Very pleased with our stay at Hampton Inn, Tomah. The rooms were clean and comfortable complete with a mini refrigerator and microwave. The front desk staff were very pleasant and check in was a breeze. Breakfast was your standard hotel fare but enough to get us on the road without having to stop at a restaurant. My son gave the waffles two thumbs up. Oh and.... the water pressure in the shower was strong and steady (a must). All in all a great stay for a quick mid way vacation stop.

Stop over on the way to a family funeral this Hampton it was nice, friendly, and clean. The morning breakfast was adequate for the price (included) and check-in/check-out was easy peasy!

This location is the worst ran Hilton property I have ever been to. Be prepared to be treated poorly. Choose any other location.

Not much to say here. Only stayed here for one night. Pretty standard for a Hampton Inn...

This is a good low-range motel in Tomah, WI. Not my first choice to stay at, but other places were…read morebooked. Stayed here during the end of the COVID fiasco. The motel was doing its best to go "back to normal" but sofas and chairs were marked as no use from the COVID rules. The breakfast was skimpy, but as I stayed it filled out more. COVID restrictions being lifted and all. The front desk check-in was easy, and the lady behind the counter was very nice, but she seemed very nervous as well and I had to pry information out of her, like when was breakfast, was there a laundry room, wifi connection instructions, etc... Again, she was very friendly but seemed flustered. My room was on the 2nd floor and there is not an elevator in the place. The nice lady offered to help me with my bags, but I said I had it handled. My room was large and clean. a tad worn but spacious. Nice TV, and nice lighting. Plug-ins were a bit lacking but I made do. They give you the choice of how often the maid comes to your room, I guess because of COVID? I chose every other day. Towels are small. I have a 38" waist and it barely wraps around me. They are thin too. The bed was a King and it was sort of comfortable. Heat and AC worked well. The fridge was cold and the microwave worked too. One Ice machine in the lobby and I believe pets are allowed. There is a fire pit and patio chairs at the far end of the motel but it seems like those are taken by frequent travelers who smoke and drink beer.

Adjacent to Kwik Trip and Denny's. Cons: Immediately off freeway, which attracts some interesting characters. Area is mostly paved so no where for puppy to potty. I did not particularly feel my car was safe, given that I went out just after dusk and early in the morning and there were many people lingering in the lot - smoking, yelling into the phone, or at each other. The gentleman at the check in desk was a bit too overly friendly, and asked some questions I felt were too personal. Having worked in retail for 18 years, you learn to read a customer. He was not getting the hint and I had to tell him I was not interested in chatting at the time. Overall: I would not stay here more than one night nor alone. A bit dodgy. I'm rounding up to 2 stars solely based on location and that my car was not broken into.

They need to do a deep clean and get all of the cobwebs on the walls off and the baseboards. The beds were so hard. I felt like I was sleeping on the floor and the pillow were like sleeping on a bag of cotton balls. Thankfully we were only there for one night. The front desk manager (or owner we not sure) was very nice. If you do decide to stay here make sure you get the lowest price possible. We almost paid $100 until I found a cheaper price online.

The shower/tub combo was of notable size... it could have easily fit 4 people standing, or 2 in the tub. The hotel itself is dog friendly. They offer continental breakfast on weekdays. There is this crazy hands free pancake making machine. It was like an easy bake over but from 2024. It was activated by motion - of course, I couldn't figure this out. Meanwhile there is a dispenser and conveyer belt inside, that is just plopping down mix and moving these pancakes through the cooking process. I realized my pancake was done so I put my plate at the end where it - BLOOPS - drops it. Then I realized my mistake. Pancake after pancake.... after pancake. They just kept coming down that belt and plopping on my plate. Luckily they were only 4" in diameter (max), so after what felt like 17 pancakes I scurried back to my room. Beagles love pancakes, so not a single one went to waste. There is no pool or hot tub. I asked and they looked at me like I lost my mind. They weren't too far from the truth. The only reason I was at this hotel was because my mother unexpectedly passed and I wanted to visit my grandparents. So my marbles were a little out of sorts. I also went outside and forgot my key. At 11:30pm.... that was also a tad embarrassing. The only real issue is that the on/off ramps to 94 are super close. If you are a light sleeper, you will be awake all night. If you have a dog reactive to loud noises/booms/thunder, not the best place to stay. Moved hotels for Fri/Sat because the cost for a Fri night was nearly double what I paid for week nights.

The front desk staff had me checked in quickly. I left to go get dinner and when I came back she was cleaning and sweeping. My room was awesome like before. Perfect size for 1 or 2 people. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I crashed for almost 10 hours, got up and went downstairs to grab some yogurt and juice (I'm not much of a breakfast eater). They had cereal, breads, bagels, coffee, eggs and a make your own pancake station. Check out was simple and fast. Plenty of parking. One thing I will mention is that if your room is in the back of the hotel you will hear the traffic from the Interstate. For me it wasn't a problem as I sleep with earplugs. I will stay there again if I'm in the area.
