Brandon Ahrens 1/5 just now on Google My daughter and I had reserved a room at this location on October 19, 2024 as we were attending a concert that evening in Charlotte and did not want to drive back in the middle of the night. UNFORTUNATELY, that is exactly what we did. After checking in to room 321, we found a bloody, fluid soaked towel in-between the box spring and mattress. It had been there so long that the towel was compressed. The comforter also has a blood type stain on it as well as the cushion on the couch. Dead carpet beetles were a long the baseboards and bed areas. Photos were taken and I immediately went back to the front desk ( who were polite and embarrassed by the condition of the room) and apologized for these issues. They said that they are so tired of housekeeping not cleaning the rooms properly. I asked for a new comforter in which the housekeeping gave a slip cover for it and said to just put it on over the comforter. That is when I went back to the front desk and said that we will be checking out of this hotel And we're forced to drive back in the middle of the night. Since then customer service at the hotel and with Hilton has been horrible full of lies and a lack of responsibility and accountability. Not only has the Hilton hotel brand done. Nothing. The Rock Hill manager Gerald Miller contacted us and did nothing at resolving the issues as well. My family and I generally stay at Hampton inns anytime we vacation stay as most of the time there are good quality rooms but not at this location

Stop here quite often, as we travel by car quite often from Florida to Pennsylvania (and back) and this is about half way. Much like every Hampton Inn, this location is clean, curtious, get free WiFi and a free breakfast. We are Hilton people, and are big fans of Hampton Inns. They give you everything you need. Even a free newspaper. We don't use any of the other amenities - pool, gym, laundry, business room - but they are there. They have a big parking lot. We always park in the back as we are pulling a trailer/boat most of the time.

Mini fridge was one of the larger ones with a freezer compartment - great if you need to refreeze cold packs while traveling.

She also cleaned and sanitized the breakfast eating area which was a blessing because I have been in some that you had to turn around and run away from. The room was clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be staying here when our travels send us close to this area. Keep up the great work !!

Dozens of times until the 15 minute window closed. Waited 15 minutes, tried again. Same. Called directly. Manager took my phone number and room request. Promised to call back. Half hour later, I went to booking.com. 3 tries later it went through. Told this to receptionist on check-in and was told the person who I spoke with was manager!?! Hotel is clean, room looked nice. However, sink was cracked. And then the clunking started. We heard something in the bathroom that sounded like it was randomly hitting the walls. It wasn't long, and stopped, so we laughed and went to sleep. At 5.45 the next morning, someone took a shower and it wasn't so random. End of our sleep. Then a second...I recorded it, got dressed and went to the desk. Played it for night desk person and showed him sink image. He added it to notebook. Went to room, more random clinking as other guests used their water. Quickly packed, headed for breakfast. Reported again, playing audio for morning manager. "So sorry". That's it. Meh Word of warning...nice looking hotel, but if you have any room issues no matter how late it is and unpacked...CHANGE ROOM.

We rolled in to Rock Hill hauling a giant horse trailer, so I didn't book ahead on-line, because I needed to find a hotel with a parking lot that could accommodate our unusual haul! We received our welcome water and snack - I don't know whose idea that was at Hilton, but can I tell you that I love it? Hydration is key on roadtrips and I don't stop for anything unless absolutely necessary, so that bottle of water upon check in is a welcome reminder to hydrate! It's empty before I even get to the room. Speaking of rooms - I LOVE Tru when I'm on business. The sleek, minimalist designs are just what I need. The fact that the hotel is DOG FRIENDLY makes me SO happy. They allow dogs of all sizes and the rooms (at least ours) are absolutely dog friendly - no carpet! So, if Fido DOES have an accident, it's easily cleaned. That being said, there's no reason your pup should have an accident because there are plenty of dog potty stations complete with baggies and disposal. There's a wide array of snacks and drinks available for purchase and the continental breakfast blew my mind. Gone are the days of stale muffins and mushy fruit! They had egg bites that rivaled Starbucks, Lavazza coffee, biscuits, sausage, toast, cereal, hot tea, and the most amazing little pancake machine that cranks out two pancakes in two minutes. It's so great! One thing I must note is that even though the hotel is dog friendly - there is NO odor. I mean, NONE. This hotel didn't even have the general "hotel smell." It just smelled fresh and clean and it WAS. I spilled some water on the floor and when I wiped it up, the white towel was still just as white as when I put it down there. Clean, clean, clean! No hair in the showers or sinks, not a towel out of place. I hope management treats the cleaning crew like queens and kings, because this hotel is SPARKLING clean. Lastly, I adore that they use Not Radio soaps, lotions, and shampoos. Truly, this hotel has thought of everything you could possibly need and they've made it convenient as well. Cheers to everyone working at this hotel and thank you for making our experience so wonderful.

Honestly, though why would you have such a nice facility with an indoor pool and the pool be freezing? My daughter wanted to swim in the pool and we stopped and we paid $200 and we got in the pool and his ice cold. The employee said the pool does not have a heater. Why would a Hilton have an indoor pool without a heater in it? What would a heater cost 10,000 more dollars? A small expense for the Hilton organization. Why would you not have a heater in this pool? Why would the pool be totally empty? No one could get in the pool cause it's absolutely like swimming in an iceberg. Why would you have such a nice hotel and such a beautiful pool and not have it warm enough so people could swim in it. What would be the point of having an indoor pool? You should just have an outdoor pool and cover it up in the winter. It makes no sense to me to not have a heated pool. And we asked them if the pool was working properly before we checked in they should've said it's working properly but it's subzero because there's no heater in the pool and we would've gone somewhere else. Really nice place. I wish they would have heated their pool in fact it's absolutely ridiculous that they did not.

We stayed here on Sunday night before Memorial Day. We checked in online, used the digital key and headed straight to our room about 7pm. There are many amenities which we did not check out because we were just staying for the night. Although the check-in was flawless, the WiFi was good, the TV channel options were endless and the room was quiet, we will not stay here again because of the following: There were multiple lights that did not work in the room. Light fixtures should be one of the easiest things to maintain. One had no light bulb, one we are guessing the light was burnt out and two only had one of two lights working in the fixture. The movable work table under the counter had some sticky residue on it. It was clearly not wiped clean. The remote had no cover for the battery. There was a piece of something that looked like food on the floor and the carpet needed a deep clean. These simple things raised our concern for the cleanliness and maintenance of things we did not notice. We made a note that for future travels through the area to stay at the Home2 in Blythwood, SC, It is a much better location overall than this particular hotel. In addition to the cleanliness and maintenance in Blythwood, the space in the room felt much bigger. The bathroom had a barn door verses the regular door in Rock Hill which barely cleared the toilet making it an extremely tight fit if shutting the door to use the bathroom. Not a great experience.
