We booked seven rooms for family members coming into town for a celebration of life service. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Thanks to: Heather, the front desk manager who was so helpful and flexible in booking, The desk clerks who greeted us on arrival, knew in advance why we were there and took care of our every need The breakfast room lady who doted an the 7 children in the family - putting the TV on Bluey and getting them ketchup, The night/weekend clerk (Kevin) who opened the breakfast room for us, helped us get football on the TV, let us have two takeout meals in there and didn't flinch when our kids have Barbie's all over one table. This location is showing a little age but is incredibly well maintained. We did have one problem (a shower head that fell off :) but they opened another room for that family to shower in, and had the shower fixed in no time. The indoor pool and hot tub is amazing and kept the kids entertained. The breakfast is hot, varied from day to day, and excellent. In short - this is just a REALLY well run hotel. read more

We were in town for four nights for a funeral and this hotel was so wonderful! We had seven rooms and multiple little kids. The breakfast attendant, Ann, was welcoming and helpful with any request. The hotel let us take over the breakfast room when it was closed for the young children to play Barbies in and the whole family to hang out. Each request was accommodated with a smile. read more

This was my first stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Marietta and I hope to get the chance to visit again. The hotel is in a great location and it seemed as though it only took a minute or two to find after jumping off the interstate. It is also surrounded by shopping and restaurants so you can check that box. Check-in was a breeze using the app for both checking in and the room key. The common areas were spacious and well maintained. The room seemed a bit dated and smaller than some of the other Fairfields I have stayed in, but it was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff was amazing. The individual working the front desk was very focused on making sure the room was good and offered to assist with any other needs during my stay. I would/will stay here again when in the Marietta area. This property did not disappoint. Thanks for an enjoyable stay! read more

Clean and quiet... love the sushi rice and egg rolls as a different breakfast option. Have to book well in advance though due to high demand. Wings Etc across the parking lot for good food and an adult beverage. read more

Marriotts always start with great people and this one was no different. The staff did a great job checking us in and getting us all set for the night. The rooms were clean as well as the facilities. They offered breakfast during covid-19 and still are as of now. There is a wings and a ihop in walking distance and a Wal-Mart fairly close for anything else you may need. read more

Stayed here for two nights, & couldn't have been more pleased! The staff are very friendly & efficient, always greet you, welcome you with delicious cookies & citrus infused water, and even gave me a gift bag with water & snacks! The parking is ample & FREE, entire hotel is immaculately clean & tastefully decorated. The rooms are large, bathrooms are large, good size TV, and the beds & pillows are THE most comfortable I have ever encountered at ANY hotel! They provide a fantastic complimentary breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options, even healthy ones & special dietary needs! Hot coffee & tea are available in the lobby 24 hours, especially important for us early risers before official breakfast start time! There is a nice bench for smokers, with two butt receptacles, a good distance from the front door. I highly recommend this hotel, would absolutely stay here again! read more

On the road from NC to MI, this was a perfect halfway point for us to stop. We had an odd set up which required a few 2 queen rooms, which they were out of. From the looks of it, there was a wedding in the vicinity which filled the hotel up. Anyhow, they had king studios with a pullout for $5 more, which we jumped at. The room had a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Plus a free breakfast complete with eggs, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. Plus good melon cut up. Comfy beds and decent air conditioning - good enough! read more

My husband and I have been on a long road trip, and during the past two weeks, we have spent several nights at Marriott properties. All have been outstanding in terms of comfort and cleanliness. Tonight, however, we met an desk clerk about whom I feel compelled to write. Alicen, at the Marietta Fairfield, was articulate and competent when we checked in. There was suddenly a rush coming in - a family with kids, my husband and I , and a very large group of jovial male golfers. Alicen could have been intimidated, but she was not. She smoothly took care of everyone's needs without getting ruffled. She fixed small problems, gave reassuring responses, and never dropped her smile or friendly demeanor. I was mightily impressed. Thank you to Alicen and the Marietta Fairfield. You allowed us to "come home" for the evening. read more

But I must say that the room was clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The lobby area is decorated very cute. The free breakfast was delicious. My family and I like this Fairfield Inn. The staff here is very friendly. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The beds are very comfortable, with nice linens. Nice and generous towels in the bathroom. My husband likes that the room air conditioner / heater has a very wide range of temperature settings, is easy to set or adjust (even in the dark), is pretty quiet, and has a setting for constant fan if you like to have that. We like the fireplaces in the lobby and breakfast area. The lobby and lounge seating is very comfortable with several quiet nooks if you want to get away, or a group seating area with a TV as well. The breakfast is good, with lots of variety. Great coffee. We have stayed at other Fairfield Inns and like this one the best. Thank you for two very nice nights. read more

Clean. Very customer friendly. Breakfast buffet was kept fresh. Spills wiped up in timely fashion. Small little touches like clean towels on each pool lounge chair and in each treadmill made this Fairfield Inn stand out as a special place to stay. Great job! read more

We stayed here on our way down to Hilton Head, SC. I had done some research on the city of Marietta, because it is in my '1,000 Places To See Before You Die' book and I wanted to make a little stop of it. So I found what looked like the best hotel (for what we needed, a two room suite for our two toddlers and my husband and I). I will say that we were thoroughly impressed with this hotel. Not only was it nice and clean, but the staff was extremely friendly. We checked in and got all of our stuff up to the room, we did find a couple bugs on the curtains when we got there...which was kind of gross, but no biggie. I had called before I booked it to make sure the room had a door separating the two rooms and it did, which was perfect. We had a handicapped accessible room which meant the bathroom was huge! It was awesome with the kids, because you could really fit the entire family in the bathroom and not be frustrated or annoyed because you felt cramped. I will say one down side, was that there was no fan in the bathroom, which made 'number 2's' a little less forgiving when you are sharing a hotel room with 4 people...lol...but that's a small detail. Our room overlooked a hill and woods, and was pretty to look out the windows. The windows themselves opened, to get fresh air as well, which you don't see all that often in hotels. The hotel itself is very clean, and smelled nice and new. The breakfast was good, standard things were offered and the woman who ran that particular area was very friendly and talkative. We told here some things we wanted to do, and she told us how to get there and engaged us in small talk. We had some issues with our kids the first night we stayed there, with them not acclimating well to being away from home, so they cried and screamed into the night. We felt so bad for anyone who may have been around us, the next day I asked the staff if there was anyone in rooms around us and they said no, so that was a relief. But they said there was going to be occupants in all the rooms around us that night. Unfortunately that is the reason I gave the hotel only 4 stars, because the family next to us had a crying/screaming baby that carried on ALL night, essentially waking us out of a dead sleep thinking it was our kids and giving us mild heart attacks every time. As I realize this is not the hotels fault, I will say, their walls are paper thin. I mean, I heard the family talking normally, which means the walls are entirely too thin. The next morning at check out they asked about our stay, and I told them it was nice, but the family next to us kept us up all night. They asked if we called to complain and I told them no, because our kid was up screaming all night the night before, so we understood, it just sucked because the walls are so thin. And the clerk went in the back and got us a little gift bag, filled with candy and snacks for the unpleasant night sleep. What a nice gesture. The town of Marietta is a nice historical town and I am glad we made time to stop here. In fact, we stopped here for a quick bite to eat on our way back home and we met the nicest little old couple at Taco Bell. Who chatted us up about Ann Arbor and UofM. What a pleasant little town, we won't hesitate to stop here again if we go south again. read more

First room I was in had a stink bug in it that landed on my pillow. The woman at the front desk informed me that this is a known problem at the hotel and that she could move me to another room, but there was a high likelihood that this room would also have stink bugs. read more
