I went in with some reference images and she ended up foiling the hair and working very thoroughly to get it done. She also did great on the cut and I feel like a new version of myself! There was one part (likely due to how my hair was parted) that I felt like fell a little funny which I noticed the next day, and she's getting me in to fix it so I really appreciate the continued service and accommodation of a request. The pricing also felt more than fair, especially considering the time it took and the amount of hair I have which meant more product was needed. Overall, it was a great experience! But, over the year, Franjesca mentioned the benefits of the Kacey Welch Method sew-in wefts because of the volume of hair I was adding to my head. Franjesca answered all my questions and had samples of the Kacey Welch hair, which is amazing quality. I was convinced that the change would be better for me and - WOW - it is perfect! The wefts took the color easily and match my hair exactly. The new extensions are easier to wash, dry and style. They are also more comfortable. What I asked for: I had a consultation with April and showed her multiple reference photos, including examples of her own work. I specifically requested a soft V-shape, full perimeter, long cascading/blended layers, and curtain bangs. My hair was extremely long, reaching the top of my glutes. What I got: The V-shape I requested is essentially nonexistent, the layers don't have the soft, blended look I asked for, and significant length was removed without communicating that to me beforehand. The curtain bangs were also not cut in a way that allows me to style them as intended, even after trying rollers, a round brush, and products. Customer service: I first contacted the owner, who directed me back to April because the stylists work independently. April apologized and offered to have me come back with my hair already straightened so she could make additional cuts and adjustments. I no longer felt comfortable having her cut my hair again or risking losing more length, so I requested a $70 refund instead. After I requested the refund, April stopped responding. It has now been 2 weeks. I had to spend additional money to find another stylist to assess at correcting the haircut. Buyer beware. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking with April or this salon.

But instead I left humiliated and having wasted $160+ for eyelash extensions that didn't even last the day before they started falling out. I was told that the stylist wouldn't touch my hair because I have dark bumpy skin on the back of my neck and her "insurance doesn't cover that". Saying this OUT LOUD in a salon full of people and even wanting to pull the owner over to look. I was mortified. I've always been heavy, so I've always had social anxieties and coming here I was already stepping out of my comfort zone because all the photos they decide to share are of beautiful thin women with perfect hair. But with being heavy, that includes the issue I have with dark patches of skin on my neck, arms and other places. It's normal and I've grown to accept it. I arrived with my hair up so I'm sure she saw the skin when I entered and I'm sure that's why she wanted to do my eyelashes first, because she knew she wouldn't be doing my hair. 90 minutes of laying on that awful table, I immediately told her there was something in my eye but she didn't believe me. My eye was incredibly sore for the next day or so because there was a lash that made it's way above my eye somehow. Had to have fallen in when she removed the tape and I could finally open my eyes. When I went to sit in the chair she walked into the back, came back, wanted to put my hair down from the bun then as soon as she lifted it all into a clip she asked me "are you aware of what's going on back here?" Then proceeded to tell me she just looked at her insurance and it's not something thats covered. I was mortified. Tears started rolling not only from the irritation in my eye but now this, too. As you can see in the photo the extensions have barely made it into day 4. I'm afraid to brush them because I know more will just come out. I didn't shower until 2 days after my appointment, I haven't been pulling on them or over brushing them. I've been home, not doing anything but loafing around in a depression and sleeping. No reason they should be falling out like this. So yeah, like I said.. complete waste of $160.
