Disingenuous and disorganised. Dropped car in earlier than planned, to give mechanics more time to see to my car, as requested by Halfords. Made to wait to speak to a member of staff on arrival as they answered the phone rather than welcome me. Returned as planned. Car had not been moved from where I parked it three hours earlier. The excuse that was given was that another repair over-ran that should only have taken an hour (no attempt to contact me to let me know of the delay had been made). The was no mention of any future discount to balance the inconvenience caused, if I chose to rebook. Despite the multitude of 'sirs' addressed to me throughout, I didn't really feel respected...Chose not to book in again! Will avoid Halfords Autocentre from now on. read more

Booked a service and MOT online days in advance. Phoned at 9.30am to check all on. Stopped the car outside at 10.30 to check where they wanted it, only to be told they could not do the work for days, so I left a few minutes later. I cancelled and requested a refund and then received an invoice for £100 for "parking" at their site. read more

I would give this place a single star, but Qype insists! Customer service is shockingly abismall, unless your a hot woman. I stood there for a a few minutes waiting to even be acknowledged with a greeting or to wait a moment, and Other customers that came in after, got the same experience. Yet later while waiting in the waiting area, saw a hot woman walk, in and they jumped up and all smiles! Car simple MOT FAILED on Emissions Hmmm, ok, I will get my mechanic to sort it out, they said they can for circa £400, I said no worries, I will get the work done, and come back for the retest. Mechanic checks all, said seems fine, but did a few things, and so took it back and they Failed it again. I thought this was stupid, but hey, went to a another garage got it tested, and Passed straight away. So clearly the scam is Offer cheap MOT price, people come in, and they fail them, and try and get as much out of them. The end. Just google Halfords Autocentre reviews and you will see this is the same story Nationwide! Disgusting, and dont know why trading standards or VOSA have not got involved yet. read more

Don't bother they can't even organise their workload. - I booked my car in a week in advance, when I turned up today, they were too busy, the guy behind the counter couldn't care less. read more
