Showed up at 1:00 for my 1:15 appointment I had booked on-line. I was told that I had no appointment. The stylist on duty said that the on-line system wasn't working. Then how did I make an appointment, and how did I get a confirmation? The one stylist was booked all day, so no haircut today. I'm pretty disappointed. Always a great cut. I prefer one beautician but get my cuts on the spur of the moment & take whoever's available "soon." Today it was my favorite lady & she did a splendid job. Doesn't talk my ear off. I just had surgery & it's difficult to wash my hair so I'll try to get in 2 or 3 times next week for wash & blow-dry. They have a nice, bright atmosphere. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised when I set an appointment so quickly. They were so accommodating. Then Glenda, Just as cute as a button, made an evaluation of my hair and we chose a color to start with. It turned out perfect! When we discussed the humidity and my new found curls, she suggested a new haircut! I never would have chosen this myself but I have had so many compliments! Had an appointment with Tonya for a hair color & trim. First off, she seemed surprised by any suggestions I gave, as though she was not used to dealing with color, which confused me, as I had made it clear over the phone what I was looking for. She was rather rude, seemed disdainful of my requests (perhaps she was just in a bad mood?) Also, she continually tried to sell me on other products, such as an eyebrow wax, various hair products, and did so incessantly, regardless of how many times I declined. She was not very communicative, and I got the feeling that she was not paying attention to me, and that my hair would end up however she thought best. Finally, at the end, I was charged TWICE what I was told I would be, because my hair color required a bleach to begin with. Apparently, a light hair color constitutes TWICE the original price. Additionally, the blow dry & style at the end was charged as extra (although I was never asked.) The prices here are completely ridiculous, well above other salons and NOT worth the money. I definitely would never return here. Their only goal is to extort as much money as possible from you, while delivering an abysmal product you could do better yourself. Don't let yourself be tricked out of money like I did. read more

I went into Hair Masters on a whim tonight. Pat gave me the best haircut I have had in a year. She listened to my concerns of uneven hair and crooked bangs. She took the time to correct the past bad cut just 3 weeks earlier from another salon in my area. It was past closing when she finished. I made a 1pm appointment with Kira and when I arrived was told that Kira was no longer available. They told me to come back at 3pm (to be seen by someone else), and when I came back was told that no one was free to take the appointment THEY had already changed. NOT recommended. Do not go to this place. Nasty customer service. I walked in and got ignored by two stylist working there. I stood there for several minutes and decided to sit down. I was reading a magazine and finally one of the hairstylist finally asked for my info to check me in with an attitude (old lady with a grumpy look and personality). She shampoo my hair and I was dripping wet so I grab the towel and she told me to let her do her job with an attitude tone voice. I apologized since I did not know she was still drying my hair. Then, she had the nerve to tell me that I need to be nice to her since she wants to cut my hair. It was like she was doing me a favor to be her customer. She told me I can leave if I'm not nice to her. So I offered to pay for the shampoo and told her i want to leave. She declined for any payment for the shampoo and I left. It seems nobody else waiting and I won't be surprise if there's no repeat customer in this salon. Never coming back and will not recommend to anyone. Go somewhere else if you don't want to be insulted. Normally, I would ignore but she was just awful treating a customer with bad attitude and I would not wish to anyone be treated that way. read more

Today I went to Hair Masters to get my hair cut just like many times before, but there was something missing...Michael. Although he wasn t there I allowed another girl cut my hair. After a hair cut that took forever I went home to blow dry and straighten it. It was awful! I was in tears and didn t know what to do. I didn t want them to touch my hair. I did however find where Michael opened up a new salon and called him and he fixed what I thought was unfixable. I am very happy with my hair now. When I went to Hair Masters to get a refund they didn t even seem to care that they messed up my hair. I will never be going back there again.
