I had parked overnight in the 58 Richmond Street Green P and went to work at St. Michael's…read moreHospital. In the morning my car would not start in the -18 degree Celsius cold weather of the garage. I called CAA around 7:45am on Feb 1 2019 for a boost and charge to my battery. The person who showed up from CAA 30 minutes later did a battery check and said my battery had low voltage and would not start if he were to attempt a boost. He then offered to sell me a battery, but did not try to boost my battery or charge it at all. When asked why, he insisted that the battery would not start. He said I would have to tow my car out of the garage, and I would have to call CAA back to arrange a tow. I went home and went to sleep. At 3pm I tried to arrange a tow with CAA, but no one picked up the phone even after 50 minutes. So I used the app to schedule service, and had a tow guy call me 10 minutes before they were to arrive at 4:50pm to say I did not put the address in the app properly. He did not show up. I scheduled another service request and the app said I would get help at 5:40pm. I went to the hospital before 5:40pm and waited. No one showed up or called, and the app remained active. I finally called Edward from Central Towing Services, who was referred to me (by the only helpful Green P employee of the day) at 8:00pm and he came and boosted and charged my car with no issues, and I was able to drive it and leave it at a repair shop. The cost of his service was $150.00. He told me the boost and charge could have been done in the morning by the first guy CAA sent had he known what he was doing, because my car power windows and stereo worked before the boost. I didn't mind paying that amount because CAA was going to have to reimburse me with the receipt that I got from Edward. He came with a white Square Reader and everything.

Don't use your washer - I'll be in touch. Took my $85 and said it'll be used towards the repair. Never heard a peep. Followed up on Monday and Jay returned my call. Admitted he was out of town and couldn't find the part and apologized that no one kept me updated. I told him I have the parts. Ordered off Amazon. I asked how was I able to find the part and he couldn't. I'm not into the fixing appliances industry. He couldn't fit me in until Wednesday (although I was a call from the previous week) to install them. By Tuesday they were installed by someone else. I asked what he could do for me and he offered nothing. One week and no communication. Certainly this doesn't shout "speedy" to me. An open line of communication would have been helpful too!

I was on vacation and couldn't do his service so he told me one of his friends referred this mechanic too my buddy. I warned him and he didn't listen and ended up taking the car there anyways. he did his regular maintenance services and what not, but then the mechanic there claimed it needed new pads cuz they were squeaking and low.. I checked those pads they have about 50% life left and they did have a squeak, which we all know it just needa a brake service. not an entire replacement. he takes advantage of people with less mechanical knowledge and what not knowing theyll fall for it anyways giving him the win and scam he was digging for. steer away and stay safe from this shop. upselling and scamming is his precision expertice.

They lack competence, respect & empathy…read more In April of 2023, I reached out to GoWrenchAuto to have my off rim tires swapped. I had recently purchased new tires online. Unfortunately, during the service, all four rims were damaged, with scoring on the outer perimeter and claw marks on at least two of the rims. As soon as I noticed the damage, I contacted GoWrenchAuto and provided them with photos as evidence. However, the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), Kolton, took his time and only responded after I left a Google review detailing my experience. He suggested I remove my 1 star Google review until the issue could be fixed. The CBDO acknowledged the damage caused by the tire swap and assured me that the rims would be repaired when I removed the tires again. He suggested that I contact him outside of Tire Season, as it would be easier to get the service completed. In February of 2024, I contacted the CBDO to arrange for the pickup of the rims for refinishing. They were picked up promptly, but I did not receive any updates for a month until I inquired once again. At this point, I realized that dealing with the CBDO was futile, so I requested Joshua Lobardo-Bottema to take over. However, he was unwilling and directed me back to the CBDO, citing personal issues that only the CBDO could handle. On April 18th at 10:50 AM, a set of Mazda Rims was delivered to my home as promised by the CBDO. However, they were removed just five minutes later as they did not belong to me. I received a call from the CBDO explaining that they had mistakenly delivered the incorrect tires/rims. He claimed that he had only just realized that my rims had been sitting in some corner due to the specific bags I had stored my tires in. Since February, my rims had not been touched. The CBDO had promised to personally deliver the rims, but that never happened. Finally, on April 30, the rims were delivered, but they were only washed and not refinished. Furthermore, the GoWrenchAuto agent once again piled the tires in a corner, disregarding the useless instructions of the CBDO. The CBDO offered to pick up the rims and attempt to service them for the first time, but I declined. I had no choice but to put the rims back on my car, as I was not willing to let GoWrenchAuto service them for a third time.
