We got there early and stayed late and it never felt rushed. The therapists were lovely and actually listened. I'd flagged ahead of time what I was after and they tailored things instead of running through a script. My skin felt amazing after and I left feeling like a different person. Only heads up, it's a hotel spa at the Fairmont so it's a treat-yourself price point, not a budget option. Most of our go-to spots were already fully booked for the weekend, so we were open to trying somewhere new. There is a parking garage directly beneath the massage studio, but be aware of nearby events, especially at Rogers Arena. We ended up paying a steep flat rate of $50 for all-day parking because of an event, so I recommend allowing extra time to find more affordable options if you're visiting on a busy day. The space itself is fairly small. As you walk in, there is a station for foot massages on the right, and a couple small private rooms toward the back. We were shown to one of those private rooms for our session. My husband and I both enjoy deep tissue massages with strong pressure, and this place delivered. The massage was excellent. In fact, it was one of the best we've had. The pressure was exactly what we were looking for (we like "it hurts so good" pressure), and the price was incredibly reasonable. We were glad we brought cash for tipping, as the credit card system didn't include a tip option. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot for a deep tissue massage. The value was fantastic, and we were really impressed with the experience. $314 for a 90-minute couples massage felt like a great deal, especially for the level of care we received.

I was going to a "treat yourself" dinner at an upscale place in downtown and desperately needed my nails done. I booked my appointment online and the booking process was such a breeze. My mani was done by Muna and she was such a sweetheart. My mani ended up lasting over a month! I use my hands a lot for work and school so I expected some of the gel to chip eventually, but my mani was flawless. I appreciate Muna's attention to detail in prepping and shaping my nails; I think the prep is what allowed my nails to last so long. Really happy with how nails came out! The salon is clean, bright, efficient, and airy. I'd def come back again when I'm in the area!

They had a quiet lounge to sit before/after treatments, with a small amount of snacks (fruit, nuts, tea and infused water). The treatment itself was amazing, my spa technician was Rachel, and couldn't recommend her more, absolutely lovely, always checking in throughout the treatment, and felt so relaxed/at ease the whole time. The…read morereceptionist greeted me right away where I was given a tour of the facilities and then shown to my locker which contained a robe, sandals and a bottle of water. Once I had changed, I was shown to the Relaxation Lounge where I was given a hot beverage made with black and green tea, raw honey, vanilla and spices. It smelled amazing and I am pretty sure I finished it all in one gulp! I was also given a hot hand towel that had been soaked in essential oils which I need to start doing at home because it was so soothing! The Rejuvenate Infusion Facial is an oxygen facial, which is a non-invasive facial where oxygen is delivered directly to the skin via compressed air. This was my first time getting an oxygen facial so I had no idea what to expect. Marisa, my spa therapist, for the morning warned me that I would feel cold, but that it was oddly soothing. In addition to oxygen, an intensely hydrating Intraceuticals serum, containing low molecular weight HA, would also be delivered to the skin. The actual delivery device looks like an airbrush pen with a little well on top for the serum to sit in. Marisa started by double cleansing with a Clarisonic which was very interesting to me as this was definitely something I have never seen in a spa environment before! As a bonus add-on, I also had on my face the Intraceuticals Rejuvenate Eye and Lip Masks which are filled with hydrolyzed collagen. After a few extractions, the actual oxygen part began! It basically felt like cold air being blown onto my face and while it began as a funny sensation, I felt myself relax as Marisa did every inch of my face. After doing half of my face, she asked me if I felt a difference and truth be told, I didn't really feel a difference until she gently flicked my cheeks and right away, the side with the infusion bounced back like one of those vending machine bouncy balls! The side without the treatment may as well have belonged to a corpse by comparison. The effects were IMMEDIATE! The actual experience at Sense Spa was wonderful though and I now have my eye on the Canadian Maple Pedicure! I think the next time I definitely want to take a friend because I was kind of lonely in the Relaxation Lounge. If you feel like indulging yourself a little, book an appointment with the lovely ladies at Sense Spa!
