I've had most of my haircuts done by Sherman, the owner. He's a perfectionist and always makes sure I walk out looking the way I want to. The haircuts I get here always turn put better than I imagined. The barbers at Platinum Fade go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. I had an appointment with Sherman for a haircut yesterday, but he arrived late and I left before he got there. When I walked into the shop today, he apologized profusely and offered me a free cut for my trouble. His standard of service was no different just because he was doing it for free. Not only was it just the cut I wanted, but he did it fast. I was so pleased with his work that I wanted to tip, even though the cut was free. Sherman refused to accept any tip, though I practically begged him to take my money. In all honesty, I would have paid him the full price for a cut, regardless of the previous scheduling issue. He's that good. He's a really good man and an incredibly talented and professional barber. They do good work and Platinum Fade is where I will always go for a haircut.
