We noticed two braces underneath the couch were cracked even though no one over 200 lbs. sat in it. We called Thayers and Roger and Owen surprised us by picking it up, repairing it better than new and delivering it in time for our company to arrive. Personally, I have never experienced such good customer service! Thank you so much.

The store is so welcoming and amazingly decorated you almost have no choice but to check it out. It's like the best of Pinterest all landing in one store. You can find your dream home all within these four walls. I went online recently to do some perusing as I miss being in Sag Harbor right now and ended up purchased some items from their online store. All the items arrive in perfect condition with a hand written thank you note from the owners themselves, Matt & Natasha. It was like receiving a gift from old friends. What a great experience. When I am back in town, I will most definitely make an effort to visit MONC XIII again. The owners live locally and are a pleasure to interact with both in person and remotely. Great place, great vibe and just great people. A winning trifecta.

We're remodeling our home in Palo Alto and as tech new money have a substantial budget (AKA can spend plenty of money on decor). We browsed, respected all the no touching and sitting signs we saw, until we made a fatal mistake and decided to pick up a wood bowl. This was apparently a step too far for the woman managing the store and we were chased out for daring to put our dirty hands on her precious bowl. Even worse, she decided to shame us by letting us know how expensive it was. Now, I get it. It's a fragile bowl. Maybe put a sign on it, like 90% of the other items in the store, if you really don't want people to touch it. But, considering the way they treated the preppy white dude who entered at the same time, I have a suspicious as to why we were treated so poorly. If you're furnishing a museum dedicated to racism and shitty behavior, boy do I have a recommendation for you. Otherwise, hard pass. Go down the street to Comerford Collection or Sylvester & Co - much nicer people and service. P.S. Worst treatment I've gotten in SO LONG that I created an account for everyone else to know. Really awful.

The two gentleman working at the front are very sweet but unfortunately the two elderly women were my biggest problem. Not only do they price the items high but they have the worst attitudes I could ever imagine. We are in there spending money to support animals, be a little nicer. Instead of showing kindness, love and laughter, they make negative faces, rude hand gestures and are just overall those cranky old jealous grandmas that just hate life. So with that being said, support your local animals by donating to ARF directly not through this negative attitude thrift shop.

I was in search of a daybed cover that my mother had seen online, but alas, it's only available online or by order. The very gracious sales lady suggested a lovely quilt, but alas the daybed has a high, upholstered back. We would have to fold a quilt in half lengthwise. After some consideration, I bought a pool floatie instead. There were some gorgeous Matouk bed linens, but I definitely do not need more sheets!
