This place is as surprisingly weird as it is eclectically diverse and decrepit. I wandered in to find a sign telling me that my bag must be left at the counter. I obliged and carried on with my attentive sussing. Metal shelves buckle with the weight of boxes upon boxes of fireworks, while piles of grimy used wares are scattered throughout the store's main floor. The gun cage was a strange discovery, with a man dressed in army garb cleaning slash doing something with a gun. I kept on my mission (browsing and being flabbergasted) discovering bed sheets, mattress covers and piles of VHS and cassette tapes. The fireworks display was the most titillating, with one baby called the "Extravaganza" weighing in a $45 claiming to project 100 shots! I want! When my delight finally turned to boredom, I ventured to pick up my bag and hit the road. I was pleasantly surprised by the varying wares and the gun/firework/bedding merchandise all being sold under one roof. I definitely know where I'll be going to pick up my next plethora of fireworks...

Ron's Army Navy is where you go when looking for Army uniforms etc,(knock offs of course). They have a variety of things, ropes, lunch kits, air-soft guns, hunting supplies. I do not frequent this store a lot, but when I did , it had what we were looking for.

I was on the hunt for a gift for a friend of mine at work, what I wanted to get him was a small pocket knife. So the mission was on, off I go. So I am going everywhere trying to find the perfect pocket knife. Walmart, fishing tackle shop, Canadian Tire. So as I am driving down Agricola Street and I look up and see The Navy Store and decided to go in and see what they had. Well they have everything but the kitchen sink and I think if I look hard enough I might find something that I can use. Well I am telling you they have everything there for hunting, fishing, camping you could be in there for days as survive. Going through the isles looking at all the stock they had and all the camouflage gear some of this stuff is really neat. Finally I came across the knives in the case at the front and I am studying the case and see the perfect pocket knife for my worker. Well I am looking for the range of $30 to $40 when he pulled it out and I was looking and said how much. Well when he said $85.00 I said ahhhh no thanks a little pricey for me. And went and purchased something else for him.

I stuck to the main floor with the clothes, though they do have a second floor with bigger items like tents. I love the set up of the store, though it doesn't seem very friendly for folks who aren't able-bodied with the stairs right at the front entrance. Not super great. The product selection is pretty good, with tons of backpacks and water bottles greeting you as you walk up the stairs to the main floor. The clothing is split between men and women and they seemed to have some pretty decent sales going on. Not going to lie though, I was drawn to the huge selection of socks. A bit weird? Maybe. But there's something so wonderful about a great pair of socks, y'know? Anyway, the Trail Shop is a great independently owned sporting good stores, and if you're in the area I highly recommend checking it out. The staff are friendly and happy to help if you have questions, or to leave you alone if you just want to look around.

Overall, you can expect to find high end brands such as: Arc'teryx, Lolë, North Face and Kuhl.
