Have tried calling several times; never an answer does not matter what day or time. Does not have an email to try and contact. Trying to get address of sender to send thank you. They would not deliver to funeral and had to make arrangement s to pick up from funeral home after funeral days later. Delivered a birthday arrangement the next afternoon, worth about half of the cost. I was a previous florist owner so my expectations may be on the high side, but I do know what the product cost are. Rose in front of arrangement completely open, so in another day you can throw it out. Extra was paid to deliver on time....very disappointed. I will add this shop was not called directly so thumbs down to florist that placed order with then. They are 30 miles from destination and local florists were available, so Ruths Roses advertising as a local florist is deceptive business practices to people from out of town wanting to send someone flowers. read more

I received these today from my aunt in memory of my father. I know my aunt and she paid a premium price for these. My mother received the same arrangement and the comparison is appalling (I should have taken a picture) these are just thrown together, there is no arrangement, the yellow roses are curling and have brown gunk on them, a bow was stuffed in the vase, and the card is illegible. These people are absolutely sloppy. Kroger's flowers in a plastic wrap are better arranged and 80% less than what my aunt paid. I won't be telling my aunt, but these people need to let the pros do this. read more

The dropped the ball last year to deliver flowers that were paid for same day, by noon delivery. The delivery wasn't made until 5:30pm. This year I thought I would give them another shot due to it being a small family owned business. However, they dropped the ball. The arrangement was NOTHING like was the image portrayed online. I called the online company and I was 1st offered 20% of my money back, which I didn't want. I suggested the florist redeliver and the company agreed for next day delivery. I immediately reached out to the florist via phone. The gentleman that answered the phone asked a few questions - who was it delivered to? what company did I order online with? I supplied the answers and he proceeded to ask how much did I pay? I confirmed my order was $59.38 and he followed up with "we only received $39 of that and so next time you should call us directly." I was baffled with the lack of customer service and professionalism! I calmly asked that the second attempt be more than subpar, due to me reporting to the company's customer service. The second attempt was much better than the prior, but still not a quality product. I reached out to the online company, which will be refunding me 25% of the total. Next year I will stay far away from this small family owned Update 7/24/2019: this experience is with a florist in Canton, Mississippi not Georgia per the reply below. What a bunch of idiots!! So I ordered flowers from this place to be delivered on Monday to my wife for our anniversary and by Tuesday morning she still had not gotten them. So I called and the service I ordered them through and they called this place and they said they wrote the wrong day down and that they would get them out Tuesday. So instead of making my order a priority since they were too stupid to get it right the first time they put it in line with every other order so by 330pm my wife still had not gotten the flowers. So I called them back and told them that if they weren't there in the next hour I was going to have to get a refund because my wife leaves at 430pm. So guess what no flowers and this place is exactly 6.4 miles from her office. These people are not competent enough to put flowers in a vase and transport them 6.4 miles. read more

Well... all the flowers did show up on time to my mother in laws funeral. They were all wilted and very sad looking. When we got them home we realized that all of the ugly ones that we received were all from this place. Family and friends had ordered from 1-800 flowers. They all had about half the amount of flowers that were in the arrangement picture online. They were wilted and brown. ALL FIVE ARRANGEMENTS THAT WENT TO THE FUNERAL OF MY SWEET WONDERFUL MOTHER IN LAW LOOK LIKE TOTAL CRAP. ESPECIALLY SITTING NEXT TO SOME OF THE PRETTIEST ARRANGEMENTS FROM OTHER FLORIST. As you could imagine it was a pretty bad day for my family and to see that family and friends were trying to send best wishes that ended up looking like total garbage. read more

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. My review is the SAME as the previous lone review. Only difference is I went through Teleflora. This florist accepted the arrangement to be delivered the same day. DONT ACCEPT IT IF YOU CAN'T DELIVER. The man actually told me "you didn't make the cut." I was having these delivered to a business. They told me they would deliver them "the next day." The next day is Saturday and the business will be closed. This is the second time Teleflora has assigned an arrangement of mine. The last one took 3 days to get to the destination and they were wilted. My friend wouldn't even send me a picture of them if arrangement. Sh is just kept saying " it's the thought that counts." This place should close its doors if it can't do its job properly. read more

I ordered flowers to send to my best friend whose mother passed away, I ordered through 1800flowers and this was the florist tasked with the delivery. They promised same day service and when I went to the 1800flowers website to track the delivery, it stated delivery was attempted at 5:47pm CST. I texted my friends wife and she said they didn't leave the house until after 6:00pm to go to relatives for dinner. No big deal these things happen. However, no attempt whatsoever was made to deliver the flowers the next day. I contacted 1800flowers again, they tell me the florist will deliver the next day, which they did, I called to check and my friend said they delivered the flowers around 10:00am, the card had been opened and the tips of the roses were a little brown. She thinks they delivered the flowers to the wrong house the first time. So, the flowers are now two days late and they didn't even bother to put fresh flowers in the arrangement. I must say 1800flowers apologized profusely and sent coupons to make up for the fiasco. That however doesn't alleviate Hamlin Florist from their lack of customer service. Hopefully 1800flowers will remove them from their network of florists. read more
