I stayed at this hotel property since it was a short walk to Normandale Lake Park here in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was a good stay. Thanks to Hotels.com, where I booked my hotel room at the Hampton Inn Bloomington East. Hampton Inn is a good name hotel brand that's owned by Hilton hotels, I believe. Fast forward when I arrived here via Uber from the Mall of America after a day of shopping and things. I stayed here for a night and it was comfortable and pleasant. I arrived here around 4pm on a Friday afternoon and got checked in. The front desk counter Service here was pretty good and got checked in within five minutes. The check out service was non existent since I left the hotel around 6am and there was a hotel key lockbox, so I just dropped the hotel key in there and checked out the complementary hotel breakfast before I was on my way. It was only one night and enjoyed a few of the hotel's amenities, namely the ice machine and the aforementioned complimentary breakfast. I choose the hotel because of its proximity to Normandale Lake Park, which was around a mile walk from the hotel. I enjoyed the lobby and it was fresh and clean. The hotel room I got was a king bed. I probably paid about $149/night but that was okay, since I wanted to be close to the park. The hotel room itself was good and typical. It was clean and had all the basic amenities most hotels in the industry has. It was a typical hotel room that met expectations and was a good stay. Everything worked in the room, including the TV and the shower. No problems during my stay and it was good. The overall experience here at this Hampton Inn hotel in Bloomington, MN was good and nice. I feel like Hampton Inn is a good place to choose for your hotel needs. The brand is owned by Hilton, I believe, so you'll be in good hands. The room itself had a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. Getting else was standard. It is cool to be lounging in the room, eating dinner, while watching TV. Something cool and nice about it while traveling away from home. The room itself was clean and everything worked the way it should be. The complimentary breakfast was hit or miss. It just depends on what you enjoy in a good breakfast. I did enjoy unlimited self service orange juice though. Had about 5 cups of it before I left the hotel to Normandale Lake Park. The king bed was quite nice and very comfortable. Got in a decent amount of sleep and felt moderately Refreshed for the day ahead. Definitely enjoyed the stay here at this Hampton Inn location in Bloomington, MN. Whether your stay in Minneapolis is business or pleasure, consider this Hampton Inn hotel to be your place to stay and thrive. While Hampton Inn does cover the basics of a full service hotel, it doesn't have everything like many of the fancy ones do. Prices here are reasonable per night and the location is in a nice neighborhood away from the downtown area of Minneapolis. This Hampton Inn hotel is located in Minneapolis, MN. It's about a 15 ish minute drive from the Mall of America in Bloomington. Like many hotels in the industry, they accept major credit cards thru direct bookings on their website or through 3rd party websites like Hotels.com. They are physically located at 1234 Main Street, Bloomington, MN. As far as parking goes, they have parking here for hotel guests. Not sure if they do long term parking for other people but probably a money make for certain. Not sure about Minneapolis' public transportation options, but best bet would be to check out what routes are needed to arrive at this hotel, whether it's coming from the airport or wherever your origin destination may be. The hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood of Minneapolis, so you can be sure that you have a good reason to come to this Hampton Inn and have an enjoyable stay, whenever the need arises. Consider the Hampton Inn hotel as your home away from home when you visit the Hampton Inn. Extremely noisy. The entire staff was on their phone and would help guests between texts and cigarettes. The room was clean, pool was nice, breakfast had good options. It was the personnel that was unprofessional. While they were not rude- we just always felt like a bother when they had to put their personal call, Snapchat, or cigarette on hold to help us. The hotel was also not full and we got a pre-booked room through Expedia and they placed us right by the elevator and above the parking lot. If it wasn't the car doors slamming at all hours it was the elevator dinging constantly. We come on trips here 2-3 times per year so we've stayed at about 8 hotels. This hotel was quite new and very clean. I stay at a fair amount of Hamptons and this particular location was near the top in terms of quality, cleanliness and the breakfast. The two most memorable aspects of our trip was how awesome the breakfast was and the size of our room. Instead of the usual dried eggs and crummy waffles, they had breakfast burritos and tons of fun breakfast sweets. Our room was huge and really modern. I liked how the TV and desk area were laid out. The shower was pretty big and everything was really clean. I thought the staff was nice and very helpful, parking was a snap and it was super close to the highway. This was our first stay at the Hampton Minneapolis Bloomington West. This is a new location so the rooms are all brand new and updated. We were joining a group for an event in town so we reserved online for a special rate. One of the best parts of the process is the remote key option using the app on your phone. You check in and get your key and do not need to talk to anyone if you want to go right to your room. We did stop at the desk for an extra key and they were very courteous and friendly. No wait at all. We were greeted as club members and given free water for our membership. Our room was a King Suite and it was not as big as I would have expected but the smaller size was not an issue. The refrigerator was cold and the room came with a chair and ottoman. The bathroom was nice size with ole ty of room for two people to spread out their things. One drawback to the smaller King room was the lack of drawer space. By lack of drawer space, I mean there actually were no drawers other than three small wire sliding drawers under the TV. Aside from that the room was excellent. I must say something about the breakfast buffet. It was really good. Many healthy options and a wide variety of breakfast food. We were very happy with the food. And it's included with the price! A great option central to the mall and many local tourist spots too. read more

