This business is the worst. They have found a way to charge you for things other atv businesses do not charge. After we purchased our atv that we had problems with a week after we bought it. We had to take it to another atv business for them to fix it. They found out how much we paid for our atv and told us they ripped us off in taxes and other fees. They said they have found that out about this place from other customers. They also told us they do not charge fee or taxes like that at their business because what Halls Motor Sports is doing is something illegal to make more money. We took our atv back to them 5 or more times and was told every time that we did not know what we was talking about. The mechanic was rude to us every time he talk to us and racist. He would not even talk to my husband. We bought the insurance to cover any problem when we purchased the atv. So when we took it to the other business Victory in Loxely REMOVED(Great people and business) we found out the belt was bad and the clutch had water getting in it. They also found out that when it was servicex the did not put the hours eight on it and had other things messed up. I have to travel to another place to have my atv serviced because Halls will not do nothing right even when you have pais for their service deals. I initially ignored the bad reviews as I thought they were just old, but I should have listened. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I scheduled an appointment to by a CFMOTO 450SS in the color I wanted, to which they sold it an hour before I got there with no forewarning. They ended up getting a similar motorcycle from a sister location in Mississippi to which I waited for 3+ hrs for while already an hour away from home. After signing all the paperwork (4900$ for the bike, almost 3,000$ in dealer fees) I left with the bike. I realized after a week I hadn't heard back about a license plate/registering paperwork so I called. I ended up back and forth with them from Oct 27 (purchase date) to DECEMBER waiting on paperwork. This was because of the high turnover & lack of documentation on their end which they LOST my paperwork during the process. Once they FINALLY after 2 MONTHS got my paperwork, I asked for any compensation related to the Doc fee (a fee paid to the dealer for the management of paperwork) and was told by the general manager that they could not reimburse but they could provide in store credit as if I would ever shop there again. Wish I could rate 0 I called and asked if they could work on my specific bike and specific tire they told me yes so I got my bike towed (150$) all the way there then they told me the price was going to be different and after leaving about 4 hours later they called me and told me they WOULD NOT work on my bike because the brake line was "disconnected" when I asked the person to personally see if the breakers were disconnected he did and come to find out they were fully connected but not they won't work on it because after all that they just now come found out that the tire they told me they could work on was to big for their machine. So now I'm out 150 for the tow there 150 for the tow back and how ever much it'll be to tow it wherever it needs to go next. Wasted hours and hours for nothing. Why are you advertising all these units when you don't even have them. Don't waste your time dealing with this business, in any of its locations. All falsely advertise, both on sites like cycletrader and their own dealer web sites, inventory they do not have. They don't answer the phone, and when they do, they lie. Trying to contact them via email is a lost cause since they don't respond and have no one dedicated to internet sales. After hours, forget about leaving a voice mail, "Mailbox full". Their staff turnover is very high and they have a long history of complaints with the BBB. I drove to the Pelham store in an attempt to check out a motorcycle. Their ads and their store web site indicated they had 4 units of that motorcycle, when in fact they had zero and had not had any for some time. Likewise, the Trussville location also claimed to have at least 2, and none of the Hall's locations had any in stock, despite multiple ads for that very motorcycle. The salesman never even got up from his desk. I noted that the GM wandered in about 20 minutes after the store opened. Likely a normal practice from appearances. Stay away, very far away. Service complaints are almost as numerous as sales complaints. Fraudulent practices across the business and false advertising. read more

Be very careful of dealer fees!!! Besides being less than friendly when the shop was empty, they charge double, "TWICE" what other dealers charge for freight and prep. Drove out from Pensacola, cash in hand to buy two GTR 230 skis plus a double trailer. Pensacola charges $700, Gulf Shores $800 for freight and prep. Halls is charging $1600!!!! Per ski. They were not willing to budge. I get supply and demand with limited skis shipping from Sea Doo, but that is flat out taking advantage of customers when other dealers are not doing the same. What's worse is I bought a Wake Pro 230 from Halls last year and paid $800. No loyalty bonus I guess. They have lost my business forever and any chance of a recommendation. I'll gladly pay a deposit and wait 2 weeks to get them from Pensacola and save $1600. read more

