    Very nice hotel in a good location. We stayed here one night. The room was very spacious. Bathroom was nice. No issues with parking.

    woke up with rash and bumps on me, blood on the sheets. After that i checked the folds of the mattress and guess what i found

    On August 10 2021 my 8 month pregnant wife and Autistic son were staying at your hotel while…read moreplumbing work was being done on our house, additionally I had to work an 8 hour shift. We booked the room through the 12th with an open ended option as we were not sure how long the repairs may take, that same day a storm was near the area and caused a significant power outage to surrounding areas along with the hotel as I was at work, my wife text me "powers out" at the hotel. I thought, may not be too long and she agreed, to ride it out. 8 hour shift my wife not replying, I made it to the hotel after dark, to find the facility still without power, I proceeded to ask the front desk if there was any hope it would get on and if not would we be accommodated for the inconvenience as at first no fault of yours, additionally I asked if they checked all rooms as my family is been upstairs for a period of time. Alarmed Face as nobody was else in the hotel! She gave me. The answer was "NO" I asked why, as it seems you should want to check on your guest? So I proceeded to go up stairs in complete dark with Cell phone as light, to find my wife in tears and my son confused in the dark. No apology was given as she could not use the elevator and additionally walk down the stairs being 8 months pregnant with our luggage and child, she was left stranded with no phone, no help, no answers. I asked if they could help book a hotel in the area, but computers were down and it seems since you have no representatives of managers in the facility it would not be worth proceeding any further questions. We began to drive to Novi as that was the first suggestion given, even though two other Holiday inn hotels in the area were fully booked due to the outage. After 30min a hungry wife and child, still shook of the day. We find out this also overbooked and closest was Ann Arbor which was originally 20min away now 50min, it's now late evening around 10pm we finally get help we needed, as I explained without anger of the situation the staff was extremely accommodating and we stayed from the 11th to the 14th. Next day I went back to the original hotel and talked to annoyed manager that I requested a refund for the trip and if possible we could have a free night for the mishap, as I was told they don't deal with those type of concerns and I would need to call the customer relations line and try to achieve if I wanted. After many phone calls the manager at the original place called me and promised to accommodate the free night and refund the additional night as it was never used and we were booked in another Holiday inn. I was dealing with an injury for over a year and the taste of a night stay did not sit with me along my family, as well as the process to get this sorted was overwhelming needless to say.. my brain injury unfortunately put me out a year as multiple treatments finally able to get back to reality again. I recently called down to the holiday inn which another new management asking of my credit for the day was still active as my wife and I agreeing it would be nice to take the boys swimming. Finding out no record was found, my information changed, address, email, phone number a receipt with an apology that we could not help as it was not documented on their side, so back to the phone calls, where I got both receipts with no refund, no credit of stay. I called to upper management of customer relations line and they could not pull up any record to help me, as rewards membership showed my correct email, my new email in the system Falsified as "Gwet@gmail.com" I assume for CSI purposes they covered up the mistake thinking they would not have to explain what had happen that day. After speaking 45 min to higher personal they called the hotel and the same answer given to me before as now they cannot honor only the Hotel can do that, but that is not what I was told before and yesterday when I met the new management. So you can delete me out of the system, change my personal information but you can't help fix an obvious justified concern of Why? Multi billion dollar business and I can't get answer on $278.64 seems as a revamp of training hospitality In a HOTEL setting' may seem important.     The hotel was dirty, management was rude and dishonest. They tried to charge for damages that did…read morenot occur and when we asked for proof, they showed a picture but would not do a video walk through. Then they said that the damages were already repaired, an hour later. This is a terrible way to do business, they also said, I'm sure by accident, that they had 7 rooms that were damaged that night, which I believe is false. I think that wrongfully charged 7 people hoping to get away with it. One they stated was for coffee spilled, ours they said was for crayons all over a desk and walls, which we absolutely did not do, how do you charge someone for spilling coffee? Terrible business practice to take advantage of innocent people for financial gain. On top of that, the rooms were dirty, the bathroom floor was grimy with a film that made my children fall several times. The carpet was ripped up and gross, the walls had peeling paint. I won't stay here again and honestly after this experience another Holiday Inn at all is questionable. I have submitted a formal complaint with the CFPB for improper business practices and if anyone else had this happen, I urge you to do the same. Management didn't care and Kevin would not let us speak to the District Manager stating they don't take calls, after saying he would refund our fees, we were rewarded with a new higher charge.

I have stayed at this hotel three or four times and boy has it really gone down downhill I had been up for 20 hours and was extremely exhausted and as I was checking the room and out in the hallway, you could see all the dust and dirt along the baseboards behind the bed and the nightstand there was candy, wrappers dirt, and some little worm on one of the beds. There was a chunk taken out of it. I looked up at the smoke alarm and it was covered with Something. The floors had all stains on them. This was room 314. I always travel with Lysol and Lysol wipes so I can clean myself. The bedding looked very old and because it was graduation weekend I had to pay more than normal, which is an outrage. I had to get up very early in the morning. There was no breakfast yet. I will definitely not be back to this hotel. I know there are better ones and will find one. The owner and manager ought to be ashamed of themselves. Maybe they need to go up and take a look at what's being done in the rooms and in the hallways the hotel needs to be updated once you get past the lobby it's like stepping back in the Victorian days, save yourself some time and find something different
