Average Hampton. I feel these places, after decades of business travel, are on par with the Tru level of hotels in the Hilton portfolio. This one is recently remodeled with subpar materials. Each room has the faucet installed too close to the countertop which makes it comical to use the sink. I left this time feeling a bit itchy. It was clean. The counter girls were nice and friendly, although I do everything electronically. I'm just kind of done with the Hampton level quality in general. Not bad, not great. Just eh. read more

I found myself here exactly a year later after a last minute 6-state roadtrip detour on the return to Baltimore from Missouri. Having stayed here last year and finding the property to be an excellent stopping for the night point, I easily made a reservation on the Hilton app - from 20 miles away. They had rooms available, and the staff welcomed me right in. The hotel was just like I remembered it. mixed review in our two days at this property. Well kept and well run. However, the pillows are terrible, just air no filling. The lighting is out of control. the hallway is lit like a bus station. stays this way all night long. But wait there is more. The strange noises from the mechanicals of the building could wake the dead. The shower stall is also very odd. slide the door left to turn on the water and get in this side also. Computers were down at a nearby property so our reservation wasn't honored there and we ended up here. Fine by me! This place welcomed us a bit before midnight. The room had two full beds. The closet is concealed behind a full length mirror door (good use of space). There was a desk, an arm chair and an end table that held three carry on size suitcases. The room wasn't cramped, space was well used. Breakfast was good. Waffle maker, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, fiesta egg omelettes, Canadian bacon and a commercial toaster. There is one TV in the lobby area and there is plenty of space to eat with high top and low top tables as well as a few banquette seating areas. The lobby is updated. The room was a bit worn, but served it's purpose...a good night's sleep. read more

Hampton used to be my goto entry level hotel. Good place to stay after a night on the road. However, they are getting a bit tired and I am switching to the holiday inn express due to newer builds. We got here around 4 pm and no baggage trolleys were available. The person at the front desk offered to help and eventually sent someone out with a laundry basket (wire on wheels) we really didn't want to put our luggage in a basket that could have held dirty laundry. I ended up taking all our luggage up myself. The main issue was that we couldn't get my daughter's wheelchair out until the luggage was out. If you need a place to lay your head and don't mind tired facilities then this is acceptable but the HIE Agee blocks away would probably be a better choice. read more

This hotel is NOT worth the money you pay! I paid 250. A night for this hotel that was under MAJOR construction. We thought it was vacant when we pulled up. It was filthy and not worth the money. The hilton website says minor construction but believe me it is not minor. Broken windows, broken door, and not safe with signs telling you they are not responsible for the parking lot. I've been here two separate times and the facility is clean and updated with a great breakfast, but I've had the same issue both times. When I'm staying here, I'm working at a nearby facility at night so I have to sleep in the day. The housekeeping is so loud even when you have a "do not disturb" sign on the door. They are yelling down the hall conversing with each other and it goes on for what seems like for hours. I hate complaining, but I even told the front desk about it this time thinking the next day they'd be more courteous. Nope. It still went on the second day when I tried to sleep. The third day, one of them even knocked twice on my door and then when I stuck my head out she apologized and said she didn't notice the "do not disturb" sign. ugh! Like I said, nice hotel, but I'll stay elsewhere next time just because I need sleep. read more

A decent hotel, but not worth the $$$. Beds are mediocre and not great for a side sleeper (both of my hips were sore in the am). Bathroom doesn't have a vent. And the mini frig is a nice touch, except that the one in our room made rather loud clicking noises each time the condenser ran and it made for a rough night of sleep. Not the hotels' fault, but at this price point we thought we wouldn't have to deal with jerks. But there's one in most crowds and this hotel is no exception. We were on the top floor but someone woke us up three times and I don't have any idea what he did to make our beds SHAKE (jumped off of his?) which woke us up. But I do know he slammed his door each time, obviously intentionally being a prick. read more

On our way home from Atlanta, we wanted to spend a couple of days in Frankfort to tour bourbon distilleries. We decided to stay at the Hampton Inn. Our check-in went without problems as did check-out. The staff people we met were friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely appointed. The bathroom was clean and loaded with soft towels. The passive fan in the bathroom did a good job of exhausting steam from the shower. One minor complaint I have with this hotel - as I do with many - is that the stopper in the sink leaks. Our bed was comfortable and had ample pillows. The table lamps had 120v outlets which were convenient for charging electronic devices. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast which includes eggs, oatmeal and waffles as hot items; cold items include fruit, yogurt and cereal. Rather than just cheese omelets, the hotel had western omelets with sausage, cheese, peppers and onion. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend the Hampton Inn to anyone who's coming to the Frankfort area. read more

This is a great hotel that is a real bargain. However, it looks like they're starting to let things go, particularly the pool. It's filthy, cloudy, green and neglected. So, if you don't want a pool, proceed. However, if like our group of 12, we needed a cold dip in the pool after a long day's riding the bourbon trail - and this pool is unsanitary. read more

This is probably my 5th time staying at this hotel. My experience is neither here nor there. It's a decent hotel in a good location. It's close to some shopping, eateries, and the interstate. The hotel offers free wifi and a complimentary hot breakfast. Depending on the day you'll be pleased or you'll find yourself heading to Chick fil A (within walking distance). I'm sure I'll return as the selections in Frankfort are limited and this place provides many of the basics. read more

