We ordered a bunch of dishes since we hadn't eaten all day and I'm glad we did. My favorite by far was their gambas. Sizzling and garlicky, good quality shrimp, it's one of those dishes that I could've eaten multiple orders of. The meatballs were tasty and the sauce I scooped up with a bunch of bread, didn't leave anything left on the plate. The croquettes were good but my favorite. The fried goat cheese was surprisingly good as well. The bread with tomato bread was nice little appetizer. We came for lunch and they only sit people in the outdoor dining area and not inside. We got there at a good time because after we sat down, the tables filled up and they were telling people it was an hour wait. We overheard them taking dinner reservations and they were already booking out 3 days in advance. So if you plan on coming for dinner, best to call ahead and make your reservations way in advance. Overall, if I was visiting Sóller again this would be a stop I'd make over and over again. In an area where things look really touristy and overpriced, El Sabor felt like the best choice we could've made that day and glad we did.

Presentation was pretty, the toasted bread pieces were tasty, the base was a tomato soup, and the mussels were nice and plump. The seafood soup is on the pricier side (€30), but it's a good size and the taste was fantastic!

Our late lunch comprised the tapas, we didn't try main course this time even though I saw grilled dorada with salad at the next table and it looked excellent. Rating for tapas: (1) tuna tartare with wasabi alioli- super fresh, flavorful, beautifully decorated, quite a large portion (5/5), (2) Spanish jamon with melon - one can't go wrong with this dish in Spain as it's secret is Ingredients, perfect sweetness for juicy melon with thin slices of flavorful Jamon (5/5), (3) fried calamari - the best I have tried so far in Mallorca, super fresh, deep fried in a very thin coat that doesn't overwhelm the sweetness of calamari (5/5), and (4) small fried fish - very fresh but had a taste of boiled fish that then was deeper into a drier just for a second, I think I was expecting it to be crisp (4/5). Bread and olives were great, as always in Spain. We would like to come back for a dinner to try other dishes.

We can't for a late lunch at 4pm so they only had the tapas menu available. There portions for the tapas are large so we had a great time there. The peppers were delicious and very generous. The cod with the potatoes were also tender and tasty. We also really liked the jamon iberico and the olives. Finally they have a terrific gin and tonic menu. We tried the gin and tonic with orange and also with winter berries. Both were great! Prices were super reasonable as well. Loved it!
