Adrianna was Amazing & Extremely Awesome with her service's rendered to Me. She was also full of helpful information,tips and advice to maintain healthy feet etc.etc..... She was down to Mother Earth & Honesty I could've sat down with her all afternoon to be pampered while drinking some coffee served to me. Tried 2 barbers and for the price won't do a Bald fade. Tried another barber and explained that I wanted a bald fade the best I could. Disappointed that they say high end but both weren't good with clippers and could see spots missed. read more

Additional time is allotted for a reviving foot and calf massage, callus resurfacing, restorative nail care (clip, file, nip and buff), warm paraffin, and our hot towel wrap. Pros: The two Black women who were in the nail section of the shop were very pleasant and funny!! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The tea-tree oil pedicure made my feet feel clean and soft! The nail tech did not nick my cuticles nor did she leave then bruised up!!! My feet was scrubbed, soaked, massaged, buffed, and then some. My toes look suckable (ha ha ha)!!!!! I struggle with routine. Washing my truck, getting a haircut, changing the oil, all tough and I let them slide too long. I have found that memberships help me to keep the routines. This spot is one of those cases. They don't require a membership but I find it worthwhile. There is clearly a cultural priority to kindness and warmth when you walk in. Everyone is very welcoming(so far!) From front desk to the barber/stylists have been very kind to me. There is a members waiting area with tv's, complimentary drinks and big leather chairs. They have many services available and I've been super happy with the outcomes. I will say that they run the schedule(at this time) a little loose on start times. All of my cuts have started a bit behind(multiple staff) but it hasn't bothered me with the waiting area and the professionalism of the cuts. I don't mind a soft start time if it doesn't lead to a rushed job. And it has never led to a rushed job for me. I'm very very pleased. Keep up the good work team. Jeff is awesome. I was in the shop when the owner decided to rip into one of the barbers like they were a dog. They turn over employees pretty regularly lately anyways. Terrible experience. Took my son who has long beautiful curls that he has been growing out for years. We usually have PLeij Salon style because they are professionals when it comes to curls. I wasn't able to get him to see them in time so I decided to try H&N. Big mistake. They sat him with an amateur who had no idea what she was doing. I even called ahead to make sure that they would be able to work with his hair and they assured me that they could. The lady hacked it all to one length (yes a curly style) leaving him looking like Dora The Explorer. There's no way to fix it and it will take months to begin to grow and shape it back into layers. Poor kid was devastated and will probably never trust another stylist again. For the love of everything, if you say you can do a job, make sure you can do the job. read more

Cheri Give me a great manicure which I've only had maybe once in my life ( Would've done the feet but I had just cut my nails) Very relaxing experience. I really like the vibe of the shop -energetic yet relaxing music & everyone was super friendly. I was traveling on business - Just hope a shop opens in my area soon So I can become a member! My buddy's wife scheduled a surprise appointment at Hammer & Nails for his birthday. She signed us all up for the Premium Beard Grooming. We were just told to show up here and had NO idea what to expect, but we gave it a go! This was a whole new experience. Upon arrival, we were welcomed in. Since we already had reservations, we were welcomed right in. Before you enter the main area, to the left was a spot to hang your coats. Once we sat down, we were greeted by our barbers and we talked about what we wanted done with our beards. My barber (Leah) used a steamed towel and different oils to rejuvenate my skin and beard. The service also came with a black charcoal mask to unclog your pores. Then Leah did an awesome job of shaping my beard and making sure I looked clean and crisp. She also talked me through every thing that she was doing and what benefit it had on my screen and beard. The session is complete with a cold towel and some manly smelling after shave. Hammer & Nails also serves beers and liquor. Their collection consists from classic beers to nice top shelf whiskey. Of course I had to order some whiskey on ice, which sadly I couldn't drink it until the end of my session. At the end, my bill was about $80 something. A lot more than what I typically spend at my usual barber. I stood there and thought about getting their membership which financially made sense. Membership costs $64 a month, which comes up 2 complimentary Classic services (Premium cost extra) and comes with a drink of your choice. Soo either I pay $80 something now for this one time session, or pay $64 for the membership to get 2 sessions for this month AND get a drink each time. Membership made sense to me! I went back a few weeks later and another Beard Shave and Leah did an awesome job! Check this out, on Tuesdays, members are also able to upgrade their complimentary Classic