They have 10 or 12 dryers I believe; I know from experience only two of them work. I drove to a place ten miles further away out of desperation. Amelia's opens at six which is just perfect for me as the place was completely empty. There were oodles of working washing machines and an equal amount of dryers. There was a change machine that actually had change in it. There were large, clean folding tables. There were baskets with wheels. There was a machine with laundry products in them. The prices were less than I've paid in Ridge. The dryers actually dried your clothing and in a much shorter time period then I've previously experienced. It was clean. There was a bookcase with books I'm assuming you can read to pass the time. There was a television tuned to Fox (well you can't have everything). At 7ish a very pleasant man came in to I guess open things up for the day. He cleaned out the vents and began wiping things down and answered all my silly questions. In short, if you have to do laundry, this is definitely the place. Quiet little neighborhood, tucked away from the road. Car wash right across the lot, place to grab breakfast a few stores down, gas station at the same location. Very impressed with the place and quite happy to find a new spot that will actually work out better for me.

They send out the dry cleaning so there's a week turn-around time but that seems to be the case most places. Employees are very friendly and remember repeat customer names. Mr. Quentin was becoming my favorite tailor. He accomplished a very difficult feat on a higher end shirt I thought was destined for the trash. Prices were reasonable, work was excellent, and he was there 2 times/week and worked efficiently. He hasn't been there the last few weeks so I called today to see if he's back and they said he no longer works there. I'm so sad!!!!

Yet when I showed up at 8:10 PM, I was told the last wash was actually 7:30 PM. Then when I pointed out that the door says you close at 10 PM, I was told that's just how late the attendant stays "in case someone forgets something." So the posted hours apparently don't mean anything. I was also told that after 7:30 PM customers are only allowed to wash one load OR dry one load... which makes absolutely no sense. If the real rules are different from what's posted everywhere, maybe start by fixing the signage so customers aren't wasting their time showing up based on incorrect information.
