The space was stocked with snacks, coffee, water, juice, milk, etc, and we brought a lot of our own stuff as well. It was just a lovely place, and it served our purposes perfectly. I don't know how well it would work with other people...as the common area creates an intimate setting, but it would be the perfect setting for a family reunion, a girls weekend, etc.

They proceeded to try and make the comforter and pillows back on that they sat on the floor. So we just ended up having to sleep with no bedding and just the sheets that were new. Bath towels had hair, shower rag brown and yellow stains, and hair in the shower. I did make mention to morning staff. Idk if it mattered to her or not. It's conveniently located right off the interstate, directly across from Walmart, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and stores, making it easy to grab anything you need. There is also free parking, and the hotel is pet friendly, which was important to us. Another positive was the complimentary continental breakfast, which is served daily until 9:00 a.m. It offered a decent selection and was a nice convenience before heading out for the day. Unfortunately, our experience went downhill from there. We booked our stay through Booking.com and were charged by them as expected. When we checked in, the front desk employee said he only needed a credit card to hold for incidentals. Instead, he charged us for the entire stay a second time. Having to deal with an unexpected duplicate charge while traveling was frustrating and unnecessary. I also wasn't thrilled about the additional pet fee. In my opinion, if a hotel advertises itself as pet friendly, that cost should be built into the room rate rather than added as an extra expense. We stayed in Room 214, and it was in need of significant maintenance and a much better cleaning. The carpet was grimy, the bedding had stains, the toilet handle was broken, the bathroom sink drained very slowly because it was clogged, several electrical outlets didn't work, and during a rainstorm, water was actually dripping from the ceiling onto the second bed. The one positive is that we did not see any bugs during our stay. However, it was obvious the room had not been cleaned thoroughly, and the overall condition made it difficult to feel comfortable. The location is excellent, the free parking and breakfast are appreciated, but the condition of the room and the double billing issue overshadowed the convenience. I hope management addresses both the maintenance problems and the front desk billing procedures so future guests have a much better experience.
