I have been looking for a sapphire ring for months. I had specific things I was looking for but on a visit to Decorah I came across this store. I have looked online for hours and in every store locally from Macys to exclusive jewelers. Hammel had beautiful unique designs at very reasonable prices. Nothing marked up for fake discounts. The owner is a delight and not only found EXACTLY what I have been looking for but even had it sized and ready so quickly I could bring it back home to Arizona! The owner is a delight to work with. I went into the store to buy a watch battery and ended up buying a new watch! Joe and Sheryl are the friendliest sales people. Joe cleaned my rings at his request and they just sparkle. The conversations were so much fun, they made the whole experience delightful, and they even threw in the watch battery with the purchase of my new watch.
