This place is a dump. Checked in after a long travel day and while I didn't expect extravagance, I did expect cleanliness. The toilet is DISGUSTING, and wtf is with the jacuzzi tub next to the bed? Pool and hot tub are green. read more

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. During our stay, we experienced a significant water issue where we only had a trickle of water for approximately 20 minutes. (Thursday - Saturday). We were never offered a room change or another accommodation, despite the inconvenience. There were also issues with our billing, including being charged twice for the stay, which temporarily resulted in a large fund being taken from my account, this was handled promptly. We reached out to the hotel during and afterward to address everything and ultimately were offered a 50% refund, which we appreciate. However, the overall experience and, more importantly, the way the situation was handled left a very negative impression. What was most disappointing was the response we received when trying to resolve the situation. read more

A good value place to stay. Staying for 2 nights owing to a HS rowing competition at nearby Kensington Park. Check in was easy and accomplished by friendly staff. My room was on the second floor, and surprisingly large, with a bedroom separate from a nice living room area. Clean and well-kept. The sofa was a bit dated, as was the coffee table...but not a big deal. Everything worked, although a small leak was noted in the bathroom sink, and the toilet, when flushed, did a bit of a Vesuvius routine. No biggie! I would, however, strongly suggest the rooms come equipped with cell phone charging outlets. Their absence is a big negative. All in all, a good value for the price. I'd stay here again. I would note that this place has a number of bad reviews. Speaking to the desk manager, they are attributable to one disgruntled person using multiple fake profiles. I suggested they contact Yelp to have those fraudulent reviews removed. read more

Absolutely Amazing Amy! This location has a fantastic gal working the front desk named Amy. She is professional, kind, and superb at customer service. Amy went out of her way to make my stay special. I live in Las Vegas so I have stayed at some of the best hotel/ casinos there is! No one has gone out of their way to provide such great care for my stay and needs. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at! Every main room door slams and is not a soft close. We heard doors slamming all night and morning. They slammed so hard our beds shook! We had the room fan on, we had our own personal fan on high and a sound machine on very loudly and still were woken up or startled multiple times from other people's doors slamming. The pool closed at 11 so there were kids running up and down the hallways super late. Multiple people were smoking in their rooms and the hallways were super smoky... It's a non-smoking hotel. We got up for breakfast which was frequently running out of food items. They had a mislabeled juice machine that dispensed water instead of orange juice. We were all locked out of our rooms before checkout and had to get our cards redone at the front desk. The staff was super rude and said the cards stop working the day you leave, not after checkout time. So if you leave your room at all the day you checkout you can't get back in unless you go to the front desk. We wanted to get some pool time in in the morning after breakfast but it didn't open until 10am. Hand sanitizers were not working and the soap dispenser in the bathrooms were out. Also we confirmed on the phone that our 2 rooms were joining and found out that they were several rooms away from each other when we got there. I would give them a zero rating buy I did not have that option with yelp. To start, we were checked in by the rudest customer service rep I have ever encountered. Only one person in our entire stay was helpful. Tried to talk me into a downgraded room that I had booked and paid for. Turns out they overbooked the hotel. There was was a water leak in the toilet, their answer was to send someone to mop it up, had to push for a plumber. Walking into the room there was a musty smell and for some reason the carpet was damp. Had to go out and purchase slippers as we could not identify the source. Covid restrictions meant no housekeeping, and you had to go to desk to get new towels, that's fine, not the only place to do this. Going down to get the towels was met with an eye rolling as I interrupted the cell phone texting. Would liked to had left the hotel but the Nascar races booked up the hotels. Do not stay here. I simply asked for two rolls of toilet paper today (extended stay) for my next days use, I was informed that they limit toilet paper an when i asked him his name he stated Caleb, and asked "you don't know who I am do you?" , never actually did he ever identify himself as management or staff. he then proceeded to tell me I have an attitude an kicked me out of the hotel with less than an hours notice, an threatened police. Very poor overall experience. Smelly room, only 1 bar of soap, no USB ports, phone not working, and no courtesy toothbrush. Cold coffee in the morning!?...seriously where is the customer service. And movie theater prices for water and toothbrush. Oh, and upon entry there's a sign that the pool is out of service indefinitely! The pool not a big deal for me...but if I was my kids that would be a downer...they should post this note for all who are reserving rooms (as so many others do). Never to return. read more

