommend this restaurants if you want to try real Korean food. read more
