I love seeing Dr Roohipour, she is so calming and has all of the qualities you could wish for in a doctor: kind, caring and smart. I also appreciate how friendly and efficient everyone (nurses and front office staff) is in her office. Each call or interaction I have here is great. Thanks all - I really appreciate your care and attention. read more

After searching and visiting several PCP I found Dr. Roohipour. After my first visit (which was approximately 6 months ago) I felt she was attentive and immediately identified my needs. I didn't feel rushed, she answered all my question and made me feel comfortable asking them. And more importantly, I don't wait very long, I'm in and out. They actually call (yes..on the phone:) ) and follow up with results of tests that were ordered. Its a very personal service - as it should be. I've had several follow-ups and her and her office staff always makes you feel welcome. If you are looking for a PCP...I do highly recommend giving they a try. read more

I just started going to Dr. Haleh Roohipour this year, and she is awesome! I finally get it when people tell you to choose a doctor whom you trust, feel comfortable with, etc. I have gone here for my annual physical, and a few visits where I had an uncomfortable scraped knee, but at each visit, Haleh has been very patient and professional with helping me get the help I need. Making an appointment is easy, and the staff who helps her is also very friendly. read more

Since I move to LA over 5 years ago Dr. Roohipour is with me/ she is my primary doctor. I couldn't be more thankful to my friend for her recommendation. Dr. Roohipour is amazing! Kind, patience, carrying and very quick with follow-ups! I've been very happy and can't imagine going to different doctor. The front desk team is amazing!!! Super helpful, polite, always trying to accommodate your needs! The Best Doctor and Team!!! Thank you for everything!!! read more

Dr Roohipour saved. my. life. No joke. She actually saved my life. I came into her office for a pre-op appointment for a small procedure that required general anesthesia. She did an ECG (electrocardiogram) on me as an extra precaution and didn't like what she saw. Said that it could be nothing but she wanted me to see a cardiologist anyway. 3 days later, while at my cardiologist appointment, I was checked into the hospital for an emergency open heart surgery!!! Long story short- If Dr Roohipour had not been so thorough, I would NOT be alive today. She will always have my deepest gratitude and I intend on being her patient for as long as she's in practice. read more

Last visit I had with her was horrible. I would go to her because she always had available appointments. Does not ask investigative questions (to try to get background information that is pertinent to ones health) and is sarcastic when answering any questions you ask her. May be convenient to get fast appointments. But look for someone else if you're looking for quality care. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Roohipour's for many years and I've always had a pleasant experience with her and her staff. They are always willing to see me same-day when I need it, so no more visits to urgent care! Dr. Roohipour is kind, gentle, and thorough. On top of that, she's fast too! Most importantly, I feel like I'm being heard at our visits. She will take the time when necessary to offer advice, because she genuinely cares. For anyone that is looking for a new doctor, I recommend Dr. Roohipour! read more

Dr. Roohipour has been my primary physician for a couple years now, and I'm a very happy patient! At one point I had to ask some very personal questions that I was a bit self-conscious about, and she was so relaxed, straightforward, and understanding that I wondered why I worried so much in the first place. I get my annual exams from her (general physical and well-woman) and am always comfortable. Her office is very easy to deal with - receptionists are friendly and helpful. The office is very clean and never crowded. So glad they take my Oscar health insurance. Only downside is the parking situation (it's $20 for the building garage), but I just get there a bit early and park at one of the free garages a couple blocks over. read more

Dr. Roohipour is thorough and caring. Her staff is excellent as well. Highly recommend.

I moved to the US 3 years ago Dr Haleh Roohipour has been my primary physician since then. Both me and my husband have been seeing her for most of our medical problems. she is professional and genuinely cares about her patients, if she can't help she will always provide recommendations. She will make sure required paperwork is given to other drs offices you are working with on time and will always takes the time to answer all your questions, you never feel rushed at your appointments. I have a few medical issues so I have seen her for way more then just annual check ups, the team in the office are also really helpful and always get back to me if I have questions they cannot answer at the time. If you are looking for a Dr that cares and is experienced then you will be well looked after by her and the whole team. read more