I started doing road trips during Covid instead of flights, and I've been loving the experience so much that I plan on doing road trips long after Covid is in the past. I've only stayed at 5 hotels in the past 6 months, but this was by far my favorite. GREAT location with a lot of restaurants nearby and several gas stations right at the nearby intersection. Extremely friendly staff and they were able to answer all my questions and help with whatever things I needed help with. Clean room, comfortable bed. Super cheap price. Very pleased and I'll try to route my next road trip through Frankfort just so I know I'll be getting a good night's sleep. read more

Stayed here for one night whilst travelling and found it to be clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking out front, very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Air con was great, too, as it was unseasonably warm. Only downside was that the pool was not only empty of water, but full of litter! Disappointing, as I'd wanted to have a dip. Breakfast was good and plentiful, but make sure you're there in plenty of time as at 10am on the dot, everything was taken away! Walked across the road to the supermarket and to have dinner which was an experience - American roads really don't cater for pedestrians! Would stay again, friendly front desk staff. read more

An older hotel. Some of the furniture has seen better days. For the most part though, it's kept up fairly well and is pretty clean which is super important to me. They've actually put white comforters on the beds which definitely lightens up the room, otherwise I think it would be pretty drab and depressing. Lately I've been getting rooms with a mini refrigerator and a microwave which is handy for keeping a few snacks around. The rooms all need power strips under the desks. It's impossible to use my laptop without unplugging a lamp or some other appliance. Staff is very friendly. There is a guy at the front desk who greets me by name whenever he sees me. (I've been staying here for work for 2 weeks already, going on at least several more...) There are a couple of good restaurants across the street, as well as a Kroger and Walmart nearby. Very convenient to just walk across the street for dinner and a drink. read more

Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding. We stayed in one room, and my parents in another. Both rooms were King rooms, but ours had a mini fridge and microwave (325) and theirs didn't (323). Pros: Free wifi, hot breakfast, coffee, tea, & hot coco at any time, super quiet (the hotel was full on Sat night, and we never heard anyone else), very clean, nice staff, security guard at night, have HD channels and a guide on the TV, and close to a lot of restaurants, though it may be hard to walk to them. Cons: Pillows are a little stiff and too small, sink water pressure can cause items in the sink to splash onto clothes (I got toothpaste on my dress), and tiles look dated in bathroom. Overall, I'd love to stay here again. read more

Stayed here 2 nights while on the Bourbon Trail. Very, very clean and comfy rooms. It's in a great location to serve as a base of operations when exploring Bourbon distilleries. Free breakfast was so-so, but hey, it was free, so wasn't expecting much. read more

This place has seen better days, that's clear. But it wasn't totally gross or untouchable either. The staff was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. I can't complain too much. This place served its purpose: providing a cheap place for hubs and I to crash while we went out on bourbon tours during the day. Very standard and no bells and whistles. In the morning, as soon as one of our neighbors turned on water, we were up. Internet was free which was a plus. I recently spent two weeks here on business and really love Hamptons. The breakfasts are great, friendly and helpful staff and I felt secure traveling alone. My only quip is that sometimes the pipes were a little loud but it may have been my room's location: next to the elevators. I woke up a few times to this but am also a lighter sleeper when I'm alone. Ok overnight stay booked through Expedia. Hotel took credit card at check-in for incidentals, when we asked for a receipt at checkout they said we would receive that from Expedia since we paid through them. A week later I've got $117 Expedia charge and a $116 Hampton Inn charge on my credit card. Tried to call hotel for 24 hours, hotel manager does not answer phone. Hampton Inn and Expedia customer service could only call and ask the front desk, who told us all to talk to the hotel manager. Finally got ahold of the manager, she was extremely rude and said it was only an authorization, when I tried to explain that capital one says its a final charge, she began to use unprofessional language and told me to call the police. Unless you want to pay $233 a night to stay at this place, I'd goto the Fairfield or holiday inn instead. read more

Rooms are clean. The heater/AC is the old fashion nob ones. You get a lot of towels. There's also a couch, desk, and TV in my room. The channels are weird (they do give you a channel guide to help but numbers are in the hundreds. You have to request a fridge & microwave if you want them in your room (free). Breakfast includes cereal (includes raisin bran, frosted flakes, Cheerios, fruit loops, etc.), milk, yoplait yogurt (Greek, strawberry, peach), muffins, waffle, oatmeal, fruit (pineapple, apple, banana), and hard-boiled eggs). The gym sucks though - only 1 elliptical and 1 treadmill, and a weights machine in a tiny room with 1 tv. And the gym smells soooo bad! That's like the only bad thing about this hotel. Otherwise, it's nice - the staff is nice - they always remember my name when I walk in/out. It's also within walking distance to Walmart, Kroger, Steak 'n Shake, walgreens, panera, shoe carnival, and some other stores/rest. I like going to ginza, which is a Japanese restaurant closeby. Parking is pretty easy - there are some convenient spots for Hilton diamond card holders. read more
