I've been coming to this salon for the past two years. Most reviews will mention the quality of their stylist and the relaxing experience, but I want to talk about how lovely the team is when the customer is unsatisfied too. Over the past two, I have tried various haircuts and color options. The ability of the stylist to deliver has made me brave to keep trying multiple cuts and colors. My stylist went above and beyond during my last visit to deliver a unique color and cut. I loved the haircut and didn't like the color on me. After six hours at the salon, I just wanted to leave and sleep on it. Well, after avoiding mirrors for a few days, I called to come back to have the color adjusted. My stylist texted me and offered to correct the color. I came back, and I was in and out within an hour. It has been an overall great experience to go to this salon. My suggestion for any visitor is to review the cost with your stylist. With my first few visit, I was often frustrated that the final price was more than what I booked for, and after a few visits, I learned to book the most expensive services and ask my stylist if the cut/color services would cost more than what was booked.

Because I trusted the knowledge, the supposed expertise and because she advertises as a false blonde specialists I trusted this person. Looking down the road now nine months later the signs of destruction of my hair is really going to be years of repair. Instead of this person being ethical principled in her practice, she decided to burn off my hair in certain parts, blame me and attempt to hide it with the hair extensions I use to have in my hair. This individual does not know how to do tape extensions to any capacity and lied to me months and months on end. She is not a trustworthy person changes her prices, depending on your status and financial standing. Every time I came in to retape and reinstall my extensions not once did the owner ever wash the hair. She would literally reinstall dirty hair. Every single time I came to reinstall the hair she would proclaim that some hair talk dry shampoo was the "professional" way to wash the extensions. But, with obvious reasons this was the first sign of her inexperience with these services. Because beauty standards require stylists to wash the hair thoroughly before reinstalling, but she decided to make up her own ghetto process so then you would have to come in basically in less than two weeks to reinstall the hair. After all this time working together, the last time I was, there was in July and she did the same bad business practice again. I even came in three days before to drop off the hair so it could be prepared cleaned and she still did not fulfill the request of the client and actually wash the hair. No. very bitter Miss know it all, but doesn't know how to actually do the job correctly had me come in for re installation and color and her being the expert and stylist decided to do what she wanted further destroying the hair left me unhappy dissatisfied. Within three days I already had extensions falling out of my hair. Oh, and she actually let me leave the salon that day so unhappy and dissatisfied and still charged me for the entire service, even though I had extensions falling out within three days, where after 10 days I had more than half of the extensions fall out of my head, and this so-called owner instead of actually mitigating the problem, or, addressing it head on, decided to block my number and fight my credit card company after three months of ignoring me. Ultimately blaming me for using extensions to cover up her damage to my hair. It's a felony to purposefully damage a clients hair and not even attempt to remediate or resolve the issue but instead ignore block and return that the client no longer exist. She would legitimately use extensions to cover up damaged hair. That is what she thinks. The purpose of extensions are for this person cannot be trusted unless you want to live like I am with damaged hair. And interestingly enough, I saw that she decided to post images of my old hair promoting it on Google instead of addressing the problem that she has with me her client. You destroy a clients hair charge them and refuse to resolve a problem you created? Is exactly why I'm here today advising people to stay away from such problematic people who will create issues and cast blame on the clients that bring you business. Desiree, you need to do better as a business owner and not involve your emotions in problems you as the business owner created. I have attempted since the Fourth of July to speak to this business owner after eight months of working with her to resolve the destruction of my hair, and instead has blocked my number and is now trying to profit off of the likeness of my images. I do not recommend whatsoever. STAY AWAY. She is not a blonde specialist, but a blonde destructionist.

That says everything you need to know about how they treat their clients. The prices are insane for the terrible service, poor technique, and zero accountability. I arrived a bit before the opening time of 9am, and was let right in. I told the stylist (Yuraima, I think) that I wanted a wash, deep condition and set, and she took me back to the sink right away. She washed my hair three times, which is once more than I usually lather it, but okay. After she applied the conditioner, she sat me under the dryer for about ten minutes, and offered me coffee, which I accepted. She even came back afterwards to make sure it was to my liking. At the sink to rinse my conditioner out, she grabbed a wide tooth comb. She rinsed me, reapplied a bit more conditioner, and combed through. She directed me to her chair, where she used a rat tail comb to section, and then patiently and gently comb through my hair. She sprayed some yummy citrus smelling concoction on it, too. To be continued once my hair is done. I sat under the dryer about 45 minutes, give or take, and then Yeimy took over the blow dry and flat iron. She asked me if I was going natural, which I am not, then seemed relieved at my answer, commenting that because my hair was long, the transition process would be "ugly" for me, and that some hair just looks better with a relaxer. I took that to mean that my natural naps would be displeasing to her eye. Minus one for this ignorance. All in all my hair looked as if it was freshly permed but with this South Florida humidity, I don't expect it to last too long. $45 for just under 3 hours, entrance to exit. There were about 6 other clients that came and went while I was there, with just the two ladies working. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the temperature inside was perfect; not too frigid, nor too warm.

You can't be fly with your hair busted! Well my cousin swore no one would go behind someone else's work and do my hair. I was going to settle for just my head looking a mess. But glad I am truly not the settling type. I stopped by the salon before lunch and asked if they'd be able to wash and tighten up my hair and they took a look and said yes. I had to make sure I heard right because my confidence is truly at 20% with my hair looking like it did and I just didn't expect for things to work out given my cousin adamantly saying otherwise. Well they hooked me up! I grabbed lunch and came back and I was probably in and out in an hour. They did an amazing clarifying wash and condition. I think three or four lathers! They were thorough.