Hello my name is Clayton Maxwell, I would like to talk to you about a major issue I had last week at your hotel. I arrived last week for a last minute booking for a girls night. We picked this hotel because they had a pool and hot tub listed and it's hard to find a hot tub last minute. We get there and the pool and hot tub are under construction so we tried to cancel the reservation but they couldn't refund the money. So we went back outside and after 20 minutes my friend and I decided to stay and went back in. It took 15 minutes for the person infront of us in line to get frustrated and go outside over his own booking issues. We checked in and they asked for my card again for a 20$ retainer and she said tomorrow the money would be put back. The front desk worker explained the best she could but there was a language barrier. But she said it would be given back. She charged me $82.41. Upon checking out I asked about the charge and spoke with a manager and she said it would be put back on my account within 48 hours but if there's any issues to talk to my bank because she said I should use a credit card next time because the money gets instantly put back and sometimes with debit cards it gives issues. (I would have used a credit card if she explained it to me when I checked in) I talked with my bank twice and they said the hotel didn't set it up as a retainer that would be put back it was put in as a direct charge. I called the hotel yesterday and got through to another manager and they said that they are fixing it and that the money will be on within 24 hours. Today I called the hotel AGAIN and I had to explain the situation another time and waited on hold. The male I spoke too was very nice and when he didn't know how to handle it he said he would ask a coworker and put me on hold, I appreciated and respected his honesty. His coworker took me off hold and said a manager was driving in to check up on my complaint to get it resolved so they said they would call me back. I insisted I would rather stay on hold until the manager made it in to talk to me. They reverified my phone number and promised a call back soon. Now it's midnight (6 hours later) and I never got a call back. A week ago they charged me $82.41 for no reason and I still have not gotten my money back after talking to two managers and potentially getting forgotten by a third. My favorite part of this experience was the multiple times I was on hold was that it was playing a rolling ad for their pool and hot tub (the only reason I booked the room in the beginning and was under construction). Normally not a Karen but I work hard for my money and this is unacceptable. Also on your Facebook page it talks about how the pool and hot tub was closed and that all websites were notified to put it was temporarily closed. But your own website still has it listed as an amenity. I will be calling back tomorrow and if it's not resolved I will be coming in to talk to a manager. read more

Last night because of the snow storm that came in we were driving about 4hrs longer than initially anticipated to the Detroit area. The reservation was still set and the reception at the front desk greeted me very nicely. The first morning we were so tired and I messed up on the time for breakfast, I thought it went until 10:30, so I was very disappointed to say the least to come down and nothing was available, Not there fault. BUT when I asked if I possible could get a yogurt or cold cereal, she even said no, wow. She said her "manager" said she had to save them for the next day. I am not pushing them out of their way by no means, just asking for some customer service and good sense. I even said to her we came in late because of the storm, the lady had no reasoning ability. if I could give it a 0 I would. we booked our stay for 2 nights for a baseball tournament. we ended up needing only 1 night. I jumped thru all the hoops for Expedia and the property and all agreed I could be refunded the 2nd night. however the property processed both nights on my debit card. I have left 3 phone messages and one email for the manage. so far he has not processed the refund no has he returned any of my calls. if you can't hold to your word, you get a 0. stay somewhere else read more

When I stayed there the fire alarm went off for hours and after calling to complain and never responding to my message I called back. Made a reservation for one night stay 6 months ago. Got a reminder email from them 2 days ago, so all is well I assume. Check in is 3:00; I got there at 4:00 so I assume my room is ready. No. They only have 2 people cleaning rooms, so they ask for another hour. I politely agree, and do some shopping. I get back at 6 and get checked in. The room hasn't been touched, dirty sheets and wet towels everywhere. They apologize and put me in a different room. Only problem, someone is still in it. So they tell me to wait indefinitely for the first room, he has no idea when it'll be ready, or cancel the reservation. No offers of getting someone on it right away or anything. Avoid this place like the plague. Pool and hot tub out of service indefinitely. Spend a little more, it'll be worth it. read more

Never told us that they were undergoing construction. Gave us a room right in the middle of the construction. Banging most of the morning. Had to walk over wires and around ladders regularly. Had to call the front desk person but phone wouldn't work. When I walked to talk to her about our clogged toilet and trash cans that the maid didn't empty, she offered to give me the supplies. When I said that I thought someone should come fix it she said that she was the only employee in the building. The indoor pool was freezing. The treadmills in the exercise room either didn't work or was very rough looking. When I went to wash some clothes using their laundry facility, I realized that their change machine was not working. When I asked the front desk for change, he said that he only had a little and couldn't give it to me because then he wouldn't have any at the front desk. read more
