All of the times I've visited this place, I come for 1 thing and that is their wings. When I step in to this restaurant I block out the church chairs, the sometimes long wait to have a waitress serve you but at the end of the day as long as you receive those well cooked, juicy wings, you are set for life. This place is the bomb dot com!! The chicken wings here are some of the best I've had in all of Miami! They're huge wings with great sauces and flavors. I'm particularly fond of their buffalo wings....heavenly. The buffalo sauce they have is perfection. There's big screen tv's to watch your favorite sporting events and lots o' cold beer flowing. Looking for a good place to watch the game and drink beer? This is the place for that. They serve the best wings I have ever had and their sauce choices are fantastic. The chili cheese fries are the perfect amount of salty, greasy, and gooey. If you aren't looking for comfor bar food their sandwiches are also pretty tasty. I had the jerk chicken sandwich and it was great. The pretzel type bun was a really nice touch and the flavors were awesome. It is kinda weird to go to a bar with children running around, but that seems to be a common theme in Miami. I am getting used to it. read more

I didn't have the wings. Could've been our mistake but we came in hungry on New Years Day in the evening. We were in the mood for a good burger. It was eh, less than ok. They don't offer any toppings more special than American cheese on the burgers and the buns aren't even toasted. It's really dark in there so you can't see if the place is dirty or clean. I saw our waiter and his clothes were dirty from head to toe. Ewwww. We also ordered chili cheese fries. The chili was watery and flavorless. To top it off we paid like $30 for 2 burgers and 1 order of chili fries. Wouldn't recommend even if it's the only place open. Make yourself a sandwich at home - you'll thank me. P.S. So we have been going to this Sports Grill location for years but recently it changed to the Hammocks Grill. It's gone downhill steadily since the change. The wings are lacking in flavor/seasoning. The fries are right behind them basically bland and soggy. Tonight we ordered a burger and it was pretty terrible too. I hope it's just been a few off nights and that's why I only took off 2 stars from my original rating. read more

We were looking for a place to watch the playoff game on Sunday. We wanted to go to a place with lots of big TVs. The food was actually secondary to our quest. My friend and I decided to scout it out Saturday night. We ordered takeout I figured I could see the place when I picked up the food. I was not impressed by the atmosphere at all. It was dark and dingy. They don't have a lot of TVs and only a few big ones and the rest were small. I decided right then that this would not be the place to watch the game. As I walked across the floor my feet stuck! It so grossed me out. I just didn't get a feeling that this place was cleaned very often. When I walked up to the bar to pick up my order, no one even gave me a glance. I thought for a while that maybe I was invisible. Once I got a servers attention, she helped me and was friendly. We brought our wings home (got fries too). I ordered them well done - not sure if they were, they were pretty soggy (so were the fries) - which I know will happen when they are covered so I can't say for sure if they would have been had I had them at the bar fresh, but I didn't live but 5 minutes from the place so not sure how everything got that soggy. No biggie we just popped them in the oven for a few. Fries were so so nothing out of the ordinary there. The wings were also so so. They were large - which was good, but that was the only thing good I can say about them. We had ordered the hot sauce and it didn't have that buffalo flavor at all and they weren't spicy either - I guess they pour Worcestershire sauce or something over them with the buffalo sauce, I have to say not a fan of that. I think the only thing that was good was the blue cheese dressing. The wings were edible, just really boring. Glad we scoped it out the night before - I really found nothing too impressive here. This place puts the Sports Grill name to shame! Really? I have no idea how so many people give it such great reviews. Lets start by saying that their famous Special Grilled wings don't taste the same as the other locations. The fries come out burned but you wouldn't be able to tell because the only light in this place is from neon signs on the wall and the tint on the front door and windows is so dark you think it night time in the middle of the day. So when you bite into the hard fries you return them just to get burned ones again. I give up. They don't have Sweet Tea but I guess if you are here you are drinking beer which I do have to say is always cold! Now the service here is just Meh. I personally don't like when the waitress tell their whole personally sob story and business to the customers for a better tip while ignoring everyone else! I guess they don't have uniform here because one person was wearing a St. Brendan Elementary School shirt, just plain weird. Yummy, consistent food. All the waitresses are friendly and great at their jobs. Beer is served in a mug so cold it becomes slush - amazing. Fries are crunchy and hot, the cheese sauce makes the meal. Super cheap lunch specials, with big portions. Every time I get the lunch dolphin Caesar salad I can't finish all of the fish. The owner is usually there - and you see the same crowd almost daily. Pool table, several TV's, a few arcade games, and a juke box make this a cool place to get some beers with a group. This place has the best wings ever..I have tried wings at other sports bars and no one can compare. However, this is an older establishment and it is in desperate need of a makeover. I was pleasantly surprised that they upgrade there TV's to flat screens but they really need to work on the decor..the tables and booths are super old and look like they are going to fall apart soon..but the food keeps me coming back. Well, it's hard to review a self serve gas station, but I can attest that the all the gas pumps are in working condition, very accessible , they have mini tv screen so you can entertain yourself while you pump gas , and the car wash is in good condition although not brushless. Don't really go inside the actually store but they have a variety of things in case of emergency and no other place is open. And almost forgot, the participate inthe fuel perks program with windixie so you can get your discount for gas :) read more
