Hambleden is a beautiful village tucked in a valley of the Chilterns and anything other than the perfect village stores would be - in Prince Charles' words - a carbuncle.
Luckily, these stores are absolutely wonderful. They have a great range of fresh and larder ingredients and produce - all displayed tastefully and all of superb quality.
They folks serving are all lovely. It's a real pleasure to pop in and just have a browse and a natter.
Prices are a little on the steep side. But, bearing in mind they have a captive audience, not too much so. read more