I stayed here for two nights this past Memorial Day weekend with my wife. This was one of three Hampton Inns that my wife and I stayed at over the extended weekend and it was easily the best one. Actually I might go as far as to say that this is the best Hampton Inn that I have ever stayed in, and my wife and I stay in a lot of them. Everything at this place seemed to be clean, fresh and new. If that wasn't enough, the guy at the front desk was super helpful and very nice as well. My wife and I both had two good nights of sleep here. The bed was comfortable and we didn't hear any extra noise throughout the nights. In the mornings this Hampton Inn had your traditional Hampton Inn breakfast of yogurt, cereals, waffles, pastries and a couple of hot items. It tasted good like it always does and they actually had a chalkboard near the lobby telling you what was coming up the next morning. Neither my wife nor I made it to the exercise room or pool (if there was one) and so we can't comment on that. The bottom line for me is that I would definitely stay again in the future. This hotel is not kids friendly. There is a particular stuff member who doesn't like children and will find anything to ruin the experience for the family. Amazing experience at this Hampton in! The red carpet was rolled out for me and the Manager was very accommodating. The best we're comfy enough for me to sleep in and relax and the huge shower was great for my shower concert! Lol! Stayed here for 2 nights visiting Mall Of America. So happy with our stay. Room was very spacious. Very modern layout. Separate dressing room and sink was wonderful with separate toilet shower area. Room was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. They offer and arranged for a shuttle to and from the mall. My daughter LOVES lemon poppyseed bread. She found it was served along with other tasty food. She mentioned it to the manager on duty and said it's really hard to find. The manager went into the kitchen area and walked out and handed my daughter a whole loaf. I couldn't believe it. She nearly made my daughter cry-she was so happy. Can't say enough nice things. I live out of state but grew up in Minneapolis, and I've stayed here many times over the past few years while visiting a family member in nursing home care. Staff is very courteous and accommodating, and the hotel has many conveniences including a 24 hour snack bar, free water, continental breakfast and pool. Rooms were always clean and in excellent condition, never had an issue with TV or wifi. Minutes from Mall of America and the airport. My thanks to the managers and employees for their excellent service and providing a place of comfort and relief during a difficult time for me and my family. Overall, this hotel is not worth the price. My husband, two young girls, and I stayed there for 5 nights. I was quoted $134/night when I booked with Hamton Inn over the phone. When I received our bill, they charged us between $138-$160/night. I brought this to the attention of the manager on duty who told me she could not honor the original price without proof, which I did not have with me. And she was not willing to give any kind of discount. We also went 2 days without any service to our room. We had to go down to the front desk just to get some fresh towels and ask them to change our trash. On Saturday and Sunday, the breakfast was very picked over and on Saturday it was shut down 30 min before it was supposed to, so my husband and 5 year old daughter could only eat cold cereal. The pool was nice. With all the hotels in the Minneapolis area, next time we are in town this military family will find a different place to stay. read more

Stayed there couple weeks ago while visiting Mall of America with my neices. Were there 3 days and every day housekeeping never showed up to clean rooms. At minimum to make beds and empty trash. Just ridiculous called manager and never returned call when got home. read more

Staff are fantastic. Room and facilities are very clean including pool. Didn't give 5 stars because the pool tile is super slippery. Stressful watching kids fall but everything is clean and greatly taken care of. I would stay again. Shuttle to Mall of America shuttle is free and will pick you up at your leisure. I chose this hotel because they have a shuttle from the airport. I have a series of business meetings and needed to get to the hotel to prepare. I called before I came to confirm continuous on demand shuttle...they confirmed. I called when I landed and front desk person said the shuttle would be at the airport to pick me up in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes I called again and the front desk person said they would be there any minute. During the time that I waited, 36 shuttles picked up clients. After another 20 minutes I tried to get some of those drivers to take me and the Hilton driver agreed to help me, when my shuttle pulled up...a full hour late. I told him I had been waiting an hour and he said the front desk had only called him 5 minutes ago. If you are traveling on business or, frankly, have anything to do besides sit at the airport I would highly recommend you avoid this place. I'm a Hilton diamond member and travel almost every week of the year...this was certainly my lowest tier experience to date. read more