My husband and I had a bad experience with Dr. Roohipour. I was very disappointed by this as I chose her solely based off her reviews. I have had bad luck with the past with doctors, and I was really hoping to find a good one. She was very impersonal and seemed to disregard my analysis of what was going on with my body. At the end of the appt, I was getting some lab work done and I was concerned what the prices were. I asked her, as I remembered one of her reviews on Yelp said she had answers to questions regarding coverage through Oscar. Instead she basically brushed off the question and quickly got me out of her office. Even her assistant seemed a little confused and asked for my name for my lab sample (seemed like Dr. Roohipour usually gives her the patients name). After this my husband goes in for his annual physical and she basically just did his blood pressure, checked this minor hernia he has and sent him on his way. He hasn't been to the doctor in over 10 years! She didn't check his immunization records, test his reflexes, check his heart rate, or do any other physical inspection of his health. She asked him if theres anything she wants him to check and in his head he thought, "I don't know aren't you the doctor?" In any case, if you are like me and looking for a doctor that at least puts a little effort into being personal and genuine about your health I would think twice before going to Dr. Roohipour. All her great reviews can be deceiving. I had more connection and concern through my Doctor On Call app with Oscar, where I was just texting a doctor. read more

The office is very nice until you start questioning their professionalism. Pros: They are very accommodating if you need to reschedule or running late. Front desk is super nice and sweet. Cons: 1. Dr. Roohipour spends too much worrying about her reviews. Every time I'm there, I'm always asked to write a good review. For a doctors office, as long as the doctor is respectful and capable of doing his/her job, the doctor doesn't need to act like someone selling products. 2. Bleeding after Pap smear is not unusual, but that was the most painful Pap smear I've ever done so far. 3. If you have questions, expect them to hang up on you. 4. Only street parking. Not recommending if you have other options. read more

Excellent and attentive care. Dr. Roohipour is kind, friendly and professional. She took her time to learn my medical history and concerns, and was easy to talk with. She answered all my questions in a knowledgeable way. I had to change primary care physicians due to new health insurance, and I couldn't be more pleased with finding Dr. Roohipour in my new network. Her office staff are efficient and friendly as well. Overall great experience. read more

Excellent visit. This was for my annual checkup since 2years ago. I was very happy with seeing an Amazing, knowledgeable and caring physician. I was very happy as well with her sufficient staff. I was contacted the next day after in- person visit about my blood test result by the doctor herself which I know it does not happen often . I recommend Dr.Roohipour to anyone who is looking for an excellent PCP. Fara E read more

I recently saw Dr. Roohipour in October after finding a large mass on my back. My mom had just finished chemo for breast cancer In July, so obviously I was extremely distraught. I was able to get an appointment quickly, which I appreciated. When I went in for my appointment Dr. Roohipour asked me to lift my top and she felt the mass and measured it. I explained that I had a list of symptoms, including pain and numbness in my right arm, but she didn't listen to a single symptom. When I said I hadn't had a period in 5 months, she gasped and told me to see a gyno...I had to remind her she did my last pap 1 year earlier where I told her I thought I was in pre-menopause (at 32). She told me to get an ultrasound and gave me the info, and also ordered bloodwork. The ultrasound was fine, but when I went in for the bloodwork she had forgotten to mark something on the RX so I had to go in 2x and get blood drawn. NOT ideal. When I got my bloodwork results she explained that my cholesterol was extremely high and asked me if I eat a lot of sugar. I told her yes, I have been horrible stressed the past YEAR and she just said to stop eating sugar. Said I'm too young to put me on medicine and we'll check my cholesterol in 6 months at my next physical. At my physical in July of 2019 by cholesterol was extremely high and she said we'd re-check in 6 months....so now it's been a year and my cholesterol has gone up but she still wanted to continue to watch it? Doesn't make sense. And when I say high....it was 235. So now I have a "possible lipoma" with no referral to a surgeon. She didn't even respond to my email asking for the name of a surgeon. High cholesterol with no treatment info or options. And I can barely use my right arm due to the location of the mass. So now I'm starting from scratch finding someone who will actually listen to my symptoms and help me, not just brush me off as a hypochondriac. read more

If you are late, do not trust their saying yes, you still okay to come. I was late for only 3 minutes and their office were closed to lunch. Come on, why do you even give appointments on your lunch times... And they were made note that I attended even through I was not. They don't have parking. So I spent 20 minutes to find parking in that area. That's the reason I was late too. There are two public parkings that's 6$ per 15 minutes. read more

