The second flight represented it the most, and a tad spicy entering into the main course. portions are modest since there are about 10 courses, but I felt pleasantly full at the end. Most of the dishe I recognize, but there were chef twist s and innovation to elevate it. For example, the use of flash grilled squid to mimic a Ramen noodle dish and using slices of ox on a skewer to mimic a kebab. For the finale they used ingredients. I normally don't like, but they reinvented it. For example, for the pallet cleanser, they used a charred marshmallow and topping it with seasoned salt, which plays with savory and sweet. The dessert was white chocolate, which I never like, except in this case. They tempered it into a custard with a buttermilk coating and a sweet and sour mixture with mandarin orange slice center. an adult version of a creamcicle. I've now tried them twice and am a convert! All of the food is vegetarian / vegan, with a mixture of 'true' vegetarian recipes and dishes traditionally made with meat but with vegetarian ingredients substituted in. You can dine in or take-away, and you have an option of dishes from the bain marie or a selection of made-to-order meals. I have noted another reviewer was critical of the bain marie dishes, but I can't qualify that as I have only tried the 'to-order' menu items - which are great. In particular, I highly recommend the chilli hot hor fun which is a box of spicy joy!
