I am a Hilton LIFETIME DIAMOND and to say "DON'T STAY AT THIS PROPERTY" would be putting it lightly! Not only is the property unkept and in ill repair, the management, all the way up to the General Manager, Sydney, doesn't care! (THEY HAVE OVER 120 "1 STAR" REVIEWS) I have stayed with Hilton properties for over 22 years and have never had an experience even close to my stay last night! Upon opening the door to my 3rd floor room shortly after 7 pm, my very first thought was, "this place is NASTY!" My eyes were drawn to the window across the room. Both the curtains and the shears were open and, because of the nearby parking lot light, the absolute filth of the window was almost overwhelming! If they aren't going to clean the windows, at least keep the shears closed so the guest doesn't notice. Here is a list of other things noted at this property: * Light over the bathroom mirror didn't work... How can housekeeping clean the bathroom or even just the mirror and not notice that the light doesn't work? * No Shampoo in the container in the shower * Pool towels in the bathroom instead of bath towel * Long black hairs in the sink. It wasn't mine. I have very short gray hair. * Gooey spots on counter, like little spots of toothpaste * Soap/Toothpaste spots on mirror * The door to my room, 315, had a 2nd hole for a door handle drilled all the way through the door that they had filled with wood putty and never stained it * The Sheetrock tape all the way around the door was peeled up and loose from the wall itself * Inside door of the elevator had a very wide stripe of adhesive across the door horizontally where they had a Hampton banner ad in the past and never cleaned the elevator door. Get some "Goof Off" and clean the door! (see picture) * No breakfast... Breakfast is from 6 am to 10 am. I came down at 8:15 and the wasn't any breakfast, nor had there been. The pans were completely clean and washed. When I inquired about it, I was told that they had they fired the lady who does breakfast and didn't have anyone to do it now. I then asked why the manager or GM wasn't filling in to ensure the guests were getting what they paid for. i was told, "She doesn't come in until 9:00.0 (see picture of empty pan) * The curbs of the parking lot are littered with days worth of cigarette butts and no one tidying the parking lot. Prior to leaving, I stopped at the front desk to discuss my stay. The only person at the desk was a lady from housekeeping. So, I took the opportunity to voice my "cleanliness concerns". She turned, walked away, and came back with the cleaning schedule and said, "I didn't clean your room yesterday!" I then asked to speak with the GM and was again advised that she wouldn't be in until 9 am. I left the property and went to work. At around 9:15 am I returned to the property to discuss my stay with Sydney, the General Manager. Josh, the front desk agent, told me that she was on the phone and he was unsure how long she would be. I waited about 15 minutes before speaking with Josh regarding my concerns. While doing so, another guest came to the desk and overheard our discussion. She politely interrupted and said, "I just want to check out and SUPPORT HIS CONCERNS!" She went on to say that her room was so nasty that she was checking out without taking a shower. Josh very rudely refused to refund either the lady's stay or mine. When Sydney finally came to the front desk, I explained my concerns and asked for the Hampton Inn 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for a refund of the charges for that night. Sydney proceeded to tell me that she wasn't going to refund my charges because I had stayed the night and didn't leave. I told Sydney that is what the guarantee is for. She literally argued with me for about 10 minutes, even telling me to call the Diamond Desk to tell them my concerns. I told Sydney that's exactly what I was going to do AFTER SHE REFUNDED MY CHARGES! After much discussion, Sydney finally issued a refund to my card for my stay. The people working here were super kind! Check in service was easy. Breakfast starts at 6:30am, and they had pancakes, sausages, biscuits and gravy, eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, muffins, and coffee machine. I saw a dead cockroach by the ice machine on the fourth floor :( I'm surprised they didn't have an ice machine and water fountain on each floor. It's not a huge holiday inn, and I didn't hear too much extra noises from other rooms or halls. There's plenty of parking around the hotel. This place did its job as a place to stay. read more

