The knowledgeable owner didn't know of anywhere locally that would have one. He suggested replating the item and went through old business cards and found a local electroplating company that may be able to replate it. He then remembered that he had a box of used brass plates. I dug through them and bought a few - $4.00 each; they worked perfectly on my door. Then I went back for a new door knob set to fit the new back plate.
