Haley Cassera Collective (formally known as Rooted In Poppy Photography) was born in July 2025, but my love for capturing memories started long before that. I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, photographing family, friends, and the little everyday moments that matter most. Art has always been in my bones — from painting and drawing to editing photos late into the night — creativity is how I connect to people and the world around me. This business is more than just photography; it’s my way of honoring legacy, love, and the fleeting moments that deserve to be remembered. Inspired by my late grandfather, “Poppy,” who was an artist and photographer himself, I built Rooted In Poppy to help others hold on to the beauty of now. Whether it’s families, couples, pets, or small businesses, I create timeless, candid images that feel warm, nostalgic, and true to life.

Hi, I’m Haley (“Hayy”) — Founder & Creative Director of Haley Cassera Collective. I’m a Maryland-based photographer creating artfully unscripted imagery for weddings, surprise proposals, elopements, couples, events, and life’s most meaningful milestones throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and beyond. My approach is thoughtfully guided and naturally candid. I’ll never leave you wondering what to do—but I’ll never force moments that don’t feel like you, either.
