The museum is full of historic information and articles to view. One of the coolest part of the experience is being able to board the USS Wisconsin, even for someone like me, a wheelchair user. I was able to tour the deck and check out many areas of the ship. The docents and museum personnel were friendly and knowledgeable when anyone had a question or wanted to know more of the history of "Old Whisky" I am a naval history buff and the chance to be able to get on a ship that helped the US in WWII, it was a treat. Whether you are visiting Norfolk for a long or short visit, put this historic Navy battleship!

Bryan was very helpful in getting us set up (and also kept asking if we could handle 2 hours haha). The next morning we met up with the tour guide Will at 840am and signed the waiver before starting the tour at 9am. Will was very helpful in getting us situated and starting to paddle. My boyfriend's kayaked once but this was my first time and it wasn't bad! Will provided some ecosystem information but unfortunately we didn't see any dolphins (he said there were 6 or 7 who lived in the area). We finally saw three or four dolphin fins in the water once we reached the dock and unloaded at 11am, the end of the tour. Unfortunately most of the time was spent either paddling or trying to spot dolphins so not too much conversation was made during the tour but it was still interesting and fun for my first time. Hopefully if we get another chance to come down to VA, we can see the dolphins and enjoy another tour. Pro tip is to wear waterproof shorts because your butt and legs get wet. Also bring a towel in the car and make sure to put lots of sunscreen on before the tour. Our tour was July 6th 9am to 11am and it was hella nice til 10am when the sun greeted us veeeeery well. A hat would help!

We caught about 25 croakers(?) but people around us caught many more, someone even caught a shark. Ryan and Nick the first mates were really knowledgeable and personable. They helped us identify fish, cut our bait, and chatted with us throughout the night. They both helped make this fishing experience amazing. The Captain introduced himself and the boat at the start, communicated with us as the night went on and most importantly kept us level when the currents got a little rough. There were about 20 people fishing with us so the only downfall of this trip was some of our lines kept getting tangled which was likely user error. We will definitely be back to try out the early morning fishing trip.

Finally spoke to Collin and planned out everything and received confirmation to arrive at Blue Water Yachting club by 9am. June 4th arrived and my party of 30 people loaded our shuttle and arrived to the yachting club at 8:45AM. No yacht to be found we starting trying to get ahold of Collin and Captain Rob with no success. Click & Boat couldn't get a hold of anyone from this business. We spend the next 90 mins trying to find the yacht and calling all the numbers we had. We ended up having to re-load the shuttle and spent the day at the beach. We still have not heard from anyone. Hundreds dollars of food and decorations were wasted. One of the worst experiences ever.

She worked closely with me to find activities that were both interesting & fun, while staying within my budget. I think most agents would have encouraged me to take a cruise but I much prefer to spend my time experiencing the culture & the people, doing walking tours, kayaking, & spending time exploring. Gretchen really listened & built an amazing trip!! Although it's taken me quite a while to write this review, I think she deserves the highest recommendation for her tireless efforts to provide a smooth travel experience. She was happy to answer any questions & even provided me a detailed printed & electronic itinerary. Since I was traveling alone, I relied completely upon her expertise. Gretchan worked with us for months planning flights, seats, hotels, location, tours, eurostar train tickets. Our trip was US to Germany to London and home. Gretchen made us an itinerary printed everything had it all in order with the exact airline seats, class of tickets/seats and followed any airline changes. She collected all the tickets for tours and any tickets we needed printed them and mailed them in a packet to us. She followed our trip via email to make sure we had everything, and things were going as planned. She made sure we had travel insurance and a checklist of everything we needed to take care of for international travel. She is very well educated and prepared. She truly cared that our trip was exactly as we imagined and dreamed of. I would recommend her to, not just anyone, but everyone! I am not a friend or family member. This review is from a real customer. I have already begun to plan a cruise for next year with her.
