Large closet, the door had a full mirror on it.

Check the closet for a super sweet cotton waffle weave blanket! We stayed overnight here on a Saturday as we traveled through the area. The front desk personnel were very pleasant. We had booked an accessible room which will explain the larger bathroom in my photos. The Hampton breakfast was great, I counted three employees making sure everything was kept stocked and full for the guests. Everything in our room was very clean and we got a good night's sleep.

The staff is friendly. There is a pool, but I didn't use. There are two sets of washers and dryers. It costs $2 to wash and $2 to dry. It takes 30 minutes to wash and an hour to dry. You can buy laundry detergent and dryer sheets for $1each. The building is having minor updates being done. Our shower head leaked and needs to be fixed which I will tell them. The bed was too firm but we got 4 pillows to help make it more comfortable.

I have used this property several times, both for overnight stays and for using the meeting-room facilities. The rooms have been clean and well-equipped, and I have never experienced an issue with lack of cleanliness or equipment failures. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, which is nice when you're grumpy about paying a tourist-season price for a room. I attached a picture of a small but useful feature in the room - a cushioned bench at the foot of the bed. This is convenient in so many ways. Overall, the experience here has been a good one. Four out of five stars for broken equipment in the exercise room.

This place gets more and more disgusting. I'm surprised Hilton allows the degradation of their brand.

But at $170 a night i assumed that it was a decent place to sleep and get back on the road. I had to change my room twice. The first time was due to the room smelling of mildew and the sheets where wet. The staff brought a dehumidifier down and asked if we could let it run for one hour and see if that helps. Remember the sheets where wet also. Finally the staff offers to move us. We got a room on the first floor due to having back issues. They no longer had rooms on the first floor So now I had to repack and carry my luggage to the second floor. Yes, carry my luggage they had no elevator. Room two. We carry the luggage up two flights of stairs with no help or offer from the staff. I took out what we needed and went to get something to eat. After dinner we returned to the hotel, Quality Inn. Try to use the key card and that did not work and it was not abled to be fixed. You guessed it had to repack and move to another room without even the staff offering to help. You would think that they would try to make it right but they did not even offer. So that's my experience staying at the Quality Inn in Exmore, VA. My first and last time

We were welcomed the moment we arrived, and that didn't change the whole time we were there. Our thanks to them for all the advice and help making our vacation a relaxing one. The room was, in short, gorgeous and spotless. No loaner beds for kids, but we just brought an inflatable one that was promptly ignored by our little one who preferred to join us in the comfy, king-sized bed. Can't say I blame her. The room had a full kitchen stocked with plates, pans, glasses, large mini-fridge, etc. We could see parked trains from the window, which made our daughter happy. the bathroom is big and also gorgeous (though as a practical matter a couple more hooks to hang up wet stuff would have been helpful). The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast of cereal, yogurt, and coffee, which was perfect for us. The bright breakfast area turns into a gathering space for the rest of the day, with games and a big section of wall set up for dry erase markers. If you want to go to the beach, they have beach chairs and towels you can borrow and outdoor showers if you want to avoid bringing sand into your room when you get back from the beach. If it's pouring rain, they have umbrellas you can borrow. (Did I mention the staff is awesome?) The beach is walking distance from the hotel, and we went there often. Lots of sand. Lots of beach, and plenty of room to set up and chill. The water is warm and shallow enough for a good distance out that it works well for kids. In town there's not a huge number of restaurants, so that kitchen came in handy. There is pretty a good ice cream shop though, and they do a baby cone for little ones. There's also a playground and park within walking distance of the hotel if you need a break from sandcastles and seashells. I'll also say that as a multiracial family we fit in around just fine. The 4th celebration was fun, with music, food, a fishing competition for kids, and fireworks. A crowd of people, but not overwhelming at all. Even though it was late enough we watched the fireworks from our hotel room (kind of awkward, but it worked), it was a lot of fun. So, both the town and hotel are recommended for a visit. Good times.

There was nothing left except yogurt that was just sitting out in a bowl. I made the front desk aware and the man that had been standing there went to let the staff know. No response. No replenishing. No communication. If you are going to charge over $300 a night, care about your customers. Having stayed at boutique hotels here and in the UK, the skimpy breakfast option provided was disappointing.....well, it was nonexistent. Cereal and fruit were empty. I don't expect a European spread, but a simple continental breakfast was, in fact, part of the reservation. We finally just left. Post-survey, nobody followed up. Customer service was so terrible (other than the people working the front desk). The front desk team was helpful and professional. So, clean room and front desk team was great, comfort and customer service were nonexistent. Not a good experience AT ALL.

I feel so strongly about sharing my recommendation to stay here that this is my first-ever (and possibly only) Yelp review. The rooms, property, restaurant quality food, and service were impeccable. Sherry, Ridge, and Sara are so kind and will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay, even communicating months in advance to see if we had any requests. The unlimited ice cream and snack bars, speakeasy and all-seasons room were our favorite amenities, but the list is plentiful. Our room had a private patio with firepit, heated bathroom floors, a soaking tub, and so much more. It was beyond clean and comfortable! The icing on the cake: they are pet-friendly, and even provided organic dog treats to our corgi. We came in March for my birthday (they gave me flowers, a note, and a gift) and are already planning a trip back in the summer to utilize the heated pool, kayaks, bikes, and other outdoor activities. A must-see for a relaxing getaway or event, just a short drive to the charming town of Mathews. Thank you to our hosts for a fantastic weekend!

They sometimes even have food vendors come to the parking lot. Had a great pizza truck which was awesome to bring pizza back to the room especially since the Italian restaurant shut down during COVID. They have a Farmer's Market, boat and golf cart parade, Oyster Festival, Halloween celebrations, great boutiques with fabulous clothing and unique gifts and wine shops and great prices on antiques to include an awesome flea market. Occasionally live music. Which is the best! They has been limited during COVID but hopefully will start up soon.
