I'm pretty certain I heard angels sing when I read the sign. So instead of buying one pair, I got two. :) Got a pair of women's Nike's (gray and pink) super comfy and the price was actually really decent. Also picked up a pair of New Balances (purple and blue) as a back up pair. Because who can have too many pairs of shoes?!? And they were 1/2 off which made the deal even sweeter. Overall, the check out guy was super friendly and efficient. Only dropping it down a star because I found an awesome pair of sandals (that I really wanted to buy) but they didn't have my size. (Sad face)

As I shopped around, I couldn't really find any conservative, comfortable heels under $120. So I decided to try Shoe Carnival before I purchased the pricey shoes at Belk. To my surprise, they carry a wide assortment of shoes. Brand name flats, tennis shoes, and even flip flops were offered. The sales associate was very helpful greeting me and asking me if I need help. She directed me to the general area of dress shoes. I was in and out in under 5 minutes and under $40. I found some lovely Life Stride patent pumps that had an additional discount. Not something I would normally pick but hey, but I wasn't really in the position to be too picky. Turned out they were very comfortable and sharp looking with my suit. Disaster averted- yay! I highly recommend stopping in here and checking out their assortment, especially if you're looking to save a little cash.

Thinking about getting back into running again after about 16 years away from it. Right as you enter the door there is a signboard where you can right your name and then they will come get you when a salesperson is available. I didn't have to wait long at all. Next they have you stand on a scanning machine followed by measuring your stride on a short strip on the floor that does just that. The salesman who helped me was very knowledgeable and I learned stuff about my feet that blew my mind. He brought out three different pairs of shoes and I got to try them on and walk around with them. I ended up getting a pair of Brooks. I was very pleased with my purchase and will look into running programs in the near future that they offer on their website. Highly recommend this establishment!

Nothing fancy but wanted to give her a relatively nice set of ear rings for her Birthday and I've been so swamped, did not have time to do much shopping. I was in Kohl's on Saturday and looked at the Jewelry counter and they had exactly what I wanted and to make it better, they were on sale and they gave me an extra discount. In the end, I got a nice set of ear rings for about 1/3 of the original price and a young lady on her 15th Birthday was thrilled. Great service in this department.