service to any Premium service. So if you want to attend on a Tuesday (I highly recommend you do for the additional premium pampering), make sure to schedule ahead of time. You can also get the Hammer & Nail app. You can schedule your services through your phone, and even request which barber you want working on you. This was a really smooth experience and the environment felt upscale but it didn't feel "bougie" at all. This was a great experience, and I felt on a cloud when I walked out. Please go here at least once. You have to experience it to believe it. I went in for a haircut and walked out 2 hours later with other stuff done as well. This is an excellent mens lounge offering so many services, coupled with watching TV and responsible drinking of alcoholic beverages and a patio in the back to smoke in between services as needed. This is the perfect getaway if you need to just get out of your home for a few hours or want you and your buddy to hang out, get drinks but also be pampered and relaxed at the same time. If you have discretionary money you just want to spend, this place would be the place to go. If you want just a haircut this is not the place. They do have many options you can choose from. You can pick any option or options from literally head to foot. When you enter there is a display case with cigars sitting on the counter and behind the wall are cutting stations and then beyond the sliding doors is an array of alcohol and an area for hand and foot care, with laid back chairs and tv's hanging from the ceiling. You will not find a better use of your time and money than visiting Hammer & Nails. Literally, it has everything you could want and a number of things you didn't know you wanted or needed. I'm not normally one to get this excited about spending money (I'm cheap) but this place is worth it.... Five things you need to know: 1) The experience, atmosphere and stylists are first-class. 2) The VALUE is incredible. 3) It couldn't be easier to sign-up, setup appointments and get in and out. 4) The beer& bourbon selection is great....and it's included in your membership. 5) Don't be intimidated - this place is for everyone with genuine, down-to-earth staff and customers you want to hang out with. Some added detail from my visit: Experience - 1) Pre-Haircut - When I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly hostess who gave me a tour and explained the service menu (and drink options). They have a great bourbon bar (that's my thing) - Blanton's, Weller Antique / Special Reserve, Old Forester 1920, etc. I was poured a Weller Antique and seated in the manicure/pedicure room, which is behind barn doors and closed off to the front haircut area. In there, I found the most comfortable leather chairs with my own TV/remote and staff checking on me if I needed a refill. Next time, I'm making my appointment for later so I can just relax. But here's the coolest thing - I ran into two guys I would have never thought to see getting manicures and pedicures and we had a great chat (one I recognized from one of my bourbon groups). 2) The Haircut - OK, so full disclosure I recently changed my hairstyle and it wasn't going well. I explained the issue and what I was going for and she just took over. I had to extend a little trust but she was amazing. The cut was stellar, the shampoo/scalp massage incredible and the consultation outstanding. I normally discount all of that but I was amazed at all she knew. Oh, and the hot shave on the back of my neck was something I hadn't had in years and I forgot how much I loved it! Value - It's $64/month (discounts for first responders / military) for 2 services / month AND that includes a drink with each service. You can get haircuts, manicures, pedicures, shaves, you name it. But I'm a numbers guy, so focus on just the haircuts. At Sportclips, where I was going and getting godawful cuts as of late, I paid $27. So basically, you pay $5 extra / visit which gets you a bourbon and a swanky sports-lounge waiting room. Best $5 ever. Oh, and the actual cut itself is exponentially better. This is the big league. And let me tell you, this guy is getting a pedicure every other month when it's a 1-haircut month. Convenience - Download the app. Book an appointment. Show up, easy access and parking. No payment until you finish your service so don't worry about being charged. Couldn't be easier and they are well-staffed. The Drink - Mentioned earlier, not going to repeat myself. Full disclosure, small upcharge for premium bourbon / beer, but you only pay the difference. It's not much at all. Weller Special Reserve - included, Antique - small upcharge. Domestic / IPAs follow a similar path but again, the price difference is small. Approachability - Let's be honest, most of us say "male grooming" and chuckle. Or, I'm just weird. Either way, walking into a place that's so different from what you're used to can be intimidating. I have never had a manicure and only had 2 pedicures in my life, both with my wife before we were married. This is unfamiliar and for me, unfamiliar is uncomfortable. Within 10 seconds of walking into the doors, that entire feeling went away. We're all in the same boat and there's drinks, sports and comfy chairs to help us relax, in addition to the incredible staff. You just can't lose. read more
