He marked my business revenue as over $1 million when my business only made around 200,000 that year and I was forced to pay an astronomical amount of taxes which I needed to hire a new CPA to fix in the following years not only this I did not decide to continue with his services and he did not contact me for two years then randomly one day he decided to send me a bill of over $14,000 claiming that for the past two Years he had been reconciling my books keep in mind there was zero communication between the two of us for over two years and then randomly out of nowhere he sends me an invoice for $14,000 and threatened to sue me. If I do not pay, I refuse to pay since there were no services provided and now he decided to file a claim in small claims court, but is only suing me for $6000 I offered to reimburse him for a QuickBooks subscription that he had on my behalf but he did not accept and is asking me to pay him over $500 per month for reconciliation services on a bank account that has zero transactions monthly. Please avoid this CPA at all cost. There are much better options in the Bay Area.
