I looked like a white Tina Turner with a foe it felt dry and crunchy. It's absolutely horrible. After many hair mask treatments by myself using Sally's bond bar products, I got softer. I sent the owner videos of my hair. She offered free treatment. I went to 3 different salons right after may 9th, and all 3 said it was over processed, brittle lots of breakage. I asked if there was any treatments that would fix it? Not really, it was to damage. As of today I have lost 50% of my hair. I would never go back or recommend them for perms.

Hope spoke to me and really worked to understand my hair, how it behaves, my styling routine, and what I wanted from the cut before she even started. She then cut my hair and walked me through the styling to make sure I could replicate the results at home. And I have certainly been able to! I had never done a major chop like this on my hair EVER, but I have been so happy with the results. I've since been back again for a trim to maintain the length, and I'll be returning regularly for...forever! I say "appeared" because there were several women in an unseen back room laughing and talking, and every so often one of them would peek out, look at me, and then lean back in. Finally, when I was just about to turn around and walk back out, someone else came from another direction, to ask me what I wanted. Well, I'm standing there with long hair, in a hair salon. Should have been obvious. I told her I came for a haircut. Ignoring the completely empty salon, she told me everyone was busy, and I could make an appointment for the following afternoon. So I just left. I'm very glad this salon is so busy that they can afford to turn away clients.