My mother and I arrived after a five-hour drive, hoping for a restful stay. Instead, we were hit with a stench in the hallway that smelled like old mop water and mildew. When we opened the door to our room, the smell was so strong it nearly knocked us over. We didn't even feel comfortable sitting down. We asked to be moved and were helped by a very kind employee named Cynthia, who was the one bright spot in this experience. Her customer service was absolutely phenomenal and I want to make sure she is acknowledged. Unfortunately, the second room was just as bad--same awful odor, plus rusted fixtures and overall disrepair. We were so tired, but we both agreed that we couldn't stay in a place that smelled and looked this neglected. I called the hotel's general manager the next business day and left a voicemail--no response. I called again that afternoon and left another message--still nothing. I even called again this morning and spoke with a sweet woman who politely asked for the details of my refund request and said the GM, Shunddra (pronounced Shuh-don-druh), would be the one to make the final decision. Alana was careful with her words, which made me think the GM might've been nearby. But regardless, the fact that a general manager has offered zero follow-up or accountability is honestly disturbing. I cannot believe this location is allowed to carry the Hilton name. The conditions were completely unacceptable, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed less than an hour before leaving and booking a room down the road at the Holiday Inn Express. Save your money AND your nose by booking with the Holiday Inn Express next door. read more

Wish I could rate a zero. My experience was short but let me know to get out quick. Checked in for a three night stay. The first ADA room had the aroma of old smoke and the TV would not come on. The desk swapped us to an adjacent ADA room. The second ADA room had two major issues. The entry door hinges were loose requiring me to lift the door and push toward the hinge to close it. The desk island had electrical wires hanging from the desk to the floor where the chair was causing a Major safety hazard. The third room we were given was open when we approached and had not been cleaned with used linen, towels and trash on the floor. The general condition of the three rooms had rusty light fixtures in the bathroom and all needed a deep cleaning and maintenance. The closed outdoor pool had green water in it. The lone manager was great but the only employee on duty, with no housekeeper no maintenance person. Hampton and Hilton should close this property and do a full remodel. read more

The worst hotel stay I've ever had to stay in!. The middle of August , on the 1st night, the air conditioner went no lower than 80 degrees, no tv remote to be found in the room. 2nd day moved to another room where the refrigerator did not work, the tub water trickled out slowly from the faucet, and the maintenance man took the blown bulb out of the bathroom but never replaced it. I was so ready to leave and would have if I wasn't there on business. I also wanted to use the pool but it was completely drained for maintenance. I will never make the mistake of staying here again. They have a few "good" amenities. I don't feel it balances out the negative. My husband travels for work, he and his crew arrived late one night and had reservations. They had sold their rooms and had no more available. They had to drive 40mins to another town. If you're in the room from 8am-until while house keeping is out be prepared for slamming doors constantly (insane). Location is good with plenty parking. However Bainbridge is a small town, you'll find a Sonic, ChickFilA, Zaxby's, Popeyes and a couple Mexican restaurants near the hotel. The workers are not happy looking friendly, they look like they hate them job, moody and if you sit in the lobby you'll hear their drama. Creepy place. We stay at a Hampton Inn every time we travel but something is wrong at this Bainbridge GA location. We booked directly on their website but when we checked in the receptionist lectured us to not book online and only call. But the worst part was she gave us a room with someone in it. She said it wasn't cleaned but the tv was on and someone was in the bed. She said they were booked and we had to file claim on cc bc she wouldn't reimburse us that night. August 2023 read more

This is an average Hampton Inn, but I want to give extra stars for two things: 1) I checked into my room and couldn't get the TV to work, so I called the front desk and they sent help. Long story short, they couldn't figure out the problem, so they offered to upgrade my room to another on the same hall that did have a functional TV. I was expecting to just get "sorry there's nothing we can do" but instead they did everything to accommodate me, which is what I appreciate about being a Hilton Honors member! 2) I'm not usually a fan of hotel breakfasts, and unfortunately Hampton is typically no exception - I can't stomach the plastic-bag eggs and other "hot" items except maybe the waffles, which aren't everywhere or a healthy option. So when I came downstairs on my way out the door, I was delighted to see smoothies! There were two, I chose the Peach Mango and it was delicious! And BONUS, they were stocked with paper straws! Such a small change but a really meaningful one with a positive environmental impact - proud to support an organization trying to make positive changes. read more

