June, 2025, I had a knee replacement and had therapy at this location. I would highly recommend the therapists. Will, Chris and Dan are the most caring, professional and friendly people. The entire ambience in the room puts you at ease, even during some physical pain. They each showed compassion, patience with me and understanding while showing me how to get the most out of my recovery. I am continuing with my therapy at home now but plan to use this facility in the future when I have to do the other knee. Great job, gentlemen. I wish you well and thank you very much. Cheryll

My family and I love this hospital. It's a very new hospital and so it looks beautiful and it has…read morenew machines. I've heard from other people that the emergency room in this hospital has long wait times but whenever myself or a member of my family goes to the emergency room in this hospital, they never seem to have a long wait time. I will say that I once went to this hospital, over ten years ago, and they misdiagnosed my nutcracker esophagus spasm, as me having upper digestion issues, and they sent me home with antacids and of course the antacids did not help me whatsoever. I later was diagnosed with having a nutcracker esophagus spasm by another physician at another medical facility. More recently I took my mother to Health First's Viera Hospital because she wasn't feeling well, and they treated her very well here. They even pointed out that she could be suffering from serous kidney issues, before my mother ever knew that this was in fact the case. Now my mother is in the process of being treated for her kidneys disease outside of this hospital. I will always appreciate Health First's Viera Hospital for taking care of my mother in her time of need. This is why I am giving Health First's Viera Hospital 4 stars and recommending them to others who are in need of any kind of medical assistance.

ALERT: Saturday night my 85 year husband got up to go to bed. He was very dizzy. Check his blood…read morepressure, it was low. Called 911 and they took him to viera hospital. I asked them not to, but they said it was the nearest one. They gave him a cat scan, blood test , urine test and his salt level and blood pressure was low. Gave him an IV with salt solution. All good until I filled the prescription. The doctor on call said he was giving him sodium pills to raise his levels. Went to pickup the medicine and I always have questions because of his other medications. The pharmacist at Walmart caught the mistake in the medicine prescription. The doctor wrote up sodium fluoride for teeth , not sodium chloride to raise the salt levels. I just wanted to make sure you are aware that you need to check behind things this hospital does.