I have never been to a more amazing doctor. Dr. Roohipour was so helpful and took her time to explain everything that was going on with me. Her promptness, kindness, patience, knowledge, and expertise blew me away. I am so happy I chose this doctor. Highly highly recommend! A+! read more

Great experience for a physical. Found the doctor in network and was able to schedule an appointment that day. Absolutely terrible policies. Thought she was helpful and kind in person, but then she makes me come in every time I need a refill of my heart rate maintenance medication regardless of whether I'm out or not. I really like Dr. Roohipour. I am one of those people who are terrified of doctors and she and her staff always make me feel comfortable and address all my concerns. I'm also in and out very quickly with very little waiting time. I highly recommend her. read more

This was my first time using Dr. Roohipour. She did an amazing job. Very professional, clean office, and a friendly staff. I was in and out which makes the doctors visit easy. Really like Dr. Roohipour and her staff! The building is nice, the office is clean, the staff is wonderful and you get seen by the doctor very quickly. She is very funny and just very nice and pleasant to talk to..in fact, they all are! But, keep in mind to those coming to see her, they do not validate parking. BUT, if you ask for advice on where to park (because the building where Dr. Roohipour is located cost about $2 every 15min), they will tell you that on Roxbury Dr there is parking as well as the huge parking structure next to Rite Aid that you can park for 2hrs for FREE. So, yea. Other than that, she is great and glad I have found her. read more

Wow! Such a pleasant experience. Dr. Roohipour is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Thanks for seeing me Dr. Roohipour! See you next time read more

Wtf !? They immediately put you on hold without even asking or waiting for any sort of response. Never got through! So I made an appointment online. Very fast and convenient. Dr. Roohipour had me on depression and anxiety medication that I've taken for a while now and wanted me to go see a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist she sent me to was awful and had bad reviews and I still needed refills on my medication. I can't afford to go see a bunch of psychiatrists to find one that's right for me right now, but the dr refuses to refill my medication that I've taken for years, so now I have to go through withdrawal until I can find a new primary care physician. read more

I went to Dr. Roohipour for a couple of years since I moved to LA. Most of my experiences were great. Generally I feel like she can be a little impersonal at times, and did not always have enough time to spend with me and was kind of rushed, which I did read in reviews before going to her, but overall I felt like she cared, and I felt comfortable going to her. Her office staff is ALWAYS sweet and professional as well. My most recent visit was a routine female appointment and without going into specifics, her response to me about something regarding female health was "everyone knows that," and she essentially laughed at me. This was already a vulnerable appointment, and she shamed me for not knowing something that "every" female knows. I'm nearly 32 - and I truly didn't know. I turned bright red, tears welled up, and was totally embarrassed and angry. I left the office in tears. You go to doctors expecting that they care and will listen and help you. To be shamed and embarrassed and feel even more uncomfortable in an already vulnerable situation, especially when it's another woman who made you feel that way, is hurtful and completely unprofessional. I will obviously never go back - how could I? She made the decision for me. read more

Great doctor!!! Highly recommended!! Very thorough and knowledgeable with an excellent bedside manner.

I highly recommend Haleh Roohipour. She was extremely professional and efficient. Very quick, yet thorough. I have Oscar insurance and she already had answers to the questions regarding my coverage before I even asked and explained where she would be sending my lab tests due to having the highest coverage amount (which she isn't even required to know). Another relief is that she explained which tests she did not recommend for me personally as they were unnecessary and would just end up costing me more money. read more

Great doctor. There was no extra waiting time ( appointment starts on time)and great service. Dr. Roohipour was attentive to all the details in my visit and was quick to refer me to a specialist. I recently started seeing Dr. Roohipour since she accepted my insurance. I was a bit surprised at how thorough she was with follow-up. I've literally never had a doctor call me to checkin on my progress after receiving treatment. She also returned my call right away when I left a voicemail for her. She listened to me, took a lot of notes and seemed to care about finding a solution to my concerns. I appreciate the fact that I called the office and the phone didn't ring for 5 minutes or go straight to voicemail. It's refreshing when you actually hear another person on the other end of the line who seems to care. Historically, I haven't experienced a doctor and staff who are friendly and non-dismissive like I have at Dr. Roohipour's office. :) read more
