About a half an hour later, I told my wife I had contacted PUDDLES Restoration and had already set up an appointment with somebody to come out to test the spot. From the beginning, PUDDLES Restoration walked me through the process. When he needed a separate company to collect specimens, find the leak, PUDDLES had a list available to recommend somebody who could do the job. From start to finish, PUDDLES walked us through the entire remediation process. Whenever we needed advice or suggestions, a call to PUDDLES resulted in helpful and informative assistance. I was very impressed with how they handled our claim and how PUDDLES treated us every step of the way. I recommend PUDDLES Restoration if you have a remediation problem in the future.

After buying a house from a very dishonest seller, within a week's time I discovered a 'sponginess'…read morewithin a baseboard. The seller's 'handyman' pried off said baseboard, which revealed black mold!! After making SEVERAL calls for a mold remediator, PUDDLES Restoration was the only one who responded to my call IMMEDIATELY. At approximately 8pm, after thoroughly explaining both verbally and with detailed videos, PUDDLES Restoration spent MANY hours performing an initial remediation, making the black mold exposed areas by the handyman 'safe' for me for the night, until he could return to completely and thoroughly check and remediate the entire house. PUDDLES Restoration uses plant-based products that are safe for humans and pets, which were both of great concern with my breathing condition as well as my cat's allergic skin condition. And by the way, my cat comes out of hiding for no one, but did while PUDDLES was there, only reinforcing my trust in him!! When the air quality tests came back, it was determined that far more than just the initially exposed areas I'd asked PUDDLES to remediate immediately so I could safely breathe, was affected (which he'd made clear to me in advance). It was determined that the entire house was mold-ridden!!!! I'm so very glad he'd been honest and 'up front' with me, forewarning me from the beginning that it could possibly be more extensive, as I'd bought a 'mold-fest which needed to be completely gutted and remediated, ALL of which PUDDLES Restoration tackled himself. He was incredibly professional, yet very patient with me, answering my every concerned question with care and understanding. He was incredibly thorough, wore protective 'booties', and cleaned every speck of debris created by the entire process. PUDDLES Restoration is incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of his business, and a truly honest professional. He was in constant contact throughout the entire process via texts, emails, phone updates, pictures, and videos. Thanks largely to an out of business Orlando purveyor of swimming pool solar heating panels (the…read morecheap plastic kind that I found local squirrels just LOVE to gnaw holes into) a previous saltwater pool chlorinating system variously leaked salt water onto the metal roof installed years prior by Jim Brown Signature Roofing. If not for that leaky system my home would have a perfectly fine metal roof, but alas, squirrels beat me in the arms race and a bunch of spots on the roof suffered from rust and were in some places was falling apart. I decided to try Atlantic to get rid of that messed up setup perhaps in advance of getting solar for either electric or hot water. Atlantic got to work rapidly in removing the old roof and installing the new one. However, once the south side of the house roof was replaced they realized the roof panels weren't quite the right size or something along those lines. At that point they covered the roof in one of the newer alternatives for tar paper, this maybe 1/4" or so thick adhesive sheeting that provides both some cushioning for the roof panels and waterproofs the roof. This was because the COVID19 pandemic with its supply chain disrupting shenanigans delayed Atlantic's ability to get the proper panels. Despite this they ensured the roof with just that sheeting didn't leak, and then after a month or few they got suitable panels and finished installation in I believe under a week or so. The roof looks great and nicely caps my single-family residence. The only reason I'm dinging Atlantic a star is that they didn't clean up the site as much as I'd like. The photo accompanying this review shows one of several roofing nails from the previous roof that lurk among brush and leaves near the house in both front and back yards, along with various bits of nasty sharp metal which was dropped as the roofers sawed to try to adapt the improper sheeting to the structure. Other than occasionally stumbling upon such debris, their work was excellent.

The owner sent in a crew from Gainesville, that had the knowledge to get the job done. There is a transition from the house to the guest house behind the home, that is not a straight line and very challenging. The crew spent an entire day on that one section to make sure we were happy with what was done. Additionally there was a lot of rain between when they started and finished. The crew made sure the tarp was secured and water tight, so we didn't have to worry about the rain. I would highly recommend Atlantic roofing, they stand by their work. Anything along the way we weren't happy with, they fixed. Ed also went to bat for us with the insurance company to get us new plywood and flashing when he wasn't happy with what he saw.
