We recently moved to the area, and due to the move were faced with the challenge of finding new physicians for our family, including our furry family. The staff went above and beyond with our cat. They even took the time to educate me on feline ear mites. I was allowed to see one under the microscope. This I'm sure is not standard practice, but shows me that they are interested in informing and educating owners on pet diagnoses more thoroughly than the average vet office. I have had many cats and have visited many vets offices. This by far stood out as my favorite thus far. Their office is clean, organized, spacious. The staff is knowledgable, and professional. LOVE HAMILTON VET! Hamilton vet does a wonderful job explaining situations and they are not judgmental over how you decide to care for your Dog-Not only do they care a great deal, they have saved 2 of my dog's lives! One of our rescue dogs was going to have to be put down from a 2000$ quote to have an eye removed due to cancer, but Hamilton gave us an affordable option and he was given a second chance at life. They were very good at helping us understand the procedure and the risks. My other Dog needed pyometra surgery and they swept her in and took wonderful care of her. I really felt they cared for her not as another number but as a the sweet girl she is. They keep costs low and at no sacrifice to service. We LOVE Hamilton vet! read more

As usual I got a very caring vet and got the best care for my new kitten possible. We went through the whole kitten checklist, shots, deworming, neutering and got out within an hour. I'm happy that they have a sense of humor too, my kitten proved to be quite the handful, climbing windows and peeking at them in their back room. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff does not push any additional services or medications on you, which would be above and beyond what is truly needed. We've taken our dogs here for years and have always had a great experience with the doctors. For the doctors I give a Five Star rating. The receptionists are another story entirely. On many occasions I have them to be very rude and short with their customers. For the receptionists I give them a Two Star rating. I wish reception would get their customer service skills in order. I am going to the Hamilton Vet Clinic since I got my first dog eight years ago and I have to say that I am always very satisfied with the care and knowledge the staff and doctors have. They answered all my questions and gave good advice about feeding and exercising my dog since he is my first dog. Naturally I also continue going there with now two dogs and two cats. The staff made you feel extremely comfortable, they weren't way over priced like some others in West Michigan and they took very good care of our pet! Thank you...