First off... no one in this "motel" wears a mask when the sign says, "for your safety all employees will wear masks". We got room 212 and the water was turned off. The front desk said sorry we had to turn it off in your wing. It was only a 10 minute wait, but weird nonetheless. Then, 20 minutes later the toilet wouldn't flush. They changed our room. Fine. Have been staying here off and on for many years. But never again. Asked for 2 extra towels and were given 2 bath mats with the explanation that was all they had. No shampoo in room and was told there was none available,....even in unoccupied rooms. No extra toilet paper in room. Had to go to desk. Rotten bananas on breakfast bar. Lastly, shower pan in awful shape ......looked more like a Motel 6, which I will stay in before coming back to this dump. Just as a side note, the last time I was here upon returning to my room, I stepped out of my shoes on to a wet carpet. They had cleaned the carpet while I was out, and it was still wet. We checked in and upon examining the room we were literally shocked! Lots of mold in the shower. We went to the front desk to have our room changed and they checked us out and said they had no more available rooms! The parking lot had literally 5 cars in it!! But they were sold out??? Disgusting and disappointed highly! Corporate did nothing as well to help except give us 5k points. We have over 300k points but that doesn't help when You can't use them at a decent place! The staff seem to treat you different when you pay with points. Do they not know that you gain those points by paying to stay previously?? I'm sick of this brand! Excellent service! Check in was great... no issues at all! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean! I am very pleased with this location. This should not be in the Hilton family of hotels. If I still had a dog, I wouldn't let it stay here. Twice they canceled my confirmed reservations, including once when I was on the way to the hotel. When I was checking in, they did the same thing to another guest. Management here cannot be trusted. On this stay, The fire alarm went off at three in the morning. The night clerk had no idea what to do. Being a retired fire marshal, I did.I told her to call 911 and collect the evacuated guests. The alarm went off again at 4 AM. And Saturday night it went off three more times! My room had no supplies ( no soap, shampoo, tissues, cups, anything). I could have made coffee in my room but I would've had to drink it out of my hands.Also, when I was out for the day on Saturday, no one serviced my room. The bed was unmade and no supplies had been put in the room. One room on the ground floor didn't even have a lock on the door. The only saving grace of them having improperly canceled my prior reservation what is that it turns out they had no running water at that time anyway. When in doubt, sleep in your car. read more

For a brand new hotel I was horrified from what I found in my bed. Thank god I checked it before I laid in it. There were pubic hairs all in the sheets. Hair pins as well!! There was dirt and filth on the floor in the bathroom. There was a hair pin in the toilet. I have stayed in many hotels and by far this was the most gross I have stayed in. It took over 30 mins to get me a room that was clean. The night person inspected all of the other rooms on the empty floor and said "they are all dirty" meaning they had technically been cleaned. What!? Are you kidding me!? I know it's not Atlanta but comon... I was comped a room and moved to a "clean" one. Here is a picture from my second room bed sheet. I would never recommended this hotel, unless you like roaches, and the fire alarm going off SIX (6) times between 4:30am and 8am. Probably will go off more but at the time of review 6 times! 2 roaches in the bathroom and one above the bed! Not to mention the shower was dirty as sh*t and looked moldy. Also, the shelf holding the towels in the bathroom was hanging off the wall not level, could fall at any moment. People roaming the hallways being loud and laughing at 12:30 am as well. I have stayed at this Hampton multiple times in 2017 during my business travels, and it is way better than what was described in the previous review. I've never experienced an issue during any of my stays this year. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. My room is always immaculate. The linens are always clean and smell like Tide (reminds me of home). Perhaps all this is because of the change in management which happened at the beginning of 2017. And maybe the person who gave the previous review could give it another try if their travels bring them back to the area. read more

First day (of a 4 day stay) the room I checked in online was given to another guest and they still gave me a key to this room (very scary and unsafe) luckily the guest had their door locked. I was given another room spent the night 2nd day I could not get into my room and again to have key reprogrammed, again it didn't work. This hotel needs to get its act together. We had a great stay at this hotel. Employees are very nice, decent gym, and decent food in the morning. The ONLY thing that I did not care for was that they play CNN ALL DAY on the TVs. The TVs in the common area and the TV in the gym had CNN. Every morning when I wanted to enjoy my breakfast I had to sit down and listen to negative news. If you want to put a news channel on maybe choose Good Morning America. read more