I had the opportunity to work with Kellan. Placed order last Sept on a 2022 850 X4. I would check with him from time to time. By being in the supply business I knew it would take awhile for delivery. Last month we checked for a build confirmation..nothing. He went to work with his manager and Yamaha sales rep and found a 2021 R-Spec, no miles no hours for just a fuzz more than what the 2022 would have cost not including surcharges because of material price increases. I took delivery last weekend. So folks getting all PO'd doesn't make things better nor does it change anything. So, be patient and give this guy an opportunity to gain your business. On 6/6/20 I bought a high end side by side from Hall's in Pelham. There was a recall on the model I bought and that slowed down and complicated the deal for a few days, but in the end they came through. My salesman was Matt and he went out of the way to keep me informed as they worked through getting the recall done. I had negotiated the deal on the phone and we had agreed on a price out the door. I was anxious to see if that changed when I got there to pick it up. I was surprised that when all was said and done, it was actually about $50 less than we had agreed. I would highly recommend Matt if you are looking for any type of power sports machine. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars for the way they are treating me and my husband. My husband took my spyder up there to get it reset 3 weeks ago. They told us it was going to take a while because they were backed up and we understood. We did not hear anything back and my husband called them to get an update. They told us it was going to be ready by Saturday the week before the hurricane was going to be around the area. We did not hear anything back and my husband had to call them again after we came back from our trip. The person on the phone (not sure who it was) was rude to my husband and telling him it was not done and checked it out but couldn't tell us what needed to be fixed. The guy then called my husband again about an hour later saying that we needed to change the sensor and that was not our initial issue. They guy over the phone would not confess that he was rude and did not want to call us about anything that needed to be done. I think it's PATHETIC that we had to call over and over for the same bs excuse. When my husband went up there today (9/7/2021), they were complete a**holes to him and wanted to start an uproar. We will NOT be going back over there anymore and use take our business elsewhere. It's pretty sad when someone is trying to get services done, and they try to take advantage of us. By the way, don't be rude to someone that is trying to push a heavy equipment on a trailer off your property when you don't want to help out to "get off your property". We went in about two weeks ago to get some info on side by sides (there's literally 6 different manufacturers they sale) a young guy asks us if we need any help and I let home know up front I'm not buying today just doing research, but he helps me even with that info. I let him know through the process that I have two bikes I'm wanting to trade in because we got pregnant and I need something for family and not need to get rid of the bikes (one of which I bought originally from halls). We looked and he gave us some good info but as we're talking the Bama game comes on and the sales people are watching tv while I'm trying to talk to them, I'm a huge Bama fan so I kinda understand and me and my wife just leave. The side by side we wanted was already sold when we got there so I had been watching the website waiting on another one to come in, we'll another came in and we loaded up our motorcycles to take to get appraised as I was told to do the last time I was in there and even told them multiple times what they were. So I show up go inside and tell the same sales guy who didn't even remember who I was about the last time I was there and what we were looking at getting and that I had both my motorcycles in the trailer to get a price on trading in, he keeps trying to get me to start the financing paperwork which I didn't want to do at the moment because I didn't know what the trade in value was going to be on my trade, He acted like this was a pain to go find someone to give me a trade value and got both makes of bikes I had and walked off (mind you he hasn't even looked at the bikes, the trailer was still locked up). He then comes back and tells me they don't want either because they are hard to sale, and didn't even try to sale me on getting the side by side anyway. This is a loss of a sale for them, I probably would have just bought it anyway but they acted like my business didn't matter. Over the years I've spent well over 50 thousand dollars on different power sports stuff (I'm not proud of this number either) of which I've only bought one thing from halls, I've came in every time I've wanted something thinking this time will be different but nope it never is. I'm guessing they feel like they're the only game in town so they can act like they want but Hattiesburg and Gulfport aren't that far away, so from now on I will never step foot into halls Motorsports ever again. And by the way I talked to a salesperson from Hattiesburg cycles and not only do we have a deal worked out on the Yamaha Viking ranch edition we want but he's got me sold on another raptor. Hall's is the absolute last place I would go to purchase an ATV. On 1/10/22, I walked into the Hall's located in Daphne, AL to purchase a Honda Recon they had advertised on their website with a MSRP of $4699. I asked the nice young salesman what the out the door price would be. Being his first day on the job, he went to the manager to get final price. The manager came back with $7625+/-....almost $3000 over MSRP! In disbelief, I personally questioned the manager to ensure he knew the ATV I intended to purchase. He confirmed he did and rattled off added fees they charge. Some were legit but most were not, included a $1000 O and M fee. Later that day I drove one hour to Pensacola Motorsports and purchased same model for $5800, saving approx $1800 or 30 percent. BTW, South Mississippi Powersports in Biloxi, MS had an out the door price of $6100, again $1700 less than Hall's. Great experience in Pensacola, absolutely terrible one at Hall's. read more

My daughter was employed with this company for two months while living in Alabama due to being there to help out with her father due to him having been I'll. He has since passed away from Covid which she was exposed to. Two of her children in North Carolina also came down with Covid thus her decision to move back. The company did pay her the hourly rate due her but, DID NOT pay her the commission she rightfully EARNED. She was selling their product thus making money for THEIR company and commission for herself. They have stated she is NOT DUE THIS MONEY for not giving a two week notice. She was not told this PRIOR to accepting the sales position. I find it MOST UNPROFESIONAL for this company or any company to operate in such a manner. I strongly suggest IF you have thoughts or intentions of doing business with HALLS MOTORSPORTS you reconsider and look at other places of business. I dropped my girlfriends bike off 14 months ago because it wouldn't start. The service department informed us that it would take about 4-6 weeks to LOOK at because they were backed up and only had one technician working. We were completely understanding of this and left. 6 weeks later I call asking about the statues of the bike, they were very short with me and explained that it would take 8-10 weeks because they were understaffed. I called again at 10 weeks and again at 12 and it was the same. Rude responses and acting as if I was putting them out by asking about the bike. Throughout this time, they never reached out to us UNTIL the 13th week to discuss price and to inform me that the battery, which worked fine when we brought it in, also needed to be replaced. It was then projected to take 3 days to fix, it lead to an extra week before it was finally done. A fairing cover was scuffed up, when we got it back but aside from that the bike runs fine now... after 3 and a half months. The woman running the service desk, however, was a mild saving grace. She was respectful and friendly and did offer many discounts, although they weren't much. read more

