We stopped in to look around. We were visiting the area from out of town. The staff were very friendly! The store was organized and clean. Loved how they had a huge selection of pet items. My wife found a small end table that she fell in love with so we had to buy it. Now the fun part comes trying to figure out how to get it home (to Jacksonville). I stopped by today and was pleased with the service provided. Having purchased breakable items, the representative carefully wrapped each piece separately and bagged them. I typically resell items and my purchases were priced well below priced items on eBay. I feel that I got things at a great value! read more

This is always worth a stop. They have cleaned out much of the store and it is better organized. Clean and well laid out. I purchased pretty earrings for $5, and my friend found a lily shirt for $8 and a new dog bowl she needed. read more

The Humane Society is one of my favorite charities. This store is much smaller than the one in Vero but it was packed with customers on the day I was there. There was a line at the checkout. The location on US1 is easy to find. Some items were priced, such as marked-downs and books, but a lot of stuff wasn't. That keeps me from buying much because I like to know how much I'm spending. Maybe they need more volunteers. I plan to stop there whenever I'm in Ormond Beach. read more

This store is open 7 days a week unlike MANY other charity stores! Which means I can go shopping there on Sundays. Very much like a HUGE garage sale. Because the inventory is turning over every single day. You never know what you might find. I am amazed at how much work these guys put into this place. Some of whom might be actual volunteers. And every day is 50percent off. I bought a brown leather recliner there once, of course that was non negotiable but well worth the money! And so many clothes for my large size. Including some nice scrubs! My last find were a complete set of dishes cups and saucers. Teaplates. Fruit bowl and tureen. You just never know what is being donated ... And it ALL goes towards the rescue of animals that need our help. This is a WIN WIN situation read more

Dropped off a huge donation last week. Nice older man (volunteer) working and helping someone else unload. He called to a messy man with buzz cut aid gym shorts who continuously ugliness him and kept tapping with some woman in a car. Finally the older man was forced to yell that help was needed and other man really starts yelling at him "can't you see I'm with someone ?" "This is why you're only a volunteer and I'm an employee!" He continued to belittle the nice man who only wanted him to help me. Mean man insisted I unload my own stuff and "he'd get to it" He totally missed the point that I needed help unloading!!!!! He didn't even address me at all. He needs to go back under the rock he came from! Bad bad business! read more

A great cause and they probably have good merchandise (I know I have donated some quality items, including luggage, business suits, glassware, and bed comforter sets, etc.) but the donation experience leaves much to be desired. They have never been friendly, but this morning's rudeness beat all other experiences: I was immediately ordered NOT to put anything on the tables but to instead use a cart. When I filled one cart and went for another (there were about 3-4 available), I was told to leave the other carts "for others." (There WERE no "others.") So then I was ordered to put my items on the ground. The guy there was cranky and clearly seemed irritated that I was even there. I am never offered a donations receipt and never thanked, although I'm sure the Humane Society has made some good money off of my donations. I'll put my items out at my curb from here on out. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have had trying to donate. Nice lamps, China sets, bedding still new and sealed, clothing with tags still attached. The rude lady said "We don't need any more donations" I told her did she simply want me to throw all of this away? She told me to do 'whatever I thought I needed to do' I called inside to the store, obviously they knew how she treated people. I asked if they had any suggestions since she refused new items. They were new to the area and said they weren't sure. Amazing but the Salvation Army was apparently happy and would be glad to look through what I had to donate. Count on me never supporting the Humane Society in this area to the same extent I did financially with fundraisers and donations. I'll look for another animal friendly worthy cause. read more

I go here to drop off items I no longer need or even use anymore because it all goes to help the animals at the humane society. Great cause and occasionally I've found some cool nick knacks. I love to just go and see what's new. So I went there today about 4:00 to drop off quite a few items and was told they don't take donations after 3:00 , really? I don't see that on the website so needless to say I was told they have no one to check it in and put it out... when has that ever happened!!?? Their stockroom is so full of stuff! All she had to do was open the door and I could just drop it. She asked if I could come back tomorrow... umm no my car is full and I need to drop this off . I'll go to the closest thrift store near me tomorrow. read more

So, I went in to this thrift store today and on my way in a young man who was a worker was taking merchandise inside the store. He has a very nice pottery planter and I said that it was pretty and asked him how much did it cost. He said $10. He asked me if I would like him to put it in my shopping cart, which I said yes. There was a sign inside the store stating everything in the store was 50% off. I shopped around a bit and decided to check out. I waited quite awhile for those in front of me to check out and when I got to the register, the woman behind the counter started to ring me up when another young woman said there was a mistake and this item cost $60 ! She took the price tag off the item and said that it would cost $30 with the half price. I said that the price tag that was stuck on the item stated $10 and that they should honor it. The younger woman refused to honor that stated price and said " thank you for supporting our animals " and waived me off. I told her it was a bait and switch technique and that it wasn't good business to change a price tag. She again said "thank you for supporting our animals " and waived me off. I left very upset. This very nasty, dirty thrift store hat apparently thinks it's fine to change prices at the cash register and to cheat people. I will never go in there again and I will tell all of my friends of their tactics read more

Amazing find in the Daytona Area. Went in and everything was half off with some items marked at 75% off. I just moved here- got a bunch of kitchen supplies for a steal ($2 whisker, $5 crockpot, $2 waffle maker), some really cute jewelry ($1-2 per earrings/necklace), and a gorgeous wood table (on sale for $50). They also had a ton of clothing and glassware. Staff was really helpful and friendly. Store is clean and well-organized. I will definitely be back for holiday and birthday shopping. read more

Just here for an extended vacation, but because I love thrift store we gave it a shot. It happened to be a HALF-OFF day! What a gas! They have lots of good stuff and the prices, even at full price, are great. I agree that it's a little crowded in there and it's hard to check out all the clothing, but you never know what you will find! I would say it's definitely worth a trip if you are a treasure hunter. Check out the items carefully before you purchase because, like most thrift stores, the goods are donated and when going through so much stuff, it's easy to let a hole or tear sneak through. read more

Store is packed with a bunch of overpriced junk... I was told that they sell all of the good stuff that gets donated to them on Ebay, so there is really no sense in wasting your time shopping at the store. The only reason that I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is because I am an animal lover. read more
