And the staff from reception/admin to the nurse up to the doctors are friendly and basically do not treat you as a number but takes the time to give you the best service they can! I had my second child here, and overall had a very good experience with labour and the midwives, but the post delivery ward is very busy and I felt somewhat forgotten many times. I found the bathrooms to be exceptionally dirty. The nurses in the Special Care ward were amazing with both the babies they were looking after, and trying to ease the concerns of the parents while informing them of what was happening.

I wish that I didn't have to move from this surgery as it is the best I have experienced in London. It is a small and friendly surgery where the receptionists are very pleasant and helpful. They also open at either 7.30am or 8am in the mornings and 9pm on Tuesday which avoids the whole hassle of taking time off work to visit the doctor. My doctor was Dr Ana Viejo who was fantastic and on the one occasion I couldn't see her, I had a terrible throat infection and the practice manager on walking through the reception could see my discomfort. He then immediately saw me despite not being on duty as the doctor I was due to see was running late. Efficient, friendly and as pleasant as going to the doctor can be.

Amongst my complaints are incorrect diagnosises, incorrect prescriptions being issued, the doctor constantly missing appointments (mostly due to his supposed illness - but that is where the golf clubs come in) and insisting that my 8.5 month pregnant wife walk 2 miles to get £10 from a cash machine when I had already said that I would personally bring the cash round straight after work.

I can say this place did an excellent job through the whole process. My op was as a day-patient but I still got a private room, with enough perks that I almost felt guilty that I was covered by private medical insurance. Aside from the giant disposable pants (apparently they only had size XL left), it was a very comfortable setting for the long (and starving) wait pre-theatre and the less pleasant recovery time post-theatre. I'll spare you the gory procedure details but I was treated with impressive courtesy by everyone I had contact with here, from the receptionist to the nurses to the catering staff. The right information didn't quite flow between the various parties as well as it could have, but they did an amazing job of making the whole situation just about bearable. I'm sorry if you do ever have to come here, but if so take comfort you're in good hands :)

The staff there were professional and they had some state of the art equipment (never had a full x ray taken of my head before, it was like a panoramic shot). After the film was ready, we discussed options and booked in surgery. Maggie, Dr Goll's secretary is a pleasure to work with, she was so organised that I was almost unnecessary to the entire process. Even when my health insurance didn't want to pay for it or ask for local anaesthetic, Dr Goll asked for the phone number and 10 minutes later I had my authorisation. Great work!

I'm not going to comment about individual services - with the NHS it can be entirely down to who you are due to see, about what and when. So, instead I'll concentrate on the facilities available and access: The hospital is served by at least 5 buses, but only the 261 and R1 actually enter the grounds. Most ward visiting hours tend to be 2-4pm and 6-8pm, though the nursing staff are pretty flexible if you give 'em advance warning. Visitors are pretty well catered for: there is a coffee bar and restaurant open during daytime hours, a newsagent which stays open longer and various vending machines. Tip: Finding a parking space at peak times is enough to give you a coronary however (as do the charges), so I recommend using the Sainsbury's car park next door. The hospital is pretty quick to get to from most places, as it is on the A21.

Poor service. I…read morewent to the urgent care centre and was very disappointed with the service I'm 17th weeks pregnant and was experiencing a lot of pain and feeling generally unwell. I was also worried about my unborn child. The dr that I saw was so pantronising. And spoke down to me as thou I had wasted her time, and was suggested that my pain was just due to growing pains! Please I dont choose to want to sit for two hours on my only day off to be told this. It turned out that I had uti. I asked the dr if she could check the baby's heartbeat as I was concerned she advised that they didn't offer this service due to patient misuse (which she was directing at me)!!! I have worked for the NHS for 18 years. And have never been so disappointed with the service.

I was impressed by how the staff greeted an elderly gentleman by name, and dealt with his inquiry. I registered with a minor hiccup, and was called back for a general health checkup. I got a TB test done from here recently, and got vaccinated against it as well. My nurse was a lovely woman who talked to me about the disease, symptoms and prevention. I had no antibodies apparently, and the lifetime vaccine was quickly administered. Its an efficient practice, so I would recommend anyone to use it for their basic medical needs.

Dad had district nurses coming out daily to set up his feed up, he'd had a bad stroke a few years ago which affected his swallowing so he had to be peg fed. So many doctors and nurses had seen my dad but they didn't refer him to an oncologists until it was too late, he passed away 1st October 20016! There's a lot more to this, but obviously too long to put in review.