I went there after I saw a new motorcycle on cycletrader.com, after speaking with one of their reps, I was looking at the finance options for the purchase, after speaking with the rep again over the phone I was given a price of $11330 out the door, which I was happy with. I applied with them for finance but I found that I had a better deal with my financial institution. Once I called to get a bill of sale for my financial institution, I was given a price of $12100 that's over 800 more than the original price. The manager never spoke to me to apologize about the mistake. I would rather drive 1000 miles to pick up another motorcycle than to make any deals with them. Horrible customer service and I would not recommend this particular location.  The price should have been honored and they would have a new customer. read more

Including the tag off my trade in. Which they said oh we'll mail to you in the morning... which sounded reasonable. So a week goes by... nothing. I bought a brand new Waverunner from them, needed a repair and trusted them to repair it, but instead one of their technicians made a mistake that ruined the engine. I took my Jetski in for repair. They immediately diagnosed two cylinders without compression, and a third with very low compression. The recommended replacing the engine from SBT Motors as the cheaper alternative to rebuilding it. But curiously, they wouldn't order the engine themselves, and insisted I order it directly and have it shipped to them. I found out why later. After replacing the engine, it still wouldn't' run correctly, so they then proceeded to replace the fuel pump and an injector. $4000 dollars later. Finally the Jetski ran. Twice. For about 2 hours. Then several hoses came loose and fell off. The exhaust hose disconnected. Hall's refused responsibility. Then the Jetski simply refused to start. Took it back to Hall's. Lo and behold, they diagnosed two cylinders without compression, and a third with very low compression! They proceeded to claim the engine they recommended was defective, and for the paltry sum of $1200 they would replace it ....again. And I would have to deal with SBT Motors myself to have the old(new) returned to Clearwater, FL and ship the replacement to Mobile. Hall's took no responsibility for it's installation. I decided not to throw any more money down this particular rat hole, and went to pick up the JetSki. The bearings were completely burned out on the trailer. After two months, I would have thought Hall's would have let me know. But no. I asked if they could repair them, and they said the didn't do that kind of work. Then they threatened to charge me $800 for storing the Jetski. I will never recommend or do business with these people again. I just don't trust them to do good work, or provide any value. read more

Brand new bike in for a warranry issue...over TWO MONTHS later i finally get my bike out of there after paying way too much. The bike was filthy. Oil everywhere. Sand and grit on the engine (that had recently been apart, who knows whats inside), the tank wasnt bolted on completely, was loose, presumably a tech with dirty pants ground grease into my red seat that wont come out, chipped frame paint, bent vent tube.....i could go on and on. He was knowledgable about the bike, having had some seat time, and gave me some good insight before committing to buy. I felt little pressure on the showroom floor, even after my third visit. What a disaster. Took my sons TTi 90 in for a tune and a battery. Get a call a week later, they say it needs a new carburetor. I had just put on in it, nice try. He says he is sorry and will have the other tech look at it. Weeks go by and they finally say it is ready to be picked up. I show up, hit the starter switch and nothing. I ask if they put a new battery in it and they said yes, BUT, I come to find out, no one checked it to see if it worked. Issue was a bad solenoid. Someone named Robb told me the service department was having issues and he had been brought in to fix everything. Told me he would replace the solenoid for free. I show up 3 weeks later, and bike does not start. Solenoid was never replaced. Tech can't even find my paperwork. Goes to talk to Robb. Comes back a while later and says if I would like to come back, they would help with the solenoid. Robb won't even show his face. I said no, you have had it for 2 months for a tune and battery and can't do either right. Took the bike right then and there. They did not even help me load it into my truck. I would give this company -10 stars if I could, thieves and liars. read more

What an unfortunate experience! The advertised in PWC Trader for a price and specifically said "No Fees" because it was an older model year. Started working with Steve Austin and all was going well until Chase the finance guy got involved. Tried to tell me that my deal was special and required more work but in reality anyone with common sense would realize that I actually needed less of their Tech's time to prepare my machines for sale. Because of this "extra work" they needed to raise the price $500 per machine and I needed to give them what any other dealer would consider a huge deposit for them to start doing the paperwork.
